Refused to refund even though they booked me the incorrect vehicle. I didn't use their service but they still charged me £400 If you live in the UK and thinking of using Rentcars, I would suggest not to use them. They're based abroad and do not have a UK contact number. I tried to get hold of them and was left with a hefty mobile bill . Their customer service is a joke. They take ages to reply to emails and even their response to emails are extremely unprofessional
customer service is unprofessional.. They replay you after 30min to 1h. I just canceled my trip and refund process going on for two weeks.. they even don't respond to emails..
This app is completely unprofessional.. customer care, reply to your response after an hour.. I was tied to contact them.. Refund is processing for two weeks and too much slow.. I don't recommend
Aluguei um carro pela foco em guarulhos, e zero instruções são dadas sobre ter que ir pro terminal rodoviário pra pegar o transfer pra loja deles. Uma coisa tão simples e recorrente como adiar a devolução do carro, não é possível fazer pelo app/site. Além disso, a assistência é um labirinto de telas com respostas genéricas e loop te mandando de volta pra página de reservas que não te deixa alterar nada. Eles se propõem como uma plataforma pra facilitar, mas só complicam as coisas.
Há um bug na escolha do país de residência. Estou tentando fazer uma reserva há dois dias e não consigo passar daí. Vocês não testam a atualização antes de lançar?
All reservation attempts resulted in companies that didn't have available cars or that just were looking for excuses to cancel and there were "no refund" policies even when it was the rental company's fault. I made a reservation 3 MONTHS AGO and when I arrived to my destination the company told me that rent cars was the one that over-sold the cars and didn't confirm the reservation so there was no car available.

I have been scammed and stolen by this app. How can I report this to Google??? I will have to file a legal action against this company. Beware. Watch out!!!
Scam, don't bother to install. Still waiting for a refund I'll never see. Contacted them, followed their email instructions. They waited until I told them to cacell my rental to draw funds from my card never heard from them again. AVOID THIS!

Telling me I would have to pay more because I was waiting to hear back from the local branch about availability. Don't post cars that are not available, simple.clickbait
They sell car rentals in lower prices where the insurance is not acknowledged by the original car owner, e.g. Hertz. For instance, in Cancun you won't touch any car unless you paid an additional insurance of > 3x of what you already paid or > 2k deposit. Then you will be responded by a noticeable bot chat, claims to the small letter of the contract and in the best case scenario you would be refunded an small fraction of what you paid, not to mention the stress and time wasted. Stay away!
Had to update app, can't search with different pick up and drop off point, keeps losing the one point as soon as I put in the next one, frustrating!
Renting a car with this people will be a scam. If you see got to rent a car in Cancun you will see how the real provider will ask you way more money for you to get the car you have already paid for. And I am not talking about pennies: 2 days of rental cost more than 2k of deposit of you don't want to buy their rental. It doesn't matter you paid the RentCars insurance, this company will answer you with chatbots and retoric-screw-you answers.

Se lavan las manos cuando hay una queja o cancelacion. Servicio al cliente tienes que llamar a telefono de Curitiba, Brasil. Demoraron mas de un mes en hacer un reembolso y ademas se quedaron con parte del dinero que fue pagado con anticipacion. Mal por mi, no hacer caso de la malisima calificacion que tienen, se aprende a los golpes dicen...

As condições e termos da contratação induzem ao erro, por exemplo, o motorista adicional no plano de seguro completo. Péssima experiência e péssimo atendimento da central de atendimento. Nunca mais utilizo a Rentcars.
I've been trying to get through to get a refund form over 24 hrs now and the only contact they have is email.
Some reason why the restrictions may not includes 16 year old by chance on the market makes me more disappointed on the expensive cars right now 😪
7 seater are not available anytime
Am not able to cancel my booking, I sent 3 emails with no reply as well the cancelation option isn't available on the account it self. Reply to your msg. Please note I have dropped 3 different emails and forward the cancelation email from Eras rent cars and still no reply from your company.

Doesn't work.
Reservei um carro com proteção. Chegando na locadora, não tinha proteção. Para me fornececer proteção, a locadora pediu quase o dobro do preço. Cancelei a reserva e aluguei em outra locadora sem intermédio da Rentcars.

I suggest you DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. The rental company charged more at the time of rental. I did not accept it. The service was not provided. After many unsuccessful calls and in the last one waiting more than 50 minutes to be answered and once again the attendant call stopped, I can only come here and open the eyes of other consumers. I don't know how to solve it. I already believe that I lost my money. The person who I spoke was polite but it's not enough, I still don't have my money.
