Does not circle playlist tracks, it goes rogue. Won't lock in repeat it keep resetting to play all whenever Bluetooth reconnects. Start playback automatically is security hazard I can't turn option offŕ

Used to be good but after the September 2025 update it keeps making duplicate artist. And the app updated a few months ago and today, and they still haven't fixed the duplicate bug.

Samsung stopped supporting Windows .wma files. Now, about half my music library is unplayable.
Latest update completely broke it on my S9+, crash-city. Spent so many hours building playlists...... please fix it, super disappointing......

I've been using this app for about ten years now and recently it has really gone downhill. First there was a glitch that made a new artist even if you had previous albums from that same artist, and changing meta data didn't solve the issue at all, and now artists that I have had on my phone for nearly that whole time have been getting split into different artists despite me not editing the metadata in anyway. Samsung needs to fix this since this is the only half decent normal music player app.

As soon as I downloaded the app, I noticed something. No search bar. I looked for all the music. None. I saw some text saying, "You need to download music before anything is displayed here." I HATE downloading music. And it didn't even tell me how to for that specific app. My advice is to make the app more download and go like Amazon music or Spotify. While still keeping the download music feature.
app sucks but verizon says this app is for voicemail now which i think is stupid cos it doesnt even hook to bluetooth in truck to listen to a vm i really think ppl need to leave apps the way ppl have them set up
since updating to one ui 8.5, samsung music has no audio!
i dont know what happened in my samsung music app. the music is not properly playing. always cut in the middle or only just 1min long only. and always jump in the other song even if its not in shuffle. please fix it. i canot enjoy properly.
Been fine until Tuesday when it literally just stopped playing anything! No idea why. I can select a song as usual, but it refuses to play anything. Using VLC now as that works fine!
terrible experience i mean when did this app get so bad no equalizer settings and once again your favorites songs songs can't even be found along with other Samsung app always have contast bugs
what is wrong with you samsung?! why you removed custom equalizer for galaxy buds?! why can't I listen to my music with my buds on my own eqalizer setting anymore?!!!!!!
I used to love this app and would create playlists and put the songs in order of how I want to listen to them. however, now, the songs do not play in order of how I created the playlist. The Playlist is not on shuffle, and still, they just play random songs throughout the playlist. I've been using the Samsung Music app for years and never had this issue

the equaliser is not working consistently. Set it for 1 song when it goes to the next it comes back to natural. plus the sound quality is very bad.
There is no 2x2 widget available even though it says so in release note for the last release 16.2.44. Please fix

will only now play any album, folder in random order there is no way to turn off shuffle even after following online instructions.
it used to be great, but why did the tracklist shown on my lock screen change all of a sudden? no matter what playlist I choose, the track list on my lock screen stays random. It's so hard to find the song I want now.
it's so basic, just a music player, nothing more. You don't even have the option to put lyrics on music you're listening to, and it also doesn't have a "play next" feature ...
I can't belive that in 2026 this app is missing some of the key features every music app should have: ability to "play next" a song, reorder the queue (upcoming songs), smart playlists...
please bring some new designs, themes, GIVE US MORE, this is a lame app because it hasn't been upgraded in a while.
