I really wanted to try this app for a very large across Canada camping trip. I couldn't even use it. I go to start a trip and it keeps asking me to pay for an upgrade. why would I pay for an upgrade when I can't even preview the app? garbage.

To Roadtrippers, I am requesting a full refund.

This app is worthless. even in the free week trial it won't pull up an itinerary. im mad i even had to give it one star to write a review. DO NETTER ROADTRIPPERS!!
Got auto renewed so I still have this useless thing. Very awkward to use. Does not include Harvest or HipCamp type resources. UIis very dumb and not intuitive at all.9
Does nothing but ask me to upgrade. Hasn't done anything. What am even upgrading and what's the cost? SCAM
Confusing and useless unless you buy the premium version. Can't figure out what exactly it can do for use without spending money. I'm willing to pay, but show me an example of a trip first. I'll delete the app and figure out something else...
Terrible trip planning app & customer support. This is my 4th complaint. I am again asking for my $49.99 refund. I will be disputing thru my Credit card!

Predatory and non-functional.
This used to be a 5 star app for me, I've been a paying member for many years, but this new update (5/14) makes it nearly impossible to rearrange your stops. You drag, they don't move, and if they do, it's way too far up or down. This will sadly be my last year with RoadTrippers unless some changes are made, if my account didn't already renew this year, I would cancel now. I've been working on a 7 stop trip for 30 minutes when it should have taken me 5.

I paid $39 to get nothing. we have driven for days and the app keeps saying I have to upgrade to pro to find out more information or get the directions for anything interesting. There are way less landmarks than hoped for at $39. this is a big waste of money. I get more from Google maps. they won't give my money back either so don't waste your money even on the minimum.🤬

This app is not compatible with Android Auto for navigation. The membership is a waste of money because of this major lack.
this was a very frustrating application to use. This really felt like it was made by AI and not tested for user's ease of use. the concept is nice and would have been lovely if it worked, as it is, buttons malfunction, the ai freezes, inputs don't work. This is the UI, the base functionality of the product. if the core buttons don't work then this app is just a brick wrapped in a pretty shell.... not worth downloading.
worthless now. You used to be able to use it without paying for a yearly subscription but now you are forced to pay to do basically anything on the app. Just use Google maps "search along route" feature which works better.

this used to be a useful app. but now the $ charges are ridiculous. you'd think they would notice half of their review say the app sucks and it costs so much money. a few years ago I planned a 36 stop roadtrip with this app. today that same trip Is impossible to plan due to limitations they implemented and the roadside attractions now are missing info on almost all of the stops I used before. dev doesn't understand feedback. no one cares about having to pay if the app works. it does NOT.
the idea is great the execution is poor is difficult to do anything and you have to keep starting over
I downloaded the app and paid for the membership, I never really used the app, just not that good. But, I get charged for a renewal, no correspondence, nothing. Emailed support on day 8 of the charge being deducted for my credit card. I am told they have a 7 day grace period, and I'm one day over. My complaint is that they should have sent a renewal notice, like all other companies do. This is not because it got lost in my spam folder. They didn't send a notice.
Decided to give the trial a run and immediately the app didn't recognize my home address. Lived here since 2018, single family home with a USPS mailing address recognized by Amazon, Google, UPS, FedEx, etc. Not sure what service the app is using for address validation, but if it's that outdated not sure I want to rely on this service for up-to-date data for a road trip.
Like it, want to pay for it, but no android auto only car play. If you guys care about your product and its customers, why hasn't this been addressed?

Same as every other review. Used to be great, but now you need a super super subscription for this app to be useful. Such a shame that this app was taken over by corporate greed.
Very hard to use app. They charge you then want more to even use it.
Horrible customer service. They do not care about their customers. They bill without sending any notices for renewals, and although I haven't used the app for 1.5 years, they will not refund auto renewals that I did not sign up for and had thought were cancelled... obviously something didn't go through properly.

was not helpful, many places I wanted to stop or hotels I wanted to include weren't identified in the app./didn't show up as an option. I was upset I paid for premium and didn't use this app at all for planning our big trip.

awfull, uninstalled after 5 minutes, tried searching for my town and it dident come up and couldnt plan from the map for some reason. tried serching for paris as a starting location just to test it and it only came up with paris,TX, instead of paris the actual capital of france.
