With Revolut, it is easy to become a victim of fraud. Fortunately, there are plenty of real banks that actually protect their customers, so there is no reason to take the risk with this one. If you want your money to be secure, go to a real bank. With Revolut, it's easy to lose your money.
Spare Change literally stole my Money
The most complicated setup ever. Requires documents that other apps (like Wise) don't need. The AI chat bot told me to do things and the human chat agent said it was not correct. Don't water your time -- use Wise.
Whenever Im going to take a pic of ID says there's an error
They don't tell you that if you close your account, they have to keep your data for 6 years. This includes your social security number.

customer service is horrendous, after a couple of years on revolut with no issues i am higly disappointed with the way they try to resolve issues with errors on their end, its like they speak from a script and continue in a loop 🤦♂️ avoid this app
crashes frequently
Tells me I have to provide more info. The email was most disappointing since it sounded like it was acting as if I was applying for a credit card. It didn't need tons of stuff.. Why would you guys list such excess information in the email. Clearly don't have their emails customized to match their users then. Ask for required info at the start instead of nuking my trust with a bad email. What's worse is It made it so I can no longer get a free trial, which I wanted to get today.
I downloaded it to try and open an account and it gets to the ID scanning page and then goes all stop motion jank. Impossible to scan my ID, impossible to get it to work. My (only 6 month old) phone stopped being able to charge minutes after this (hopefully just a coincidence) so I got a new phone and the same thing is happening. Useless app!
Avoid at all costs!!!! There are hidden fees and this bank is not transparent. Before I did a withdrawal I check the fee in the app and it clearly shown 1€. In reality I paid a 4€ fee without any warning (it wasn't even shown on the ATM). THEY ARE MISLEADING PEOPLE to earn a couple of €. Not a safe bank, I'm searching for a new one 👋🏻

Many people advertise this type of bank account, but unfortunately, after you pay from your bank account and pay the money to Revolut, they have access to your account because you have provided a photo of your bank card. They withdraw money from your account without permission. It happened to me. Don't accept it, like it happened to you.

Even more so as you must pay a fee for such customisations yet are still restricted. Allow art to lie to spread truth.
