bus 625 is always late and your website shows wrong direction for timetable

Live expected departure times in the journey planner are useless. How many times have I missed the train and been late to appointments or work now when using the journey planner to attempt to look at scheduled departure times? This update is useless, it removes the functionality of being able to use journey planner by glancing quickly. Trains can make-up their delays. Go back to timetabled departures in journey planner.
not sure why they keep announcing delays when they're ALWAYS wrong. I've missed my train 3 times because of it! It shows that the train is at 11:09, you click on the route and see the original time was 11:06 and for some reason they report a delay that presents it at 11:09 But I have never encountered this to be the case. Google maps doesn't report train times accurately either which is great
terrible! it can't find routes that exist on the timetable. trying to do anything with your digital myki is a nightmare
New update: still useless. App is useless if your phone has blocked ads and enhanced privacy features enabled (aka, you have rooted your phone). Thanks PTV, guess I will continue using my own version of this app since my device is supposedly "unauthorised". I want to use my phone however I want given I've paid for it. If you are a developer of the app and are reading this, you lost your spine. No support for overseas card which seems contradictory for a major city's public transportation app.
probably one of the worst transport apos out there. annoying. unreliable and inaccurate. I would not recommend it to anyone.

what's the point of the journey planning if the data is inaccurate? The planner says there is a train at 10.47am from the Parliament station, Platform 3, then the train never arrives. No announcement, nothing. Ended up wasting 40+ minutes schlepping at the parliament station. The polished app is useless if the data is useless. Get to the bottom of it PTV!!!!
trains and buses always late !
I've must been stuck stationary in s train for 1hr and this app days they're are NO delays!!!!!
I would personally like to thank PTV on behalf of the thousands of people who couldn't go to work today because someone graffitied a train station on the other side of Melbourne, which apparently meant no trains could run in either direction, indefinitely. Of course, we all found out about it at the station after you took our fare, with completely inaccurate information displayed on the app and in person and ultimately with no service provided. Thank you very much PTV!
The most clunky and frustratingly outdated system since its very costly inception!
rubbish service always delays been on the train since 5am and been sitting in Clayton for nearly an hour shocking service.

Avoid ordering youth mykis online. My son’s card hasn’t arrived, and the app doesn’t support iPhones, leading to constant hassle at gates. Staff training is inconsistent; while some understand the situation, others are unhelpful. PTV needs a better system, like a temporary QR code in the confirmation email, to bridge the gap while waiting for the physical card. It’s a frustrating process that needs a simpler, digital solution for those in transit.
completely unreliable.
it is so difficult to set up. all I can get is a bus that is a 15 minute walk to catch when I have a bus stop 50 metres away but the app refuses to acknowledge that bus route. the app is typical government rubbish
I changed my opinion, it's GARBAGE! March Update broke it so bad like the Pakenham line that the App won't stay in the background when you quickly switch apps! What did you pay the developer with? Springrolls? Update: May & it's still broken. App crashes when you leave it.
Can't even log in with the reset password emailed to me.
This app doesn't work for planning a trip It's loopy. Google Maps does the job
bus tracker sucks ballz
Not up-to-date, so sent me on a route where bus stops and train stations were closed due to works. I had to run between bus stops because the locations were not accurate either, to discover the next bus stop was closed. I was stranded and had to hike 30mins to an open bus stop to get home at night.
Tram and train works so so but the Bus scheduling is terrible. It does not show current and next few scheduled service at a particular bus stop for TODAY. It always show NEXT DAY even if I select show "Today". We need to know what bus is coming in the next 5/30 mins, hr etc. Please try to fix the issue as Google maps works better. Coming from Singapore, we have apps like Nestia/My transport that works accurately for use to plan their journey to leave home via any public mode of transportation.

Completely disconnected from reality. I live in Ballarat, and the PTV timetables are consistently out of sync with the actual CDC bus schedules - usually by at least five minutes, sometimes more. I’m near Wendouree Railway Station, and even something as basic as planning a trip from Wendouree to Ballarat Railway Station returns “No journeys found.” It’s ridiculous that the system can’t handle one of the simplest, most common local routes. ZERO stars!!

So many equipment failures, cancelled train schedules, and even more disruption to service since it became free. Poor service not due to increased passenger but due to PTV Management. I have had loss of income because late to work due to train disruptions. Sometimes time is deducted from accrued personal leave when late to work.😡
I have had several instances of this app giving me bus times for the right route, but going in the opposite direction to where it says it's going. Unacceptable.
Poor UX.
This app is reliably wrong far more often than it has ever been right. "There are currently no disruptions" as there's a massive tram diversion across southeast Melbs. "There are currently no disruptions" as two trams fail to show up over 25 minutes.
You'd think you'd put up when buses are replacing trains but that's too hard for you guys apparently.
This app continuallys has problems keeping my favourites , everytime i get all my favourites sorted out there gone within weeks Thinking about uninstalling it

Some years ago this app stopped displaying real expected arrival times. You can tell by the difference between the station PIDs and what the app claims.

always tells you the wrong time so you always miss your busses, and takes you on stupid long routes
unreliable for timetable changes - costly error.
It kinda works for basic trip planning, But often doesn't allow enough walk time between connections. The disruption notifications are regularly incorrect (either by date or location) or for areas that will not affect your journey. They also written very confusingly in many instances. Overall better than Google at least.
Doesn't show my current balance on app even though it did yesterday when I touched on & off public transport. Annoying 😑
