It just spins but nothing happens. I installed it on another phone and the same thing happens!!!! I've been playing this game with a friend for YEARS! I hate to see it go but it's become aggravating! If they can't fix this issue, I'll have to find another word game for us to play!
DO NOT download this game!!! It's infected and will try to load a virus onto your phone during gameplay!!! This happened to me twice and I'll never play it again!!
Why is it even when i win, I dont even get the scores? It's been frustrating and annoying, not to add the ever so many ads every single time. I won 2 times (team play) betting 100 on each but didnt even get the prices.I tried exiting the app, it usually solves it but now it didnt. why exert any effort when the prices wont be given anyway? i have been a long time player and this is just disappointing. is there anyone actually fixing it?
03/15/26 UPDATE: I PAID FOR THIS APP SO I WOULDN'T RECEIVE ADS.... FOR WHATEVER REASON I AM NOW HAVING TO WAIT FOR LONG ADS! I'VE TRIED WORKING WITH RUZZE TECHS... TO NO AVAIL. I'M NOW THINKING IT'S A SCAM TO GET YOUR MONEY... AND THEN SNEAK THE ADS BACK IN. WHAT A SHAME! Exceptional game! It's got to be the best word game of all time! No wonder it is sooo popular. Great job to all involved in developement of this game which I've been playing for years! No glitches or problems... ever.

You made it impossible to play because there are too many inescapable ads. If I ever check it out again one day and it is fixed, I'll change my review to 5 stars. It used to be a fun game.
I paid for this app in 2000 to stop the ads. I have receipt. It started showing ads again late 2025. No way to fix on Google Play or their website. One trail led to chatbot in the app. Can't type in the input box in the chatbot input box. I found their email address on Facebook and notified them of the problem. Another dead end - they said that email doesn't provide user support. So it seems that this is just another flaky developer that doesn't care.

This game used to be fun. When I first played this game there were no ads as I recall. Or very limited ads at that. Now they want to charge you $2.99 for an "Ad Free" experience. What a joke! It's back to the ads after 30 days and it's between rounds (3 rounds). Money hungry! I have to un-install this app for that reason.
now having endless loop of ads with no way to get around it. there's no way to close the ads and exiting the game just replays the ad again and can't even play

Played free version for past half year, the closest thing to the original Word Scramble from Zynga that I could find. It was diverting enough to accept ads between games, which is a logical placement for them. But recently, ads interrupt midway into a game. For gameplay where searching for words is time critical and games are only a few minutes long, this is a deal breaker. Three interruptions and I've deleted the game, there's no point playing these games interrupted.

It's horrible you've implemented a click bait...middle of the game some nonsense ad is opening in the browser (something like Your phone is infected..blah blah)...that's the last thing you could do.

Something DODGY with this app. Adverts redirect to unsafe websites which my antivirus flagged and blocked access to.. Naturally I uninstalled the app. I used the android play store to attempt to reach the developer and request deletion of my data but both links provided by the Play store are now invalid. AVOID
not sure what you are doing differently here, but other apps honour the Oppo Reno 13 Pro app-volume specific controls. i can have YouTube on high volume and other apps at a lower volume, but Ruzzle completely ignores the app specific volume I've set, even if I mute it. it always plays at full volume. please fix.
My original review was 5 stars, but that was before the app became riddled with ads. 1 star now, as the ads take up probably 80% of the time, and the gameplay only 20%
I used to enjoy playing this game when it came out over 10 years ago, I re-downloaded now and discovered that they introduced ads at any rounds, making it utterly annoying. I thought perhaps I could buy an ad-free version at a reasonable price, but no: the paid subscription only removes ads for one month, which is frankly ridiculous. I don't understand how the owners/designers are unable to realise what a turn off this is. Will be uninstalling again, what a bummer.
I am curious as to how much the developer receives for the ads that automatically sends players to Google Play Store. Shameless greed.

I wrote a review about this 3 yrs ago and still no change really: In team play, very often, I don't get points awarded if I win unless I exit out of the app and reopen and even then, in some instances, I won't get awarded pts. Now if I'm short on chips and hit the "add free chips" button, it's greyed out and won't let me watch the ad to get them (I have screenshot for illustration). I would have thought this problem would have been resolved by now.
Im writing again..u answered me in 2018.. the 3 word tiles are in unscorable ..extra bonus free advertisements don't seem to work... And I use a Android phone .. So iO is out of question...Plus it's always a one way game...u tend to lose more coins than u make as I'm sure you'd like us to buy coins out of u ... its a rigged game usually where a person of my skill and speed loses to people using coins.. word grids are rigged and the standard of the game and your service has dropped. sort it fast
like other users: used to be a fun game years ago, nice community of prayers. now while I understand the need for ads but they're too intrusive at every round and offering cringe games like the war ones, which is quite unsettling in this period in the global geopolitics, when you would like to relax with a word game. I also think there might be players cheating as some scores look 'too good to be true'. seems the typical startup which becomes careless of its users and just after it goes 'big'

Recent issue, the daily rewards feature hasn't worked for over 3 weeks, and this allows you to earn coins without paying. I'm uninstalling for a while as customer service has been no help at all despite 3 conversations with them. I love the game, especially team play, but I feel like this is just a way of forcing me to purchase more coins to be competitive. Also seems that we are playing against some bot teams and there's no accountability for that as well.
