can I ask who working on this app decided it was a good idea to break the search? when I type a word and press my enter key you search for that word. you don't give me suggestions about what you think the word is. why are you increasing the clicks? that is the dumbest UI decision you could have made.

You can scrape from a url but not use the picture of a newspaper clipping that is the only surviving form of a family recipe that was printed in the 90s? I tried to post it twice. I even altered the language to clarify it a bit better than my mom's recipe that was originally printed. It was flagged both times by their brainless bots. Recipes can't be copyrighted. What gives? I am not using the app to save useless influencer recipes. If it continues to flag my recipes, byeeee!

I used to be able to stop by the store and get groceries off of our shared list. I could also tell kids what was for dinner by looking at our planner. But not anymore. Seriously, I used to tell everyone about this app!! We have emailed for help, but nothing gets resolved. Please fix it back to the way it was up until recently!!!
£60 a year is extortionate to save a few recipes, I'd rather use one of the free apps, or a poxy pen and pad than pay 60 a year for this
I used to love this app but in the last few months I have not been able to use it at all! It is constantly not loading saying network error and just flashing as if it's trying to load but cant. I've been in touch with Support, I've reloaded, uninstalled reinstalled, all the things it suggests. It works for 30sec then back to flashing. Using a Samsung that is app capable, had no problems for years, now unusable.
Update: Reaching out to support (05/25/26). Amazing app, terrible “feature.” The app itself is incredible and super useful, but if I leave the app for even a few seconds to check a recipe, shopping list item, Google something, etc., it force closes completely. Then I have to relaunch it and manually navigate all the way back to what I was doing. It’s unbelievably frustrating and inconvenient. If this issue didn’t exist, it would easily be 5 stars.

I have loved this app for years but now cannot access it on my phone at all. the app glitches and never allows me to login. I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and nothing. no one responds to msgs .
Suckfest. Whisk was great, then Samsung took over and ruined it. We used to be able to sign in on multiple devices, so whichever family member was cooking for the night, all had the same meal plan, but now you all have to have separate accounts. NOT USEFUL. It's been a glitchy mess since it switched. this is the last straw. finding a new app. total garbage
Chaebol trash with BlackRock investors. Funny how this app score is mostly made up from ratings from 5 years ago, pre enshittification.
Just plain doesn't let you past the main login screen. Then the troubleshooting option doesn't let you submit your issue. So plainly, this app is useless now
I loved using this app with my husband, but they changed the log-in to only work with the Samsung log-in they pick with no other options. I'm very disappointed to have to switch to a different app, so my husband and I can sync on one account.
this is an awful app, it should come with a warning that is only vegan and vegetarian. I scrolled and scrolled and could not find a single recipe containing meat. why would this be the case? I do not recommend unless you want to eat beans 5 days a week. good luck 👍
app stopped working will reinstall
Edit: I don't know if Samsung quit supporting the app or what has happened, but it's now unusable. Literally. Networking errors. Having to cleared cache, logout, delete saved data, and now, you can't even login. Easy to use and organize recipes. Cuts out having to read the dumb stories and unnecessary info people put in their recipes. Just copy the link and it pulls the ingredients.
I've used this app for years. I was using it just yesterday. I go to pull up a recipe today and I'm kicked out of my account. I can't sign in on my Samsung tablet nothing happens when I click sign in I can't even submit the cant login form on my phone it works though.
What a joke. Overnight I lost access to my lists and recipes, got logged out of my account and the only way to log in is with samsung account, which is not the account I've been using. leaving the app altogether, it's been annoying to use it anyway with all the ads since Samsung took over Whisk.
My husband and I had a shared login for this app, but now it will only auto login to my personal Samsung account, which isn't where everything was saved. This app was great when it was Whisk before Samsung bought it, but it's just gotten more and more cumbersome to use with every change made. And now that I can't even access our account, we are going to go with a different app entirely.
This app seems to do nothing more than I can do without it, especially now with any AI.
newest update has removed all login options other than Samsung account, meaning family members cannot any longer log into the same account to share shopping lists or meal plans. this is ridiculous and I am currently looking for a new app to migrate our recipes over to which does have the features we need.

In the last four months, this app has gone down hill. besides not letting me add recipes to my weekly plan, I opened it today and it just wouldn't load. I optimized my phone, cleared the cache, and cleared data. When I opened the app it asked me to sign in with my Samsung account, but clicking the sign in button did nothing. Then when I clicked, "trouble accessing your account?" it took me to a screen to enter my email and to report the problem, however clicking submit did nothing.
Since the latest update, I haven't been able to save a single recipe. I have often had issues with Ktchn, but now it's every site. It just tells me there's an error and to try again. Generally, I love this app (except for not being able to easily find saved recipes), but this has been a huge bummer.
This used to be my favourite app when it was Whisk. Unfortunately, when Samsung took over the ads started and the bugs soon followed. The app crashes all the time, there are loads of ads and glitches. Currently the app has been saying network error for the past two weeks even after reinstalling. I have recently moved to Flavorish which is a fantastic app. I would highly recommend it and its everything Whisk used to be so I will be sticking with that from now on.
all the submit buttons are broken: no action takes place. I can't log in and can't submit a bug. Pressing the submit button doesn't do anything. I even paused my vpn, but it doesn't help.
poor uploads from NYT cooking
There are several things I love about Samsung Food. The user interface looks great and is really intuitive. I particularly like the health rating feature. It's great at importing ingredients from web pages accurately. All big pluses against other apps I've tried. But where it really falls down is that it doesn't import the instructions. Instead it uses its internal browser to open the original webpage. What happens if a link moves or is otherwise broken? I lose that recipe forever. Hard no.
Not my thing... You can't use this if you're under 18.
When you can access the app its amazing but within the last couple of months its really hard to log on and when I do, nothing loads. I tried a variation of things to try and get the app to work and it's at a stage where I can't even report an issue about logging in because the send button doesn't seem to work
