this is an awful app, it should come with a warning that is only vegan and vegetarian. I scrolled and scrolled and could not find a single recipe containing meat. why would this be the case? I do not recommend unless you want to eat beans 5 days a week. good luck 👍

Cuts out having to read the dumb stories and unnecessary info people put in their recipes. Just copy the link and it pulls the ingredients.
I've used this app for years. I was using it just yesterday. I go to pull up a recipe today and I'm kicked out of my account. It says I need a Samsung Account to get it but that doesn't bring me to my established account, just a new one. Sure, I could create a new account but my established one has years of recipes saved. Very annoying.
Awful app, infested with ads

My husband and I had a shared login for this app, but now it will only auto login to my personal Samsung account, which isn't where everything was saved. This app was great when it was Whisk before Samsung bought it, but it's just gotten more and more cumbersome to use with every change made. And now that I can't even access our account, we are going to go with a different app entirely.
This app seems to do nothing more than I can do without it, especially now with any AI.

In the last four months, this app has gone down hill. besides not letting me add recipes to my weekly plan, I opened it today and it just wouldn't load. I optimized my phone, cleared the cache, and cleared data. When I opened the app it asked me to sign in with my Samsung account, but clicking the sign in button did nothing. Then when I clicked, "trouble accessing your account?" it took me to a screen to enter my email and to report the problem, however clicking submit did nothing.
Since the latest update, I haven't been able to save a single recipe. I have often had issues with Ktchn, but now it's every site. It just tells me there's an error and to try again. Generally, I love this app (except for not being able to easily find saved recipes), but this has been a huge bummer.
This used to be my favourite app when it was Whisk. Unfortunately, when Samsung took over the ads started and the bugs soon followed. The app crashes all the time, there are loads of ads and glitches. Currently the app has been saying network error for the past two weeks even after reinstalling. I have recently moved to Flavorish which is a fantastic app. I would highly recommend it and its everything Whisk used to be so I will be sticking with that from now on.
all the submit buttons are broken: no action takes place. I can't log in and can't submit a bug. Pressing the submit button doesn't do anything. I even paused my vpn, but it doesn't help.
Whisk (Samsung Food) was mine and my husband's favorite app. We practically told everyone that we know how great it is. Now I have an updated version. It now makes you sign into your "Samsung" account that you used to sign in with your android phone. Samsung helped me merge my new account with my old one. Now it is impossible for my husband, and anyone in my family, to use it bc it has to be their account from their phone. So unfortunately, it is a useless app to us now.

Used to be amazing but since the last update it logged me out of my account and will only let me make a new one so I've lost all of my recipes, I got in touch with support and was told I have to make a samsung account so no luck there
Nothing but problems since samsung took the app over. Every couple of months it wipes all of my data and I lose all of my recipes. Incredibly frustrating. Give up with this app, unreliable.

I've used this app for a while and never had a problem until today when I opened it up to find a receipe I had saved and ALL MY RECEIPES WERE GONE!! I had gathered them from all over the internet for nothing. Guess I'm going back to keeping them the old fashioned way - receipe cards. I can't trust any app now. 😐

New update prevents me from logging in with anything other than my Samsung account, making it impossible for me to share a grocery list and meal plan with everyone else in my household (unless I share my personal Samsung account details!). Can't access all the recipes I've built up over the years on my phone on a non-Samsung account. Would highly recommend avoiding this app unless they change it back, as it is very inconvenient!
They removed all other login options except your Samsung Account, and only the Samsung account associated with your device. This makes the app completely impossible to use with other people in your household (who obviously have different Samsung accounts). This adds absolutely 0 benefits, because that login method was already an option. Typical manipulative Samsung behaviour, forcing you to have an account with them, and in the process destroying an app. Unfortunately, we cannot use it anymore.
With this new update, your Samsung account is the only account you can use, meaning if you used the app when it was called Whisk, & used a different email, then the app had it's permissions removed through not being opened in a while (approx 6 weeks), then you're greeted with an empty app with all saved recipes gone. Of course it's not the only place I have them written, but having them in this app was useful when cooking away from home. Now I have to upload them all again from scratch.
Trying to select 2000 calories as my daily goal... Always puts it back to 1700. Im trying to recover from an eating disorder. I need help planning meals, I dont nees to be forced into a diet.
I Lost Years of Saved Recipes! I used to login with my email address and password. Now they force you to login with a Samsung account. As a result, I've lost hundreds of recipes. I'm so mad!
Downloaded this app after getting advised by samsungs online chat that it has a barcode scanner for adding food in the UK. No scanner available. Very dissapointed i was lied to about this as you would think with the level of tech Samsung seem to boast about that this would be simple and standard.

this app used to be amazing, and ever since Samsung took it over it's been terrible. it never imports ingredients correctly (even when each item is in a list format) and it signs me out constantly. don't waste your time, use a different recipe app
adding ingredients to a recipe has an awful UX. pretty clear no one at Samsung has done it. why are there so many clicks? I should just be able to hit enter and immediately add the next ingredient. the same goes for steps. that secondary view is just no bueno. make it simpler. it would also be good if I could tell the app that unrecognized ingredients are fine and it should stfu

This was a totally awesome app, but the latest update has wiped all my recipes saved over goodness knows how many years plus it's now forcing me to log in all the time. Why? Just why? So infuriating! Most of my recipes were from BBC Good Food so I'm just going to use that from now on. No point in continuing with Samsung Food with all my saved recipes gone. Bad!
Let us sign in with Google accounts again. my husband and I shared an account, but now it has kicked me out of everything, and can only use his phone.
I did not sign up for this. why are you trying to charge me I contacted the people they said. NEVER RECEIVED A REPLY
Used to use this more but the search feature is so bad now. I can type exactly what I'm looking for and everything except what I want comes up :/
