Dont use the GPS, I know it says to watch signs and warnings that are not indicated on the GPS, but it has absolutely no discretion on what are and are not truck routes. Twice it tried to lead our 40ft trailer over roads banned to trucks due to steep railroad crossings. It also tried desperately to send us through the Nada tunnel in KY (look it up). Absolutely no better than any standard GPS app.
Horrible app, very inaccurate. Don't waste your money.

doesn't show traffic jams, or offer alternative routes. not renewing this app. what would have been a 6 hour drive, it took us 11 hours to get back.
Total Scam!! Can only plan 10 stops. Hello Dip. Stick. We are attempting to plan a 2 month, several thousand mile long RV trip. You should warn people that this is a Saturday shoping trip capable pile of garbage.
I had a stroke and I'm paralyzed. As much as I hate to admit this to myself, I will never be able to get back to my beloved nomadic lifestyle. So, I'm selling my camper, and unsubscribed from all my camping subscriptions, including RV Life. All of the others were easy, but RV Life charged me almost $70 today, (through a backup method I don't remember entering, because I disabled the account I use for these things. This doesn't seem like good practice to me.
I had a terrible time finding RV Resort parks. I wanted to look around Spokane and I finally found some it was very frustrating.
Very unreliable and dangerous. Route included low vehicle clearance tunnels even though filters were set to no tunnels. Provides very limited options for safe routes. Google maps works better.
Very confusing app. hard to use.
make it user friendly, I was repeated stopped from "Creating Trip" Because the system would not accept 90 km an hour for Ontario, Canada and I had told it to switch to metric. I tried 92 km an hour. I tried 85 km an hour. The system is borked.

This app is not user friendly, too difficult to modify a destination if you make an error, to confusing to know where your trip is located between the wizard and rv life app. The YouTube videos looked promising, but my screen never looked like the video. I got too frustrated trying to navigate app while on our trip. I resorted to using Waze and Simply Auto to track our progress. RV Life, your app doesn't allow you to cancel. I'm canceling subscription before our 6/17/26 deadline.

The app demands birthdate AFTER they charge your credit card but before you can use the app to comply with COPPA laws? Ah yes because preteens sign up for for RV navigation app in droves... Ridiculous. What's next? Asking for SSNs? Why are you collecting unnecessary data? So you can have a breach and have all your customers deal with identity thefts? If you going to demand a birthdate why don't you demand it before accepting the payment so people can make a decision before they commit.
claims to be a free app. It's not when everything is behind a $65/yr paywall
I am genuinely shocked that this app is so widely used. The interface is not user-friendly at all, the flow is terrible, there is no way to easily create a trip from the GPS or the trip screen. We thought that paying for Pro would help, it didn't. The developers need some serious help with end user experience.
impossible to navigate the app in
Not good at all, took a trip to South Carolina from NH. RV LIFE had us take 95 south down. when I tried to change the route it would put us back to 95 South which is a horrible highway. It also cost us 160 dollars in tolls, but I gave it a shot with RV LIFE and yup it was still horrible. Coming back I set it for no tolls but it still kept trying to bring us back to 95. Not sure you have a agreement or deal with the toll States. Shut it off and drove 77 to 81 to 84, much better route.
I got this app and paid for the peace of mind when pulling my 5th wheel. the two trips I used it for took me down narrow twistie roads. I just did 3 ten mile switch backs. I shouldn't have been on. I was using a free app and it never took me on a road that bad. before you say it was a faster route. it's 4 minutes longer on my other app. I don't feel this app is worth paying for.

Always have a backup plan, 3 different journeys, 3 abject failures, from being directed to left turn where they aren't allowed, to being directed to do U turns on the highway, and then today directed past the actual turn, into a dead end, think it's worth the money to pay for a trucker gps, extremely frustrated with this app

It won't let me filter for Water, electric, or pet friendly. And the pop up add are annoying! Deleting immediately!
Terrible contact information, customer service is even worse and their trial week is fake once they get your money there is no way getting back. They somehow blame Google. And the application is alot less than the many free apps. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE I DO NOT RECOMMEND EVEN THEY OFFER THE THIS APP FOR FREE.

hard to get into. doesn't respond, worst app ever. trip plan is a joke. must only be based for computer setup only. not mobile phone friendly.
Very bad. That simple. Can't even make a route, with out 100 taps back and forth. Then you can only get AI help. if you want a humanthen you can call them and make an appointment for that Call, if over half hour you have to pay!
no wonder no one uploads photos, absolutely trash speeds 45 minutes cant upload any pics. 5 bars & 5g?!!?!?!?!?! disappointed.
Cancellation is not an option!! Beware that once you try this app, they refuse to allow you to cancel. Every excuse in the world; "can't find the account", "must be under a different email address", etc. This organization is fraud at it's best. Be aware!

Even after turning off all notifications, it will still send you annoying notifications. PC mapping is ok, not super easy but we do like integration into our android/google maps.
maps don't update and we have ran into closed roads. we run Google Maps on a separate phone to catch road issue's
Has a lot of features, but is too complicated and not intuitive to use. Kinda buggy and crashed using GPS.

Charged my credit card immediately when they said it was a trial. Additionally the map was glitchy with Android Auto, with no traffic data, and the routes were identical to Google Maps. We never got any fuel reminders which I had set. What would be really helpful is an option to see nearby dumping stations which doesn't seem to exist in the app. Basically I got charged twenty bucks for an app that didn't even really provide any extra value.
This not intuitive at all. Wish that when you open trip wizard it would come up like Google maps. You have to navigate through so much stuff just to do a start and end point. Google maps is much more intuitive. Although they aren't really set up for rv routes.
Cumbersome Annoying to Say The Least
Did not work as promised. Tried leading me all kinds of places I shouldn't have gone with my camper.
Worked great until recent update (April 2026) When running on Android Auto, the connection between the RV LIFE app and my cell phone drops every few minutes. I have no issues running Google Maps. Both RV Life and Google Maps are connected to phone wirelessly (no USB). RV Life app worked perfectly prior to most recent update. Now it is unusable as I can't have to reset the app every few minutes while driving. Supports answer was to connect via USB. No practical in my case.

False advertising. Can't plan trips unless ypu spend more money. Sole purpose of paying for the app was to plant my entire trip with stops.
