I am appalled by the state of the Cardiff gym. The machines are dirty, rusty, and clearly not being maintained to an acceptable standard. The gym is also constantly overcrowded, with equipment and machines placed everywhere to the point that members can barely make their way around them, even just to get to the changing rooms. What is going on? This situation is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately!!
if you have mobility issues dont go to a gym with a lift!

Genuinely perhaps the worse app experience I've ever had. The work out section, you know the one where you set up a week by week plan? Clicking on one of the lessons is a death sentence. The screen lags so much. You cannot scroll at all, it is constantly stuttering. I don't think I will ever use this app due to this. the only reason I have not uninstalled, is because I need the app to manage my membership. The app is still somehow the easiest way to do that. Maybe this makes it 2 stars

What a waste of time. It will just not let me sign in. it redirects me to the web version, but the app will not work. It's 2026. ridiculous.
ridiculous , gyms are filthy , no customer service , no parking yet costly . I hate this gym . I'm out

terrible rejoining - cannot rejoin on the same day. takes ages to do something so basic
Tried the gym using a friend's promotion, liked it and tried to sign up to a membership, but was unable to do so due to the app not allowing me to do so! very slow communications and resolve to the issue! Having to blag my way into the gym until this issue is sorted 🤷🏼♂️

I joined puregym today. I tried to log in via the up, the app opens my browser, I login and then it says redirecting back to app, but it never does. I have tried going back to the app manually, but it is still at the same login screen, so I am not sure what it is "redirecting" to. I am able to log in via my browser but not via the app...
is not working, either get stuck trying to load. or go in loop after choosing country Sign in go back choosing country etc and you can't never sign in
This app doesn't work most of the time and loads errors. Its only good for holding your code. And most features have to be done on the website, as well as membership can't be changed or cancelled.
I've only just downloaded this app yesterday and since then it has crashed and error'd more times that I can count. Even on the rare occasion I can actually get into it it's super slow and loads for ages. Very frustrating

Hire actual app developers please. This go awful app will charge you and not issue entry codes. Contact support amounts to posting on Facebook and Instagram.

why do you introduce app if it's not going to work. every second day error comes up. s24 ultra. every couple of days you have to login.

This app no longer shows you your history of visits that area remains blank. I like to see how long I have been at the gym and it no longer shows. You cant change your gym or manage payment within the app anymore which isnt great. There are a lot of things that are broken now.
Every time the app updates I have to login again. I'm fed up of having to type in my credentials. Why can't the stupid thing just remember. I'm finding that I just don't want to use it anyway.

never updates my gym activity , I have to log out then back in each time.
So I don't like app using only because I was force to do ew account and I have new pin, because puregym never responded to me in 5 days so I opened new one a part that app it's ussles notifications not even help slow down app sometimes it's stop working happened even in new phones tried on different one same issues prapobly i won't use anymore soon us will remember my new pin with I'm not happy

The latest update has rendered the app almost useless. class schedules won't load and it takes ages to get the QR code to show so I can enter/exit the gym.
app has good information and clips to show how to do exercises, but with many of them the instructions are out of order and the app overall is extremely sluggish and lags. lots of little glitches that make it frustrating to use, especially as a beginner that leans on it
Needs a lot of work this app. I've been a few times in the gym and does not recognize me being there. Strange and also it locked me out of the app and had to do another sign in, which is frustrating to say the least. luckily I remembered my pin, imagine if you did not. These developers don't actually have a clue what they're doing in all honesty. The whole setup is pathetic and useless.
Since updating, it does not show live times and numbers like it used to - the only reason I would use it. It's also slower than it was previously. Update has sent the app backwards in my opinion.
If this app ever worked properly, it would be a miracle. Constantly times out & gives you an error message when booking or cancelling classes.
Hello unfortunately, the gym is always dirty.
It's not a great app.. Slow to respond, often the data is inaccurate / hasn't updated. It's easier to just use the website
App working very slow on Samsung 24,and count time at the gim not accurately.
workout plans are useful but very glitchy, ill start the next set and then itll skip it instead, and if i mark workout 2 as completed workout 1 will be automatically marked uncompleted even tho i did it 2 days ago, very frustrating
The app is glitchy. Takes too long to open the qr code. I currently can't book or see any classes
Slowest app on the planet, you can have perfect high speed Internet and the newest phone and it still takes a century to load. Also the "Account" section is completely broken, I've reinstalled the app and it doesn't load anything and the QR option is completely missing. I rather just have a picture of my QR code via email over the app honestly
