I downloaded this and agreed to the 7 day free trial, canceled my subscription later that same day as it got my rocks wrong anyway, and it just charged my account $42 for an entire year's subscription?? These people are crooks and the app isn't even effective.
You download it and then they want money.. No way im the one with the rocks/stones I do not need you....

For updates and nothing works and unfortunately, I'm sure this app is very useful for other people who can log in, but at the moment I am unable to log in, which gives it one star.

If you sign up for the free trial, it charges you instantly for the whole year of service instead of waiting until the end of the trial period. I've submitted for a refund since I didn't find the app useful and did not want to continue after trying it out. The charge literally even says "free trial" in the statement from Google play.

I haven't used it alot but it's been pretty close but only identifys one element even if there are more in one stone. I don't play with rocks everyday so why do I need to pay usage? In regards to your answer I have a rock with calcium, pyrite and a type of crystal which I want identified and got pyrite as the only rock in the picture.

I would not rely on this app to identify many rocks, I really only got it to successfully identify quartz, it fails to identify many forms of greenstone as jade, it also misidenified my slickenside as petrified wood. I would suggest researching the rock structures in your local area over using this app, or heck ask Reddit.
I do believe this rock identification app is seeking the control of my phone how I have my phone set it even turned the YouTube music app buy it's self control the browser control the phone i called it pissed with a human

Be careful of extra charges I was charged almost $50 by this app and was denied a refund even though I didn't approve the purchase. I used this app on an old phone, and it was a good resource, not 100% accurate, but definitely has some great educational materials. But when I installed it on my new phone, I was somehow charged almost $50! I tried to get a refund and was denied. I thought it was a great tool when it was free, but I'm really disappointed that they charged me without me agreeing.

I dont like it. Its identification of my rocks seems way too arbitrary. it gives you three choices of what kind of rock you have. and one of the choices is "something else" or something like that. My son took a look and kept saying, "That's not what that is. It's this ... instead." He does masonry & wire-wrapping. He knows his rocks. I will be uninstalling when my year is up. UPDATE: thanks for responding. You need more input, you shouldn't charge until you get more. Maybe another time.
this app keeps stalling on me. I have to reinstall all the time. please advise
