Even with long online search it is impossible to create an account as for all their processes, at some point a broken URL or redirect is necessary. Wanted to get lunch in Bristol but it turned out to be impossible to park anywhere as all the physical machines only accept coins. We probably won't come back again.

I understand you’ll probably just tell me that’s how it is and that’s all RingGo can do, but I believe you should make the effort to provide a better service to the customers who support RingGo and

Worse app ever do not use this app, twice now I have had parking tickets with this app. I will never use this app again, the numbers on the machines to put in are wrong or change. Now had 2 parking tickets.. Useless app.

20p minimum fee to park, have to register, probably uses your data for nefarious means.
I'd like to say that it's very easy to use, but I'd be lying. After many attempts of it not accepting data or challenging things, I was allowed to delete my account. Except that it obviously hadn't been deleted as I still couldn't use my mobile number from an alternative source. I'm hoping I can now avoid paying a parking bill tomorrow... 😠

very poor app, used at a car park that had no signal to download app, tried to create an account but wouldn't send a verify code, may of been that I used the app years ago? had to follow forget password link, asked me to enter my reg number which it didn't recognise but it's the only vehicle I have had for over ten years. had to delete original account then create new. created new but no verification code as it doesn't take phone format +44 must be 07 but doesn't state that. and more...
had no option vut to register tried to register but no verification code came through despite trying numerous times and waiting 15 minutes. absolute joke
I used this application years ago for a car I used to drive and a phone that is long gone. Tried to install the app again and they will ask me to change my identity in order to book parking for the new car I have, without any other option. I'll gave you the plate and card ,just take the money. COMPLETELY USELESS!!!!
Always a difference in price displayed and price you pay on the app which is a 20% mark up compared to display price. some parking lots dont have the option to pay with card/cardless.
worst app I have ever used. there is no way to use this as someone who isn't from the UK. the verifications codes don't work, their automated phone line doesn't work, this app/service is total junk. don't waste your time and just find another place to park.
Impossible to get the verification code if you have a US number. Don't waste your time.
Slow to start up. Stop asking me to set my location when I open the app, give me the option to say no forever. Also don't ask me to login again after the app has updated. Also won't let me set my own password.

shocking, I am only using since I had an issue with a parking meter, been charged much more than the parking meter charged me. £2.40 for an hour direct, using RingGo, same exact time, £3.20. RIP OFF.
Registering is a mess. If you have an international number good luck, they haven't figured those out yet. You'll probably never get the validation code, so it won't work. I tried every possibility, 00, +, everything I could think of, nothing ever showed up Oh, and also good luck calling and answering the 3 questions, the system can't understand "Ford", I tried about 10 times, even tried using different accents. Parking tickets are less frustrating than this nonsense
Does not work. App wouldn't let me log in. App asks me to delete account to continue. So I did. I then could not create a new account because apparently I already had an account. App would not let me delete my account to continue as the account was already deleted.
Annoying you have to register first. PayByPhone doesn't force this.

Any app that keeps logging me out is a 0 stars app. It's supposed to allow me to quickly pay for parking not fiddle with the constant logging in.

Absolutely awful! It's a disgrace that a company this well known, and "trusted" by town councils & parking companies, to be an authorised payment provider can have an App that is so hugely unreliable, crashy & clunky. I'd really rather have the inconvenience of catching the bus than deal with this joke of an App everytime I TRY and use it. I have serous concerns about this company having my payment details! If you can do without Ringo, definitely do so, it's truly awful.
Easter Sunday 2026 the app is broken. Tried two devices, clearing cache, reinstalling etc. Definitely an app/server problem. Wasn't able to pay so parked for free all day. Saved £14. Great! I wish the app would break more often!
why am I being charged 20p each SMSfor you to send me a confirmation SMS and a expiry reminder SMS. I'm using your bloody app, notifications are free.
Be VERY careful when using this app. I've parked in the same spot on the same carpark every day for the last 4 months and some days it will suggest I'm in a car park a mile away for no good reason but unless you're paying great attention to the change in a couple of numbers identifying the location, you could end up paying for a car park you're not even on whilst getting a fine for being where you are. It also doesn't automatically suggest your regular parking spots. BEWARE!
Awful app. Changed platform (ios to android) never managed to log in. Despite repeated attempts never received neither a text nor an email to reset password. When tried to register with another email it was not possible as I was still using the same mobe number.

30.3.26 App failed to load 3 times while trying to park, machines were out of order. Finally got it to work then payment wouldn't go through. Then again when trying to add more time to ticket app failed to load again. (This is not a signal issue as my network is strongest in area, phone issue or app update issue). 48042 location.

what is the actual point to this app or any other app like it? they have nothing to do with the parking or the money taken. they just take money for doing absolutely nothing. these scam parking apps need removing and councils should do it themselves as if you have a problem you have to go to them anyway and not the app. scam!
Extremely disappointed. Went to pay for parking, during process app shuts down. I reopen the app, try to pay for the parking, but it says I have already had 1 parking session today (car park was one 2 hour session per day). I thought that must mean that the first attempt went through fine. queue a week later and a parking fine arrives at my door. brill. how has this not been fixed.

had to use this app because the parking meter only took coin, couldn't get in to my account because it required the license plate of a rental car from years ago, so I selected the option to delete the old account and then it wouldn't let me register because I already had an account...
unable to register as fingerprint thing is not optionall and it doesn't seem to want to work. looks like there's a parking fine heading my way!
I cannot log into the app but can log into website.
Will not let me check in for the free first hour at the car park I want to use it at, it comes up with an error every time. So it forces me to pay for an hour even if I'm going to be there for less than the free one you get, as it lets me pay, obviously that would work fine. Very slimy.
Exactly as previous reviewer. Cannot get text message to verify to register or email to reset password. Phoning the number is no 'help' since it says use the app! App developer reply is no use since there us no Live Chat function. Update: found Auto Chat via browser on computer. Tried everything and resorted to Live Chat. Turns out I had an account that had been deactivated due to being inactive for 18 months. I didn't remember ever using it but must have been once and years ago.
Today 22 March 2026 , 10:00AM phone app was showing Free Parking. i went to Pay Machine and paid Normal Day Fee . i could have had a yellow Parking ticket . app NOT good Bury Saint Edmunds #4495 Cornhill & Buttermaket
