Saily failed when I needed it overseas. The app flow did not work on my Pixel 10, and the manual add code also failed. I spent about 90 minutes with support after already being without working phone service for several days. Support incorrectly claimed my phone was carrier-locked because “OEM unlocking” was greyed out, but that refers to bootloader unlocking, not carrier/eSIM unlock. The same eSIM later installed successfully when I generated the QR code from a different phone.

scam that doesn't provide any service after taking payment
After initially buying an esim, I experienced horribly slow speeds. Spent a bunch time with their AI bot deep into Android settings getting it working. I have a T-Mobile Sim , so the purchase was to get higher data speeds. Since things seemed ok, i purchased a larger, expensive, data package. But then when i tried using GPS on a long drive the connection again became erratic causing wrong turns and lots of wasted time. It wasn't a signal issue. Using other sim worked. They don't care, wasted $$
Didn't work at all the AI chatbot and "human" support offered the same, useless advice. I asked for a refund and they offered a credit which is useless for something I won't ever try to use again. Eventually the refund was processed. Don't bother installing.
don't like that nord has secretly installed this app without permission.
Couldn't install on my phone and they wouldn't refund my money, only got Saily credits. which is stupid since I can't use the app.

Very slow in Greece. Almost the same as Greek Wi-fi connections in apartments. Hotspot is basically useless. It says it has unlimited speed but it is very limited.

I could not get the esim to work even after 3 day's at 2hrs a day texting with their bot and human. I was unable to access my bank a/c on holiday, no data, to get funds. when I signed up with sailly they deducted payment twice and called it a credit...rude. I gave up and demanded my money back, which they refunded both payments the following day.
I bought it so I can have internet for one day while I was in Čapljina. I paid and activated the esim in Croatia as I would not have internet in Bosnia and Herzegovina and I got no internet. You don't get a refund also. So I would stay as far away from this as possible.
cannot even pay the website is scam, the ai bot supposed to help you keeps repeating what is already inside the faq....useless
The app interface was really well done, that's where positives stopped. I'm on an ESim compatible oppo. first trying to explain it to the bot, got no where but sent screenshots. human came in, asked me to reproduce same screenshots. then screenshot everything I could. the issue was I was getting uplink but no downlink (could send data packets but not receive). sim wasn't provisioned properly. wasted 2hr. then told it wasn't compatible. it is. I've just posted this review using a competitor ESIM
scam app where you first make a payment, and then you have to send a passport photo, your personal photo, it is impossible to get the money back
Expensive and non-functioning. Support is a half-baked AI chatbot. Useless.
The worst esim service, the worst customer service, the worst for add ons and passes. Use anyone else.
My experience had been horrible. I had first bought the plan to the UK, and when I arrived there, I activated the eSIM following the rules of the app. Saily said I was ready to go and use it, so I turned off WiFi and activated the data. One problem, the network doesn't work at all. No websites load and the Saily app itself signs me out (so I have to log back in) and just refuses to load. I had talked with customer service, and I did everything they told me, only for it to work for 5 seconds.
Very disappointed. Didn't work at all. followed all the instructions, my wife and I got no data in Mexico. she even followed instructions from the help desk and it still didn't work. waste of your valuable money.

Rarely works. Why this app has such a high review is a mystery to me. The eSIM rarely works, and when it does it's usually only for a five minute period.

I got saily when traveling to Indonesia and it worked great. However when traveling to Vietnam I got a new plan it didn't work at all. The app confirmed that I installed it correctly but for some reason there was still an error. I asked for help from the chat but after one and a half hours the issue was still not resolved.
terrible coverage, next to unusable. also in large cities
To say my experience with Saily is disappointing would be an understatement. I traveled to the UK and stayed in major cities. Never once did my phone sniff 5G, it was always on LTE. I understand 5G is not guaranteed, but to not even sniff it once is strange. Next, the automatic connect wouldn't work. So I had to manually connect it to a service. And then if it dropped service just a bit, I would have to manually reconnect. I have a pixel 6a, so maybe it has to do with phone type.
My experience with Saily wasn't great. Purchased on 2 devices, and both devices had constant issues, internet connection was extremely unstable, and had to restart phones to get connectivity back. Not worth the hassle.
Logs you out every two minutes. "Ooops, something went wrong"... Same issue for over a year. On latest version. I'm not emailing you.
It's getting dark and you find yourself on a shady busterminal. You want to leave, to get to a safe place. But for some reason Saily decided you have no signal now. My experience with Saily was a disaster. Connection was unreliable and generally incredibly slow, leading to many complicated situations during travelling. After an hour with customer support, no solution was found. I would not recommend this to others, perhaps try a different esim.
