i would rate it higher but it has some low grade bugs like it just locked my account for some activity in my account asking me to redo my password but the message didn't work neither did going into the settings to redo my password would work either it wouldn't let me go reset my password account still locked and doesn't seem reddit is getting any better
bro my reddit account got permanently banned for no reason,I done nothing wrong,
Comment jump button is not there AT ALL on locked posts! But I download an older version of the app and it's there. Fix IMMEDIATELY!! Because even if I download an older version of the app it auto updates even when I have all those settings turned off, it's super frustrating every time I have to delete the app and download an older version my entire view history is deleted.
can't log into my account. have reset my password and everything. buggy ASF.
still worse in almost every way than the old apps.
Typical garbage app. Every time it starts to work normally, they break it. Now it loads up without finding any posts and to manually select latest, etc. Then half the time it only loads like 4 posts and if you refresh it finds nothing. Would give negative stars if I could.
What’s wrong with this app? Automatically logged out from the app. Then I try to log in but it shows error.I can use my account on browser but whenever I try to use the app, I can't log in.Update, reinstall, clear data nothing help. Fix your app.
What kind of platform administration tells you that you violated a rule, then mocks you for asking which vague rule was violated and what was done to break it in the first place so you avoid doing it again? All while continuing to silently enforce a punishment on your account that you cannot even see that gaslights other users into hating you.
absolute and utter disgust for some reason I can't message anyone or comment on anything despite the fact that it does not state that my account has an issue I can't even message for help And on top of that when I try to post something even something that's not NSFW it blocks it saying that it's a violation and quite frankly and honestly the admins and creators of the app and all are useless when it comes to getting anything done or fixed
swipe to delete notifications is the dumbest UI choice imaginable for a touch screen device.
video player on this app is absolutely terrible. Always compressed videos, audio is low quality and usually not synced. They finally integrated YouTube videos to play in the app, and you can't even rotate to horizontal viewing. what. a. joke.
terrible app. cant even upload anymore. account screen just gives an error and even if you do upload, it disappears and you cant delete or find it. app sucks, use X instead
I tried doing the age verification selife and it doesn't work like I'm 18+ and why just now it doesn't let me access.
Reddit is no longer the place. I've gotten two warnings now on my account for the stupidest reasons. RIP reddit, it used to be a great platform then the thought police infiltrated them.
Removed r/all option with latest update
The Reddit app is a mess, full of terrible and unwanted features. Reddit itself is an ever more awful place, full of bots and bad-faith actors.
Reddit is now staunchly anti consumer. Recently changed to not allow any browsing in app without signing into an account. Mobile browser version eventually locks the site and requires sign in to continue. If you truly want to use this site, activate desktop mode in mobile browser and make sure you use adblock. Enjoy before they lock down completely.
nice
why is this app copying data from the clipboard?
cannot access certain topics/communities. reddit just block it even I use vpn. so the problem is not the vpn, but the reddit itself. uninstall
still buggy and terrible. Can't even copy message text from inbox. Awful. This app is incredibly buggy. "FieldError(field=richtext_json, message=This submission contains media types that aren't...)" errors.
privacy issues. it scrapes data from your clipboard. what a joke.
no longer opens photos or shows gifs in comments for me
Tyrants
tfw when you create an app that so god awful i dont even have to install it for it to make my life worse
Unusable - you'll come across 1 of 2 things upon entering a subreddit... Either a policy: "must be about 1000 karma to interact" or liberal bubbles where you cannot express yourself without being down voted and deleted by a moderator which doesn't help your karma at all. Such a bad, abused system for an app.
I will never use the Reddit app, and it is only an insult that the mobile browser has been crippled with forced, unexitable, notifications to this page.
Edit: Meh I'm out re id req, media 💀 2026
Why did Reddit remove /r/all?
I am now forced to use this app because I can't access reddit in the browser anymore. The app is CLEARLY worse than some of the 3rd party apps that were available for free before. Also there are ads everywhere.
A really nice app
I'm reddit user from past 2 years and it's pretty amazing app. i love helping people buy good and efficient thing and love to share my knowledge but the thing is reddit don't want me to share anything with people in need. I made my first account on reddit and used it for like a year and somehow reddit shadow banned my account without giving any reason. I was so confused because i didn't do anything suspicious.I managed to appeal few times for my account recovery but reddit ignored.
I have been logged out of my account out of nowhere, for no reason, and I can't log back in no matter what I do. I don't know what's going on, and there's no information on why this bug is happening. I can't use Reddit until this gets fixed.
needed the app to post pictures in comments, but the overall design is much worse than the website.
terrible on tablets
I don't know how to use it
