Your putting a paywall on a feature thats pretty damn important like your dome sort of sloppy sleazy uggo dating app, strange that all the people messaging me are also women, im about to be homeless and you expect me to pay you perks to message someone? hell no. change it or you suck simple as that

Don't even bother! The map shows the same people even in a different city and you have to pay a SUBSCRIPTION to even see messages. 11 dollars weekly?! Really?

Opened the app one time and now it won't open again. Some kind of update is needed.
ID verification doesnt work and customer service refuses to help.
Download SPAREROOM instead don't waste your time with Roomster. Not only did the ID verification not work no matter how many times I tried it, it just kept loading, they had the audacity to tell me that I got two new messages from Members about listings but then hide my entire message inbox behind a paywall. Why would you charge people who are trying to find a new roommate money to communicate with them? $12 for ONE week of access? Ridiculous.

12$ a week to see your messages?? Outrageous and makes it unusable. You can't link to other messaging platforms so you'd have to pay 12$ a week just to maybe get a room mate. Actually insane.

PAY TO PLAY IS HOW YOU LOSE CUSTOMERS FOREVER ALL YOU HUSTLING CON ARTIST AT "GOOGLE" APPS ARE NON STOP, AND NON EXISTENT THEY NEED TO STOP. MAKE EVERY FEATURE FREE ALLOW THE CUSTOMER WHO IS DISPLAYING THEIR ROOM/SPACE TO DECIDE IF THEY WANT TO PURCHASE A PREMIUM WHICH BASICALLY DISPLAYS THEIR ADD ON TOP. EVERYONE ELSE FREE TO MESSAGE COMMUNICATE ETC.. OTHERWISE NOBODY WILL USE THESE NON RELIABLE APPS
you get like a day of messaging and then you have to pay after that. you literally can't message anyone until you pay. which the cheapest option is 12 bucks a week. and there are mainly fake accounts on this app. if you're looking for a place, don't waste your time here if you're looking to rent out a room, it will automatically send out messages to anyone in the market in your area without asking you - hundreds of messages.

this app is a joke don't waste your money. nothing but bots and scams. I live in Atlanta and only had three maybe four potential candidates. the numbers just didn't add up. most posts only have one picture or no picture. just a bunch of fake accounts.
The majority of profiles are dormant, probably after people realized they had to pay to read messages. I've also received green Message notifications which are supposed to indicate a message is specifically for me, causing me to update my subscription, only to find the message was from a site moderator or it was notifying me about my own message sent to someone else. They block usage of numeric characters in ads, making it hell to share room dimensions and prices.

Scamster. Fake ads with no profile pics at rates that are too good to be true. You have to pay just to read your messages. I wonder if Roomster isn't creating fake ads just to get people to pay money to read fake replies from fake people? SpareRoom is way better. Found my current roommate with them, and am in communication currently with someone from SpareRoom whom I have actually spoken with on the phone. SpareRoom doesn't require you to pay to read messages either. Avoid.

Until my issue is resolved, you're staying at 1 star (wish I can give a 0). Made an account, very next day you're telling me my number is blocked. Trying to reach out to customer support, getting the runaround via ai chat. Tell it to connect me to someone, now I'm waiting a century for a response. Phone number? Automated. Then hangs up. I'm so disappointed because there were some nice listing on their platform.
they let you set up everything only to find out the basic function of messaging is pay only. what a sleazy scumbag practice.

they charge you 30$ a month to message listers on there, when i went to cancel i was still being charged so i contacted their "24/7" chat bot for help, which didnt do anything, then tried to call, which was an automated voice box saying to use the chatbot in the app, then gave no option to speak to a representative. i am trying to get my money back and they have litterally no options to contact real support. i emailed too and nothing. dont use this app
this app is kinda a scam. you can't read messages unless you pay and after you pay, there aren't many if any actual messages. nobody responds, likely because they don't have a paid subscription.
a complete racket almost 30$ just to message the renter if I'm interested. so annoying.

once you download the app it's decent but I was only able to open one message, after that I had to pay$ 12 to read the remaining messages

Putting the receiving messages option behind a paywall is actually insane, y'all greedy asses are out of y'alls gahddamn minds if you think I'm going to pay $12 per week or any amount just to receive messages, deleted my account so damn fast.

I could leave a 0 star review i would, regardless if I went to the actual website or used their app, it wasn't accepting my ID upload. it was in the proper format and size, then to contact their "24/7" support to recieve ZERO support and an automated message. Then THIS APP IS ROBBERY, because I paid for the $29.99 for the 30 days to find a roommate and can't even recieve any the of support for the ID check, which you have to pass to get a roommate! Literally just stole my money
