I tried multiple times to scan one QR code with no luck. For other codes it seems to work. WHY?!?!?

In an age where more and more QR codes are being used, TrendMicro no longer updates this app. Strange.
cannot advise but scan inh the windows 11 phone link qr code does not do anything. it's supposed to pair my phone but does not.
I got hacked, when it said that it was safe 😡
