It has taken me over an hour to login including 38 minutes on the phone with the helpline where they told me to go back and forth between the website and the app trying to work out all the login details. It needs 10 numbers for one bit, 5 numbers for another and then a password that I will never remember as it won't allow me to use a character that I want to. Argh
Profoundly disappointing. Why should I be subliminally pressured into buying a new batphone, while this one works perfectly, simply because 'you' have decided to upgrade without considering the interests of all customers? it is, after all, ultimately our money not yours. Shame on you. Thanks but no, thanks. I will buy a new phone when *I* choose to. I am confident that you will not respond to this considered comment, but you did ask for feedback. suck it up when you get it! Bye-eeeeee.
I'm sick and tired of having to keep updating the banking app, it's absolutely ridiculous

I need to prove my ID but the app won't scan my ID, I am following the instruction but it keeps saying it has problems, this is stupid that I have to go to a branch when I shouldn't need to pay for parking and stand in line in the branch, when I get this sorted out all money is coming out.
The worst app and the worst bank, all because I choose, like many billions of people, to buy a new phone, Santander decide that I must be a hacker or fraudster so block me from my own account! A scammer with the correct login and account details no less 🙄 Shame their security isn't as great with ACTUAL scammers! Time to find a new bank I think!
When it works it's fine but it's so temperamental, haven't been able to log in for about a week, the app just closes itself. Has happened in the past too, it just periodically stops working
Unable to pay credit card, the icons are continually loading! I downloaded onto another device, and I'm still having the same issue.

this App is rubbish. Constantly demanding ID picture/ documentary confirmation...then it won't let you take your pictures! Is this the " loop " folks refer to ? Wish I had stayed with OTP text to get into my account instead of these shenanigans! SORT IT OUT OR IM MOVING TO ANOTHER BANK !

if you restrict my online banking account because i dont have a in date passport and you feel the need to age verify a account knowing the age of the owner im switching banks entirely.
Delays in transactions? What is wrong with this app recently? I make a transaction or transfer and sometimes it shows immediately and sometimes hours later? Really frustrating and not helpful in managing my account Everything is up to date and thus started over recent days. e.g. I made a payment to my credit card and did an internal transfer from my savings to my 123 account. Balance didn't reflect and neither transaction appeared until overnight.
:edit: this is in the app, not on a browser. If the app uses the (only) browser on the device to open this page, it is still a santander app issue. UI bug on Boosts pages. The red menu bar at the bottom is hiding important information on boosts (specifically my offers -> activated, but occurs on all pages). I need to email a company as the boost purchased is bogus and all I can see is the top half of the sentence "for enquiries please email" and the page won't go any further up.
Stopped working on GrapheneOS. Reports the phone is rooted, when it is not. Will be switching banks.
Another useless update - PLEASE PLEASE get rid of that fixed menu making the app almost unusable. yet another update where you've added new features NO ONE wants, original complaint still stands - please please remove that fixed menu covering most of the screen leaving just a small area for the account - this makes the app almost unusable - ridiculous
It crashes and closes after the splash screen. Very disappointing. It was fine when it worked, though, but I can't use it now, so I'll have to get used to using OTPs and the web interface.

Why is there a need to have to keep updating the App every week or so? It was updated on 2 June 2026 and now requires updating again. Blooming nuisance.
i was a victim of theft , was given a crime reference by the police, my card and details were stolen from my property, i am an aging vunrable man of 60. i live alone and suffer mental health. When my benefits went into my account which ive had for 40years i had to phone to get acsess to my funds, but after a short period was advised to open another bank account, i begrudgenly did this but payment went to santander and £250 was taken by the bank, i felt i was robbed again! should never happen !!!
takes uptoomuch space/memory on my phone !! not happy as forces me to delete other Apps.
