I have never been able to use this app without it crashing. it's absolutely dreadful!
This app get confused to another bank accounts that I did not link so now it's a mess I have expenses that shouldn't be there so now my profit and loss it's all messed up

Paying twice, trying to get a refund for over 3months now. And still can't get it!!!!! Now sent forms I can't complete. I lost all my logged work expenses because your app won't sync with chase bank anymore. keep getting error messages all week long and now it's all gone. very frustrating
used to love this app for my business. recently it's stopped updating with transactions to approve from my bank. making my end of year very difficult
Can anybody recommend an app like this that actually works? This gets more and more expensive while the whole time it has more and more glitches. Loses me more and more money. It quietly fails so I never catch the glitch until I dont have the time to manually fix the hundres of missed transactions or trips. And I would say the customer service sucks but that would imply that they had customer service.

Awful so far. Stops updating my transactions so I have to unlink my account and re-link it which then loses all the transactions older than a month. Quite awkward to accept paying £15 for an accounting software that doesnt work and is going to make my end of year tax return very difficult
Hi QBSE, 2/17/26 - TROUBLE AGAIN W/ELECTRONIC PMTS--Please fix. I KNOW how to turn OFF pmts. I am a TWENTY-PLUS YEAR SUBSCRIBER! Update of 2/17 screwed up AGAIN FIX THIS. App automatically turns them BACK ON when I send the inv to clients! I turn off pmts, save as draft, when I reopen, pmts are BACK ON! I turn off AGAIN, email, and my clients see electronic pmts are turned ON! FIX THIS!!! And the HELP button always says ERROR, so I cannot even chat with QBSE😤😖 for $25 a month this is GARBAGE!
The worst ever! it's a scam they don't track what they promised and try to get you to spend more money.

using QuickBooks for 6 years and I’m officially done. The app is painfully slow, constantly throws “error loading invoices” messages, and regularly takes 10 minutes just to open invoices. What should be a quick weekly task turns into something I dread every single week because of how unreliable and glitchy this app is. For a platform built for businesses, this level of performance is unacceptable. After years of frustration, I’ll be switching to a different app. 6 years was more than enough.
Have just about every customer telling me they never received the invoice QB sent. Constantly sending them through text when I find out they can't find the original email. Payments get stacked up, which in turn can cause an extra delay in receiving the funds. recently found out that they are now charging fees no matter if it's ACH or CC. If a customer pays you through QB, they charge you with every transaction now. every payment you receive will cost you in the end. I'm done invoicing with QB.
at the moment trying to subscribe to QBSE is almost impossible as all my payment methods are not useable in this region which doesnt make sense since im in the uk. its abit frustrating after using it flawlessly for the last 4 years to do my self employed tax
Mileage track acct sync & Google integrations never work! But my autopay function works fine for them to charge me monthly. At first, it tracked miles in Both of my vehicles, then without notice, it stopped in one, then all together. I had to go to google maps and hand copy all of my location timeline from maps to the QB online acct bc it won't allow in app. Google and Intuit are the same company, these integrations should be seamless. Their online directions on how to do this don't work.

does the same thing on the website. so it's a design and program issue not an error in the cache (if you knew your product, you'd know that. get with the game and modify it) I can't tag excluded transactions. it'd be helpful to give a category for excluding. i.e. counted in pos or xyz. the tag button showed up like I could, but the field disappeared so anything in it was deleted, and the icon has nowhere to put it
Absolutely the worst app with the worst customer service! They should be able to receive negative stars.

same as everyone on newest version in reviews. invoicing doesn't work. clearing cache doesn't help.

Never works. Loads to a black screen and just hangs. Inexcusable when you consider we pay to use this service. I shouldn't have to log out and back in, or clear my cache every time I want to use this. Fix it!
This app stopped working and just shows a white screen. I have used this app for more than 8 years. So disappointed. I had to unsubscribe and now i have to find something else.
Falsely advertised - Does not allow to tag or group to categories expenses. Although it looks like it has this option. Subscribed and pay but figured out within 10 min it lackes functions above and canceled. still got charged with no refund. Zero support
after 3 years of pretty good use all the important stuff stopped working I can't duplicate previous invoices and I can't connect my Chase bank account anymore
Neither the online computer or app will work with bank links. Refund of charges for a non operating system are ignored. Help desk close cases they cannot fix. This has been happening for 2 years with no solution.
unable to update phone number in merchant center. foreign customer service is worthless. appears they want to keep your money to accrue interest since you can't update deposit info easily. this product should be investigated by the US Congress. Chat support from merchant center never connects you with an expert. just sits there blank. positive customer service is non existent with this company. Intuit your response to this post shows well you did not read my needs. The number cannot be updated.
I've had the quickbooks app for over 6 years and all of a sudden I can't open the app in my phone. very frustrating
How to cancel subscription!?
Constantly crashes after updates. QBSE has never kept track of federal and state tax payments. I contacted intuit about the issue, Which apparently you can no longer do or I can't find how to speak to a live person, about the fact that my app crashes every single time that I try to open it.
The app does not track my mileage. I have done everything they told me, but this feature is not working. Honestly this app seems overpriced considering that it doesn't do half what I need it to and what they advertised

Still loading blank screen after logging in
since the last update I've been unable to open the app, I've simply been met with a white screen and no login page
I pay for this and it will no longer track my mileage. there is no update for the Android phone. The app is not even working anymore!
Update: one click deleted 4 years of transactions without warning. WHY! Support were unable to help. This is the last straw for me, what a stupid app. Moving to Xero
App always logged out and didn't track mileage. I guess they got rid of the app because it just cancelled
I can no longer upload receipts from my phone to the quikbooks app. En'bad'ification if ever I saw an example.
Not impressed. Lots of problems with the app and it can be tricky to synch to my bank every 3 months. Like many others for at least 6 months I've been unable to upload receipts despite having repeated emails so saying the issue has been resolved! Next tax year I will switch to another company as it's just not fit for purpose.
This app is giving me an "Error" code and unable to locate my invoices. Hours online, in app, and on the phone with Intuit "Tech Support" has left me with zero assistance or resolution! It is horrible business for Intuit to take my money while not providing the service that I pay for!!!
I built my business around QBSE, then it suddenly won't go into my invoices, or customer database - now all I get is "unable to read the current user info", but I can't remove it because, my entire customer database is on the platform, with no way to extract the data, so I'm stuck paying for the app every month and watching the price go up. I expected better from a juggernaut like INTUIT but, in this environment all I can do is watch its value to me become Worthless and Expensive 🫰🏿
New Edit#3: Will not connect to Wealthsimple chequing or credit card accounts. Very very frustrating. Support no help. Just closed ticket without resolution. Not very happy for an app that is this expensive. 1 stars now. Edit: Constantly have to uninstall and reinstall and still get errors logging in. Trying to get auto tracking for mileage to work was a pain. Tried to get help to credit account for month not working but would not.
U can't disable the customers option to pay directly from the bank - 1% fee! This COST A LOT OF MONEY! Rename ur app to "Quickbooks, we help ourselves to ur bank account". I used the toggle switch to turn it off, customers still can pay with that option & you lose 1% of every transaction. These people are crooks. Update: switched to Square. MUCH better app and it's free! Better invoicing: detailed invoice in initial email, esthetically pleasing, user friendly, allows more characters on invoices
