don't tell you in advance that the app actually cost $20
Including taxes, I paid 21.39 for this app, thinking I could send recipes from my PC to my Alexa devices. When I clicked sharing, it said that is only available with the pro version. But, after updating the app on my phone, it said I need to pay again for the PC version. I'm not falling for that again. I would not recommend this app. It is very deceiving in my opinion.
I want a refund. The app does not match my expectation.
20 recipe max before payment
once bought on one phone and downloaded on another phone you cannot log in and sync recipes with password on the new phone without being directed to buy the product again on the new phone it will not let me log in without buying products once more waste of money maybe I can log into old phone and sync from there but it is partly broken and what kind of app does not have a regular log in on the app with password
The app itself is great. But when you try to sign into YOUR account that you PAID for. You can't it requires you to pay ANOTHER $20. If I already paid for an account, I am sure as heck not paying for Another because I got a new phone, or I want to sync it to my Chromebook. When I have Contacted their support both times, I got a single reply and then crickets. No help. Wasted money, because now all of my recipes are gone.
I have been using this app for a number of months now and was very happy with it. It seemed to have a bit of a problem with fractions at times, inserting incorrect ones or leaving them out but as long as I checked ingredients before saving it was fine until today! It looks like AI has suddenly taken over. Found whole paragraphs were missing from the recipe. When I checked and tried to retype in the right words they would suddenly disappear and new words would appear in their place. Unusable now
Their website talks about cross platform all over the place and syncing your recipes across all your platforms. Nowhere does it state you have to purchase the pro app across all platforms. I wouldn't have purchased it if I had known that wasn't true.
money taken, no login provided and no contact.
My wife uses this app all the time and it sync's up with my smartphone so we don't loose any recipes if her laptop ever dies. However, I'm writing this to get help with the app my wife uses on her Chromebook because it won't print anymore. I can't figure out why. Normally if my wife has problems with any technology she comes to me and I fix it. I've never been stumped, but now I am. The rating will go up if we get it working again. In the past it has worked fine, what happened?
tried to import recipe from website and it doesn't automatically add the ingredients to the ingredients tab you have to do that yourself before saving. I mean if I'm going to do all that I may as well write it on an index card the way my grandma did
App is good, but upgrading to Pro has to be done (purchased) on every platform if you want to sync across platforms. I don't mind purchasing, but if it says it works everywhere, that should be reflected in one price.
my recipes are gone. I paid for pro more than a year ago and my recipes are gone, there's no account and I can't reset the password. update: reached out to customer support and they were useless and basically blamed me. They failed to address the actual issue and told me that I should hope I had a back up. I'll be requesting a refund from the playstore if this isn't fixed.

It seems like an okay app but the "sign in" option doesn't work...it does the same action as "Sign up for an account" which isn't helpful.
I am Recipe Keeper's biggest fan. No, really. I absolutely love this app. I have used it on Windows, iOS phone, Android phone, Chromebook. Ok, so it doesn't use the standard method to charge, but I have happily paid for a few accounts because I love it. And I would far rather this business model than subscription. However, I have issues with it loading on some devices, presumably one of my databases is now too large. The biggest issue for me is the Chromebook UI: only 4 courses at a time.
wish you didn't have to export to sync
I purchased this app years ago and used it in my phone and laptop however it will now not let me log into it with my laptop and continues to ask me to buy the app. in order to log in which I already have! I've lowered my trading does to this as I not be forced to buy something I've already purchased!
