I put a half caret diamond in my hand and it was everything but a diamond. I tried 3 more times before it said it was a diamond. I put a stick in my hand and it told me that it was a tigers eye. This app may be good for some, but for me, I think Stevie Wonder would have been a better rock identifier than this app is/was.
It made me get a three day "free trial" to try it. So I did. None of the identifications were correct, so I went in and canceled my subscription before the trial ended. It still charged my bank account. User beware.
I signed up for the free trial, and it charged me a subscription of $29.99 after having it for 2 minutes. Don't trust this app.

WASTE OF MONEY! terrible app. only gives generic category i.e. igneous or metamorphic, but does not identify specific rock.
asked to unsubscribe ASAP with ni way to do so

Doesn't focus until maybe the 7th or 8th try. So blurry picture then gets it Wrong when there's finally a Clear pic.

Inaccurate, waste of time
it's NOT free!! false advertisement. there is no section for "free" option.. again no option for "free"
I scanned about 5-ish rocks before I was Forced to pay. not going to happen... I'm not even sure how accurate this app is. If I knew with absolute certainty, the accuracy is spot-on, I don't think I would mind paying a little. but, for now, it's just a bunch of rocks, not worth paying anything for.
I can't even begin to explain how I can only scan 5 rocks before I can't do any more because I would have to get premium, at what cost? I'd rather just get a book and self-identify. Do not recommend for anyone who is into rocks like me.

tictok, disappointed me on this one. no searchable map, use is pain in @$$ paywall heavy
I'm sure it's a good app I just didn't have the money to be paying for a subscription
