can no longer log in after update. enter username then it just goes to a blank screen.
They have blocked me from seeing this app on the Play Store unless I use a direct link to it because I previously left a negative review.
There's always a problem with it.

Don't understand why it says works on Android 8.1+ when it's unavailable on my Android 9 phone! Used 2 love but insane SO many glitches-send LOTS feedback! Can't use 1 FORCED upd8 as don't have Google Play on that! Every time I use I DREAD as SO hard & not funny when u r ill, disabled, constantly exhausted & in pain! Searches STILL 2 irrelevant. Don't want upd8 in case even WORSE but you FORCE THEM every millisec whilst using app even at checkout just before 11pm! You CAN'T use during update!
unbelievably frustrating
kept saying delivery appointments failed even though they were clearly open with little vans next to them! so tried chop chop and paid for it but it refused to accept it after I added the billing name and address which is not the name of my account but is what it says on the credit card.
awful I've had nothing but problems. and now we are forced to buy certain items online.. but the systems are useless so I cant buy it... technical support takes 6 to 10 days, should I just not buy food for 10 days or shall I go shop at a normal shop that doesn't mess their customers around like this.
Unusable For the last month or so the app has become unusable. It no longer shows links to book a slot or opt to collect. Any link available simply doesn't load - it just hangs on the eternal circle. I've been using it before all this for ages with no bother. I've uninstalled, reinstalled etc and still the same. I can no longer order on my phone as the web browser immediately takes me to the app which isn't working. This really needs to be fixed.

This newest version is no longer compatible with my phone and I can't use the older version either...

The app used to work really well, but now it just hangs, and hangs. I normally have to restart my phone to use it. very disappointing.
latest update and now it won't work.
unable to create an account as apparenlty an account already exists with that email. told to contact a non existent customer team to be able to access your account again which you dont have. ok, so if you "please navigate to the 'your profile page' using the profile you dont have because you cant create an account, and from there we can help" stop asking to go "your profile page" i am unable to do this. "so if you require further assistance please vist our website or go to your profile page.

Linking Sainsbury's and nectar is total rubbish. Never works.

Updates pop up way too often. Annoying enough in itself but you cannot shop unless you go ahead with the update. It should be either allow the customer to discard the update. Or offer the update once every few months as opposed to every few days.
constantly cancel orders on the day or send 1 day dated products.
Would be a good app if it didn't need updating every time I come to use it !!!
really glitchy app. have to clear cache and restart multiple times to get it to work. otherwise the screen doesn't fully appear and can't book a slot. can't access favourites, just the loading wheel of death. really frustrating when you've left it to the last min to amend an order

All in all it works but it could be so much better.
items for delivery before the offer end date and to make matters worse Sainsbury's have outsourced Customer Services to The Philippines and the agent I spoke to couldn't answer 2 basic questions and wasn't particularly bothered either. He told me in effect either leave the order or continue and ring back for a refund after delivery.
I had no way of putting my Nectar card on the shopping to gain my reductions. Boooo Sainsburys. not sure I'm gonna do this again
crashed often
The search does not reliably find products (search "brocolli" and it only shows the most expensive varieties when others are available through the menu) but the menu is also terrible and the sub categories make no sense. "dairy essentials" only includes single pints of semi milk, you have to go somewhere else for the other sizes and types and then they are not ordered. The website is just as bad. Complete mess.
Usually a good app, but it doesn't work properly, after the June update. Search for a product, and you get results, but click on one result, and instead of all the product info, you get the product name at the top, and a blank screen. Please go it, Sainsbury's.
app log in is terrible
Frustrating. Any orders under £50 will have the delivery charge shown in the subtotal. Poor integration with the Nectar application. Very basic search facility resulting in hundreds of results.

Can't pay by gift card?
Decent app when it works, but as many have pointed out, plagued by persistent, unresolved bugs. Just tried to pay for a delivery order and it's one "unspecified error" after another. Will give it one more try, otherwise the order goes to Waitrose.
Very rarely able to find my orders on first app loading. Requires 5+ minutes of reloading app until will eventually appear. Works well after this point, but consistent issue with this for 12+ months
