Funciona objetivamente mal. Si compras un abono te aparecen tienes que a los que no tienes permiso y luego da error, hay horarios incorrectos, a veces los pagos no funcionan... puede ir mucho mejor
absoluta hez de app y pasan los años y no mejoran nada. usable a veces, inútil la mayor parte del tiempo. no deja reservar viajes visibles, no deja escanear códigos QR, a veces incluso se niega a mostrar horarios!

this app doesn't accept phone numbers from other countries
4 times out of 5 I try to buy a ticket with this app, there is a mysterious error. It seems to be out of sync with the servers machines at train stations are. Also, the UX i terrible with letters too small to read, buttons not reacting, user settings not saved. Renfe users and Spanish taxpayers deserve better. Look at Swiss SBB apps if you are looking for a good benchmark.

It was impossible to create an account: it does not accept any non-spanish phone number as far as I can tell (despite claiming to do so). putting in a fake Spanish phone number, then rejected my email address as invalid (it has a + in it), tried with another email address to get a "Ooops! Looks like something is wrong here!" Very disappointed to see what are basic validation implementation issues.

This is a horrific app. You can't register to buy a ticket as every mobile format is incorrect apparently. Whoever designed, quality checked and released this should be embarrassed for this size of business

Worst app ever encountered, laborious and slow! Won't accept non Spanish mobile numbers in a mandatory field, format error.....won't connect to banking app, had to enter card details multiple times and still didn't work, gave up in the end! Embarrassingly bad for a national railway company!

will not accept us telephone numbers. can I use +1 United States or Canada or Guam or Mariana Islands or any other thing where it would use +1. cannot apply any discounts. selecting a date on the calendar actually returns the prior day. have to select future dates to get the dates you want.
Cant order tickets as it doesn't accept any UK mobile phone number. validation needs an overhaul or get rid of the requirement. it works on the web site. app is fairly pointless otherwise.

DOES NOT WORK. This app is useless. For registration, it refuses to accept a phone number, even after endlessly trying an infinite number of feasible formats. "INCORRECT FORMAT" no matter what. Absolutely useless app.

Pesima. Supongo que quien la desarrolla/mantiene no viaja en los trenes de renfe. Su funcionamiento incluso contraviene los terminos y condiciones que la propia Renfe publica en su web. El viajero queda al servicio del funcionamiento de la app y no la app al servicio del viajero.
Imposible realizar pagos a través del app. Da fallo constantemente. Con lo cual, imposible cambiar mi billete. Tendré que coger el coche e ir a la estación en persona.

First, I don't post reviews on apps. But this app is unacceptably buggy, and therefore useless. It will not allow me to enter my USA phone number, it says "incorrect format" regardless of how it is entered. The scheduling portion of the app always sets the date back a day from what I select, and then I cannot purchase a ticket because it rejects my phone number (as I already mentioned). Does this app represent the national train service for Spain?
Scanning tickets in the app finds departure station as incorrect, which makes usage of this app totally useless. Calling support at Renfe confirmed the problem, and advised on usage of printed in paper tickets. Welcome back to 20th century

This is full of bugs just like there website is. Its beyond horrible what it take to book a ticket, and still not be able to!
Pasan los años y sigue siendo la peor app de cualquier compañía de transporte que yo conozca. Y viajo mucho. Renfe consigue que su app tenga incompatibilidades que NINGUNA otra app da jamás y haga errores siempre nuevos y al borde de lo increíble. Pero... ¿quién programa esta basura?

¡MADRE MIA! First of all. To buy a single ticket you need to get all the information as if you were trying to fly out of Schengen. It's slow, difficult to navigate and doesn't remember your choices. I was 20 minutes early at the train station. No chance to buy a ticket. You first need a registration which needs your ID. that's okay, but while trying my ID card from a European country it didn't want to accept it. Then it got stuck 2 times on payment. It's easier to start a rocket to the moon.
