I’m using version 1.xx.x on my Android tablet, and the app works smoothly with no issues. However, the Play Store says it’s no longer supported on my device. This is confusing and concerning-does this mean future updates will remove access entirely? Tablets are perfect for managing cruise plans, especially for families. It would be disappointing to lose support when the app already performs well. Please clarify and consider continued support for Android tablets.
App never loads for me to do anything in it. Even clearing the cache, updating, uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't help!
very poor function. especially while on board the cruise. glitchy, slow and constantly lost connection.
The app involves going on this trash box of a boat. The NCL app has class and status, as well as the boat and staff. Staff we're trash, I bet the staff captain wouldn't threaten people on land. I know the chief security officer wouldn't. Ordering the drink package was a waist, if someone doesn't like what you say they charge you and discontinue the package. last royal Caribbean cruise I will ever go on. Frankly I would rather go on Carnival at this point. Not to mention the boat is falling apart

Prior to and for roughly 80% of the cruise, the app would not load the deck maps or allow me to view details of on board activities or excursions. The communication feature in the app is a good idea but is not well executed, and rarely notifies of new messages and more often than not fails to send messages
I really didn't like the part where I was forced to rate the app

Messages and new photos are not accessible. It's an incredibly basic, universal, reproducible and consistent failure in the application making it the only negative experience on the cruise. It made it very difficult for my group of 12 to coordinate.
Maybe the worst app ever, but an extra star for working some of the time and being the ONLY option onboard. Tip: Turn your phone to landscape view to use the guest services chat. Don't count on the messaging to notify you at all. And the planner is halfway useless showing your reservations sometimes, other times at the wrong time, and other times not at all.
Not very user-friendly. Took too long to figure out WiFi-we had to go downstairs for help. The “Chat with us” feature didn’t let me type anything. It’s also hard to quickly see what’s open right now; too many closed options are shown. A simple “Open Now” or “Happening Now” filter, clearer instructions, and a working chat would make a big difference.
The messaging barely worked. Thankfully one person in each of our groups had the data plan so we just messaged each other directly with Whatsapp/fb messenger/texts (turn off roaming, only works with rcs compatible texting)
the app was confusing no one explained anything throughout the boarding or prelim, the crew members being very kind was the only good thing about the trip, besides that food was horrible, the only decent meal was in the main dinner, I was assaulted couldn't swallow my spit or food and they provided nothing to assist. Will never be boarding a cruise again 😒
needs an option to get homescreen notifications from the app for messages. also, sending and receiving messages was inconsistent despite uninterrupted wifi connection and sometimes you couldn't tell if they had sent or if you are receiving any. an "on-line" or "off-line" banner would be nice to have for the app. If any of the above critics already exist as functions, they were unclear for every guest in my group and more.
I had issues with ordering room service and with reserving activities.
terrible. im still getting messages from 4 days ago from travellers they won't clear. kept saying your off line
Trying to go back to the previous page often results in closing the app.
so glitchy and annoying with irrelevant alerts when I'm on vacation. told me to get on the ship when I had been on for hours
the app kept me connected to my friends in the cruise but if you don't keep it on the msgs don't ho thru until you open it again and if you keep it on the whole time it'll drain the battery. no winning with this app but it was somewhat helpful. also it changed our names if I text Jan then Mike gets the msg and so on. it needs some work but it was helpful.
