horrible experience and costing me money. you guys can never fully fix the issue with the personal mileage - commute deduction - round trip!! it went from bad because I always had to adjust it, since when I sync it the miles would be incorrect. To now, I just it to rhe correct miles - now it tells me "error: You have manually changed the distance, please review the distance or the adjust the route." the commute from hasn't changed! this is literally costing me hundreds each week. gas is $6 gal!

this app is useless, I have to change the timeline for my report, which you can't do on the app. if I try to login to the browser, it then opens the app. so then I have to uninstall the app before I sign in the browser.
Terrible, always glitches, does not save receipts or always have errors uploading a receipts. full of software bugs..

this is the shittiest app ever!! it cannot read text from a printed receipt and accurately load information in. I submit expense reports it they have no errors. they show up to the approver they have errors. what the f***. The app takes forever to load and make adjustments to expenses and if the phone times out and goes to black screen it's an error. there's nothing to stare at and nothing to work on. the app is slow as hell. I have asked my employer for a different way to submit expenses.
the app was fine until recently when the Expenselt setting was turned on automatically, and now I am unable to turn it off. so disappointing.
Incredibly frustrating. So many clicks. Upload a receipt and then it's unclassified. Pick a category and you'll get a pop-up that your changes will be lost. The admin design must lack guardrails because you end up with illogical requirements like having to select that a receipt is attached right after you attached a receipt. Most reports cannot be completed on the mobile app at all. Receipt scanning is inconsistent, and good luck with currency exchange inaccuracies.
Still cannot turn off ExpenseIt since last update. Extremely frustrating!
Has to be one of the most unfriendly user interfaces that I have ever used and there seems to be no support available.

Rubbish app fed up of setting up biometric everytime I log in.
Annoying after most recent update. ExpenseIt won't stay off. And when you tell support about the bug in their app they tell you that you'd have to contact your company's admin. Already did that, already cleared cache, already reinstalled app. It's a brand new bug in your app.
I can't enter the city of purchase for some of my expenses. I have an expense report due, and I can't submit it without the citys entered. There is no help for this in the app or website.
too many implications in the app, some updates we do are saving in web better than this application. it didn't justify as a portable sap concur experience
No longer the more convenient method for expenses due to forced AI "expenseit" features. You cannot disable it. Forced AI scanning of receipts while warning you that it may contain errors (it always does). So now I get to do twice the work while interfacing with my thumbs on a mobile screen. Brilliant 😐 Can't wait for the bubble to pop, but i just wish the charlatans and anti-humanists would actually suffer more when that happens.
AI has completely broken this app. Ever since the "AI" tag has appeared everywhere the app has been making all kinds of mistakes. Auto merging completely different transactions, attributing random locations to purchases and mileage (somehow my drive from Florida to Arkansas was a New York purchase, which got me audited). On top of all that the servers are incredibly slow, to the point where changes made in the web version will take hours to show in the mobile version, assuming they show at all.

Sorry to say, but This's has got to be one of the worse experiences I ever have trying to deal with an app to do expenses reports, is just A Hot mess, And I really don't even know how you ended up having such of hight ratings been that This's an extremely problematic app, my card even got blocked cause I try for months and even when back to my companies HR and managers and not even them could help me with the Issues, If I could give you 0 starts I would definitely would

it doesn't read receipts very well
Used this app for years only to do expense reports and it is the WORST. The app crashes constantly. It takes forever to upload receipts. It takes forever to create expense reports. It takes forever to transfer receipts to the expense reports. The "auditors" that review your expense reports are the DUMBEST PEOPLE ON THE PLANET. If you have any other options, do NOT use this app!
The bane of my existence as someone who has to travel and expense for work. Too many errors to even write out. SAP going under would be some of the best news of my life. More and more AI constantly making errors the user has to correct if the app even boots. Please just shoot me. The Expenseit feature was removed from the android version for while and now its back and its worse. The AI expensed items now continually change even when you are trying to fix them. Vibe coding will be the end of us.

Slow, clunky, formatting bugs entering prices, cannot control decimal points, defaults to random dates on reports. Constantly fails to load screens and flashes up different content, frequently shows outdated content. Several years later: just as bad as ever. constantly requires sign in every few hours despite enabling biometric login, and still requires constant, slow server responses on every single screen and tap.

took 2 weeks to receive payment becaust 'A.I. audit system doesn't work on the weekends' and your report wasn't submitted on Wednesday to meet the 2 day deadline, even though you didn't get charged until Friday, oh, and you cant sumbit payments early, and you can only submit one report per week. TWO WEEKS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

Used to be great but recent update makes camera take huge data sized images of receipts which take ages to upload and then crash the app when it tries to then load that image into a thumbnail on expenses tab. Work around is to go to expenses and quickly delete before it tries to load the thumbnail. That stops it crashing. Then take a picture with your normal camera and upload photo instead.
the widgets are worthless. the app is clunky. I wish I could go back to expensify, but it's my employer's choice not mine.
