Please remove the log out /update message. I will NEVER be logged into my bank and open ANY google app at the same time. Google cannot be trusted!
trying to speak to someone or even a virtual assistant is next to Impossible you guys are utterly ridiculous
this banking app sucks, doesnt let me have access to my own money because its having "technical difficulties", I wouldnt recommend this app, the way its run isnt professional at all.

Would be good for holding money...If it would let me do anything with my money. The app is buggy and since the maintenance on the weekend I haven't been able to touch my account! Not even a dollar! Virtual card is not working nor is it showing an option to manage it, leaving me without a way to use online purchases! and who knows why my interact isn't working, AND THERE WAS NO EMAILS INFORMING ME OF A SHUT DOWN OR FREEZE OF MY ACCOUNT. ANDDD your Calling services are slow and dont help at ALL
rbc is a horrible bank to deal with , they will almost purposely bounce your payments over pennies , they hold your funds, app crashes often . and customer service is horrible .

horrible, you lied, open account in less than 10 minutes. B.S. you have to go to branch to open account plus you have to make an appointment!
This is just my opinion but if there was a dark mode or custom themes in the app it would be SO MUCH better.

A terrible app and have lowered rating pending RBC fixing App. Doesn't fit properly on S25 screen, cant do a etransfer and reinstalling app doesn’t resolve issues. RBC customer service are very responsive but have been unable to help. Was told changing sceen to English (CA) was the known fix, sadly it is/was not. I have reached but received no corrective action. Guessing little, to no, quality controls.
it use to accept fingerprint access and has disabled it. Why? now It won't let me reset anything and has locked my accounts
Trying to search for gas station transactions for my taxes, does not work in the app or desktop version! app shows no results for all of 2025, and desktop says they are having technical problems (I remember it also said this last year and they still haven't fixed this issue!) This is really not acceptable for such an established bank to have such poor functionality, and it also affects me personally as I am trying to calculate my tax deductions and cannot do so due to this poor technology!

After spending 3 hours speaking to support and verifying I have linked my RBC US and RBC Canada accounts, I still can't display my RBC US accounts in the app. I repeatedly get "Sorry, we're having technical difficulties, try again later." it's been that way for months.
Two factor authentication on trusted devices is broken. Pretty much every time I open the app on my phone, which is my trusted device for 2 factor authentication, it sends a message to itself, and I must then go through the SMS flow, which is inherently insecure. 2 factor authentication should normally only apply when trying to access your account on a non-trusted device, that's what trusted device means...
cannot transfer MY FUNDS because my phone has USB debugging. THIS MY JOB - developer - ALLO. criss un deuxième téléphone juste pour rbc! While the app seems ok working (few css bugs though) I don't recommend it as it super cumbersome due to security features all over the place, I don't have that on ANY other apps, CA or Europe. Like I have to constantly to a 3d scan of my face to move funds, just over 1000$ is too much to handle for this little app. The reply is not relevant. It's latest update

over the past two days, the App is sending out payments twice, this is a serious issue for me.
honestly awful experience since using this app. MFA on through the app, and it's buggy so can't sign in on pc. trust this device option always fails since it's automated photo comparison.
suddenly informed that my device is no longer compatible after almost 3yrs of use WHY!!!!!
This app is junk. No more, no less. Takes more than 10 attempts to register the phone for bank access. Every time registration fails and can't recognize face or documents. Such a shame for developers and frustrating for customers. Maybe it's time to choose another bank with better registration algorithm? One star is too much. App clearly deserves ZERO.
Recent updates have corrected previous issues, does exactly what I need. Update: Please stop banning users on Graphene OS. You can use standard Android attestation API to validate user hardware, etc.
FIX IT - There's too many glitches. Can never do a filter search. It's always giving "no results" even a basic filter search with just dates.

brutally bad. dont even try to buy or sell stocks. software glitches non stop. firstly. app kicks you out always. cant turn that function off. 2ndly. wont execute buy or sells when you tell it too, quite frequently, causing lots ot losses that would have otherwise been profitable. Seconds do count in trading! Moving my entire porfolio to quest trade. I already called and complained about the anomalies. Lady on phone assured me many times that it wasn't the software lol...

not working
android phones are at serious risk due to Samsung wallet/pass. now Samsung wallet/pass allows input of passwords by typing in phone password no longer requiring touch ID or retinal scans. beware users!! strange pop ups have been coming up when I sign into the rbc app. a blue and white logo stating that the device I've been using for over 2 years now is apparently a trusted device. I've not been using some strange phone for the past umpteen years so what's the sudden change?! rbc app sucks
chq deposit is impossible, keeps rejecting images & when it does finally capture the image..it rejects on grounds of the image being "unacceptable, the reasons or Hassel regarding this range from too dark to too bright which is bogus given how clear & legible the image is...RBC is lagging their competitors big time, I've already wasted 2hrs on this stupid app when I should be able to upload images on my phone. and if they refuse on basis of not having the physical chq then e-commerce is sol.

For the largest bank in Canada by marketcap, this is an embarrassing app to have customers use. Where do I even start: 1) App often down for maintenance as others have pointed out (how come other banks don't have this issue!?) How can it be so unreliable in 2026 RBC!? 2) Web UI dated, depending on where you click, might uncover the "pig under the lipstick" (archaic system pops up from under the UI skin (try to look for statements) 3) Lacks details in transactions, must decipher what went where

Used to work but for whatever reason the ram requirements are big now and it no longer works on my phone. AND the only way to transfer more than 1,500 dollars daily is to verify WITH this mobile app, unfortunately. Didn't need an upgrade so big that it excluded their less wealthy clients.
