Unacceptable for a paid service, really. Update: After Update, still the same. Insane battery drain and background activity and the most tracking requests right behind Audible. How do you think that is okay???

I'm loving the service but the app is draining my battery to the extreme, even when I'm not listening to music! Yesterday it used a total of 37% of my battery, without even being open! No widgets either! What is going on? Please fix the resource hogging
qobuz stole my money for years since 2024, I tried to get in contact with their customer service for years, but they keep charging me. they are a lying company with zero care for customer service. they are thieves.
this app became so bad so quickly - I have no idea where all these issues started coming from, but it's almost unusable anymore. app can't load songs, even downloaded tracks, to the point that simply clicking back to play the previously played track won't even work. it just tries to load the song for an indefinite amount of time, sometimes never fully loading the song again. some tracks seemingly skip at random for no apparent reason. old tracks/releases i love are removed nearly every wk. sad.
edit: each update makes it worse. i genuinely like the service but the app is borderline unusable at times. I cant search within my library most of the time, the app crashes if i try to queue songs, etc.
Bad Customer Service! I was charged after the free trial but had no access to the subscription. Their AI bot said someone will email me to help. No one contacted me. A couple weeks later I tried again. I finally received an email from someone named Edgar who said I had to send pictures of proof of payment, like screen shots of my cc statement. Then I was told they could not refund me but instead gave me two free months which is not what I was asking for. Spotify sucks too, now I use Tidal.
I love this app- I switched from Spotify and it was extremely easy to transfer my playlists. However, this app drains my batter so fast (on Android). There seems to be some kind of bug where it is constantly running and does not go to sleep, so I have to remember to force quit the app when I am done using it to prevent it from draining my battery. It accounted for 30% of my battery drain by lunch time one day. Once they fix this I would give it 5 stars.
getting charged for a service i can't access. it says i dont have a sub despite paying for it every month. customer service is a chatbot which is very frustrating.
I am a paid subscriber and it locked me out of my account. My account shows that Im not subscribed, but when I try to subscribe, I get a notification that I already am a subscriber, yet I have no access.

just renewed my subscription and now the app is acting like I never did and if offering a free trial and I used the useless ai feature and apparently I can't get a refund because I paid for the subscription through Google play. which is dumb because that's where the app took me when I wanted to pay for it. also the search feature is awful.

Just downloaded the app to an Android Motorola 2024 stylus. Doesn't work. It's frozen on the page "start by following at least three artists" and has an error message "unable to complete operation". I've tried restarting the phone, no luck. My account appears to be working on desktop. Qobuz, please help!! I really want to get off Spotify, but your app literally doesn't work on my phone. I'll update this review if it gets fixed.
will probably be cancelling my subscription as downloaded songs keep undownloading themselves can't listen to my music at all offline which is the whole reason I subscribed
this app is stupid! I was charged through Google for this subscription but I was not allowed to use the service even though I had payed already paid for it. I was told by customer service that the payment didn't register because I paid through Google instead of directly through them and no one wants to give me a refund! Paypal, Google and these people wouldn't give me one because I still am receiving the service even though I can only use the free version and it wants me to pay again to use it.

I'm all for supporting artists with fair pay and not funnelling money towards AI driven attack drones, but when the website says monthly costs start from $16.95, but on the app the only option is $25.95... Unless I missed something in sign up, but that's blatantly false advertising

I think if you're going to buy music from their store it makes sense.. If you can buy music directly from the artists site or even bandcamp or even, that would make sense too. The app itself is OK. Sound quality is like no other platform. However, the user experience is a mess, often glitching out during playback and occasionally loading downloads. The algorithm to start a radio for a song is awful. Creating one's own collection and listening offline is probably the best way to go these days.
Very finicky app. Sometimes when you press a button, it either doesn't work or it sends you to a completely different section. Not to mention the some artists who happen to have similar names have their profiles mixed together. That makes things really inconvenient. And the app abruptly stops playing music sometimes when you go into another app.
When the app works, the sound quality, UI and everything are fine, but more often than not, I get an error code that says "This feature is unavailable" when I play any song, and no playlists or albums or songs work. Closing and reopening the app does not fix the issue, only deleting and reinstalling app solves it temporarily; however the issue inevitably returns. I wanted to like it, I love that they pay artists more than other streaming platforms, but what good does that do when no songs play?
mediocre experience. we wanted to get away from Spotify but Qobuz lacks most of the features that makes Spotify valuable - it doesn't shuffle (seriously, it is 2026, how can you build a music app that doesn't shuffle play), it doesn't keep playing similar music, and, worst for me - if you are outside of cell signal, this stupid app won't play songs that aren't on your favorites list EVEN IF YOU DOWNLOADED THAT PLAYLIST ALREADY.
could you guys make it to where I can Import my liked songs from Spotify? that's the biggest "gatekeeper" from me staying on this app. pleaseeeee
a little expensive for all the errors it has when I'm trying to listen to music. please fix this glitch because it's an issue that happens everyday for me
Great quality, unmatched. For me a HUGE deal breaker is that I've been paying for the last two months and yet I'm not able to use the app. No one answered my claim and I'm still waiting for a response, at least an honest one stating you don't care about your paying customers and we better get Tidal or whatever.
O serviço realmente entrega o que promete, qualidade de som excelente, porém sua política de renovação de assinatura não é justa. Estava no período de teste e não recebi nenhuma comunicação que estava para vencer e que eu seria cobrado o valor da assinatura ANUAL. O pior foi que tentei fazer o cancelamento no mesmo momento que recebi a notificação de cobrança do meu banco e já era, não tem como cancelar e receber o reembolso após ser cobrado.
I would like to express my insatisfaction beyond the worst download way on this app. It takes along time loading a song or variety of playlists. Then just downloaded one per time, it might be like Spotify who we can load several at the same time and also when I'm listening songs, it pause or the app stoping even it's nothing happen on the device. Please take some really good attitude upon this situation.
I want to love qobuz, I even have the subscription but its horrible to use. I wanted an alternative to spotify. It wont allow me to switch songs about 50% of the time even if I click on it over and over. It won't play my downloaded music, and even when im in service the music will pause and start repeatedly. Anything less than 5g with full bars leaves me unable to listen to anything. Recommended music isnt great half of the time. Music quality is good.
Would love to get a sleep timer function added, also a way to connect to my speakers would be great too. edit to add: tracks constantly becoming "unavailable" is another even more frustrating issue. I pay more than what Spotify offered for better quality AND library. this is getting ridiculous. down from 4 Star to 3 Star until these problems get resolved. new edit: 4/29/26 there are even more songs becoming unavailable in my playlist.

Fantastic audio quality and that's where the positives stop. Search function is lacking accuracy, typing in the name of a band or song exactly isn't guaranteed to be the first result, if at all. I could never get auto play to kick in. When an album or song finishes it's a 50/50 chance on if the app will continue to play anything or if it will play a song of a completely different genre. Needs a lot of polish but they're almost there.
Needs better offline capabilities. I want to support this app, but nothing loads right or effectively. It chews through my mobile data, despite everything being downloaded.
App and sevice by itself work flawless. Also the connection to my Denon/Marantz AVR works the same like Spotify connect, great job. But why this absolutely bad music recommendations? I listen to Rock, Indie, Alternative, Electronic and some other Stuff. My Daily mix is full with american charts artists like Tailor Swift. Super Bad to experience to find new music I like...please fix that.
I really like the song radio /similar feature, Qubuz doesn't have this
