app and website kept timing out

Really silly setup when trying to book a campsite. After all these years, they have never figured it out.

Absolutely unnecessary and a total waste of time. "Pay your fees by using the app while you're at the trailhead with no service!" BA is a total waste of taxpayer money. This is a scam.

The rapacity of this site is appalling.

Corporate greed at it's finest. can't believe we have to pay fees that are up to 100% of the camping or permit cost itself to use this Booz Allen Hamilton owned app. the fees should be WAY LOWER and you should still be able to mail in your permit requests. I can't believe our governments were bamboozled into this.

I love the campsites but the price and the restrictions need to be revised. I booked 14 days in May in April and then tried to book just 2 days as a dry run that next weekend .. it would not let me as there is a 14 day max in a 30 day period. So I had to book it in someone else's name just dumb rules that control people and the price used to be $14 a day just 10 years ago now it's $24 crazy cuz their cost hasn't gone up - their gate keepers get to stay in exchange for working last I heard s

Recreation.gov support through the app in THE WORST. They don't do anything to actually help. They couldn't refund me when someone stole my campsite, instead they sent a refund request to the campground manager. After I talked to a ranger I decided to cancel my refund request, but Recreation.gov is unable to do that either. Absolutely useless.
