I can't afford one dime so therefore erase my name and goodbye. I cannot afford to spend money monthly for a plan. are you kidding me?.
App is hidden behind a paywall with no insights as to what to expect or trial period. After subscribing to see what it was about, I was met with a confusing interface where I had to put in my schedule. I immediately decided it was not for me and asked for a refund. 4 days later and no response. Not how I would do business but hope you enjoy my hard earned $25
App constantly crashes won't get past step two how can we cancel subscription with broken app website doesn't even work seems like a scam.
I paid the annual subscription, and the developer never "acknowledged" it within the app, so I was locked out of the account. Didn't receive a refund. Then I tried it in the online version, and you had to pay additionally for Whole30. 100% scam, don't waste your money.
The Plant Based Whole 30 recipes were nonsense. Clearly no one at Real Plans actually made these recipes. Also the Instacart integration was a total fail. Only half of the items actually ended up in the cart and multiples didn't cross over. So you might have 5 recipes that cashed for an onion but only 1 onion ended up in the cart. And now I can't cancel the subscription.

The planner page gets stuck and won't close the page or go back. Cancel my 10 day subscription as of December 30, 2022.The page just freezes which is super annoying. It requires restarting my phone to get off of the page.
I was really excited to find this online and read about it! I came here to purchase and immediately saw all the terrible customer service reviews. Especially for such an expensive app, to have so many glitches mentioned and not helping your customers who try to cancel? No thanks! I'm a nurse and specialize in nutrition and diets, especially autoimmune, I WILL make sure to have patients read these reviews and take off my list of recommendations.
No free plan
This app is not all its cracked up to be. AIP recipes are not necessarily AIP. There is no ability to customize recipes or filter out foods/ingredients I don't like. There weren't really many AIP recipes and once you get in you they try to sell you additional AIP recipe packs at an ADDITIONAL $1-$5/month. It says you can cancel within 10 days, but when I cancelled same day I bought it, it said my cancelation was effective in 30 days. I wrote customer service to cancel. We'll see what they say
Not downloaded
You have to pay a monthly subscription
No free plan.
Wish there was a free version
Downloaded assuming it was free with a separate membership with bonus features.
few AIP recipes
You have to sign up for a plan.
Costs to use
Charged me after canceling
Recipes aren't very good or creative
Keeps telling me to update, refuses to log in
I thought it was supposed to help me with whole 30 but I don't see that as an option
You'll spend more time waiting for the app to load than if you figure everthing out yourself. I was very frustrated and disappointed.
The price wasn't avaliable until you've downloading and submitted your information. It's 19.99 a month.
They advertise a low-FODMAP diet, but do not actually offer one. my first menu was full of ingredients that are not compatible with a low- FODMAP diet and I cancelled immediately.
Has anyone else had trouble with registering and has it told you that your name is invalid
They give you a free trial and if you forget by one day, they make you pay for multiple months.
It asks for money as soon as u login in. No chance to try it out..
Disappointed. Should have at least a free trial or something. No one wants to start paying for an app right off the bat without knowing what they're paying for. I'm sure it's a great app, but I guess I won't ever know because I won't subscribe to something blindly.
It would be nice if the cancel subscription button actually worked instead of saying failure every time you try to cancel.
I don't like that you have to commit to a plan first.. I would like to see the app before I put any bank details in. I need to know if you can choose ingredients such as onion, garlic, prawns, avocado, salmon, soya etc that are the be excluded from the recipes and only meals without these ingredients are suggested? Maybe a free trial before the payment plan page would be a good idea.
Keeps crashing, haven't been able to use at all yet.
Excited about this app for the Nom Nom Paleo addition, but the all kept crashing. Went with the Yumly app and pleased with it.
Must subscription! Why no free trial?
If you have food allergies, don't download or purchase this app. I really think that I should get a refund, this app is not going to fit my needs and I haven't used it since purchasing and downloading it. I basically threw away $30.
I cancelled my subscription months ago through Google Play Subscription management but there is still money coming out of my account every month.
Worst experience. Terrible customer service! They were rude and wouldn't resolve the issue. They don't seem to care about the customer at all. Buyer beware!
This app has been frustrating. It does not consider item usage when planning your meals. So you may have to buy a bunch of spinach and only use a portion for one recipe. It would be more cost-effective and reduce food waste if the app would suggest another recipe with spinach for later in the week. I spent so much money the first week and had so many partial food items left over. I felt it was not a helpful app, so I cancled it with 3 weeks paid for remaining, but now the app doesn't work at all
I've had several glitches where it just won't load. gets stuck on a page. I can select recipes but I can't view them to read how or what's in it, but it'll come the shopping list. not worth the price
Not a good candidate app for FODMAP specific experience. I bought an annual subscription for this as everything is gated behind a subscription, then found out that if I wanted FODMAP specific recipes in my subscription, I had to pay twice the price! Who thought of this? My FODMAP restrictive diet won't allow me to try like 80% of anything that's outside that diet that contains onion, garlic, wheat or lactose. So double the price for half the recipes I can eat. No thank you :)
Please note that there is a price difference if you purchase plans through the app it is more than the website.
So far, I'm not super pleased. Granted, there are A LOT of options for recipes, but I've had more frustration with scheduling than anything else. I try to change settings, but it seems to continuously pull from older settings making my new settings not function. Also, when I edited a recipe ingredient (b/c that is an option) it put that recipe for the rest of the week automatically when there had been a variety before. I'd love it if the app had a total reset function.
Glitchy but improving. Cancelling because $9 a month to $14 to $18 is not a pattern I want to continue, not with so many meal planning apps. I liked this one but it's cost-prohibitive at this point.
Do not purchase! This app would be great if it worked! I have filtered for Whole30 recipes only and it will still populate recipes from other programs. I have selected recipes to favorites 2 separate times and they don't save. I have now tried canceling the subscription and it won't allow me, it keeps coming back as "failure" to cancel. Too bad it would have been convenient but the $27/month fee is outrageous for it even if it did work, which it doesn't!!
Several glitches that make this annoying. 1. The recipes claim to be AIP, for example, but include ingredients that are not AIP such as sugar. 2. I can't click on the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, so there's no way to get from the search feature to the menu feature without first adding a meal to the menu. 3. Once I set my menu, I wanted to view it. None of the meals I'd planned where on the menu. Instead, some sample menu was already planned and added to my shopping list. Not worth it!
This app could be so much better but it is strangely difficult to navigate and there doesn't seem to be a way to print recipes. That's pretty lousy for a paid service.
Needs a $13/month subscription, but doesn't tell you until after you've downloaded the app and made an account.
Keeps asking me to update the app but update isn't an available option on the store page. So now i can't see my recipes for the week
08-12-21 Has the potential the be the best diet meal planning app EVER. Needs minor tweaks. CONS -Does allow you to combine diet styles together such as Gluten-Free and Keto/Low Carb. Or possibly Keto and Paleo. Allows you only 1 choice. -Makes you manually plan your current week, but will auto-plan your next. Needs a button to execute and auto-plan feature to take advantage of letting the software do the work rather than manually searching an planning. -No way to export info or print
I like this service a lot on a laptop/desktop, but I do want to use the shopping list on my phone. I'm one of those weirdos who doesn't want to constantly have data on (it's cheaper for me to NOT have an unlimited plan). I pull up my list and it's there, but the behavior is wonky. 1. If I scroll up too high to see the top of the list (easy to do) it tries to refresh and then the screen freezes. I have to close the app, turn on my data, and restart the app. 2. Apparently I'm at my word limit.
