There is a long delay of multiple minutes before receiving a notification, if one is received at all. I've done all the usual troubleshooting. Videos are being recorded, so the issue is with the app. This must be fixed for this to be used as a security solution.

Ring actively suppresses reporting of illegal activity, you should look elsewhere and not give them your money.

took 24/7 recording from my pro plan and I stopped getting phone call when my alarm goes off.
doesn't record when needed. doesn't allow to review when significant events occur. kind a pointless at this point not sure why I pay for subscription.

Ring is scam!!! I gave them money and they never sent my stuff. Now they want me to go through the hassle of shopping for a new one on their site.
I absolutely, positively DO NOT WANT THIS!!!
just use chrome to sign in. App doesn't work right. live won't pop up and not giving out the notifications.

23Jun26 Update: Still cannot use entire FoV for motion alerts. Missing the top ⅓ of the view in the motion zone setup. XXX SSOOO tired of getting false motion alerts on my Doorbell Cam EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP! Lot of good it does to have a security camera app that you cannot allow to make notifications because of all the continuous false alerts.
Raised their prices on me after I went all in on ring gear. I should have put together my own camera/security system and you should, too. Avoid.

If you don't pay for the monthly service which keeps going up almost every month, the cameras are completely useless. Live feed is extremely delayed and the alerts will be going off nonstop. If a bug or anything goes by except people. Your alerts will go off and this is done until you pay for their monthly service. For a company that's high on safety, this is strong arming people for sure. Better off getting cameras and setting them up with no monthly vig.
I'm not crazy about it. Because it repeatedly doesn't recognize me, nor my neighbors!(& not their property)!!

One of our cameras that runs on battery with a solar panel is in the black saying it needs a battery and has been down for days but just a bit ago it started to work again but that only lasted like an hour and now it's back in black. Yes I'm Back In Black OWWW!!!
unreliable- when i open the app it often forces me to update before i can use it..by that time i can't see who was just at my door ! i gave 2 stars for when it's on (using up all my battery on my Samsung ultra) .. it works well.
seems like I need to update app, but says my phone doesn't have enough space/memory, so I started deleting about 4 apps and still not enough space. how much space is needed! 🤔
