I'm not sure how the devs and QA tested this app. Most things don't work, and it's ugly. When placing trades, entering the limit price has been a big hassle. To enter a price, it takes you back to the first index after each entry. Like, if I try to place 5.5... It's just crazy. Because of this, we can't even do options easily in the app. Hire better people for the job. I really mean it.

Though a reasonable brokerage, the mobile app is extremely frustrating, antiquated, and the many prompts, pop-ups, etc. lead to delays in trade submission that leads to monetary losses. Painful navigation for modifying/canceling orders and then returning to a desired account. A complete rewrite is needed.
"if something isn't broken it, dont fix it" the new update is a step back towards what matters to your clients but what stood out the most is removing the ability to easily switch between time ranges when looking at Indices under the Markets tab. Now there is no way to see percentage performance on markets unless you pull up a graph and a calculator. who in technology and development thought it was a great idea? smh
People responsible for crypto feature should be fired. Can't even transfer fund, "You have entered an invalid business date. Please reenter." Making fund "settled" in brokerage account alone takes a week, if you're not ready for crypto, don't release the feature, it's miles away from Robinhood.

Hands down, this is one of the worst apps out there. It's extremely slow, and half the screens don't even load-they just get stuck on the loading screen. The security process is another nightmare. There are way too many questions and unnecessary verification steps just to access my account. A simple passkey would make the experience much better. And to top it off, customer support is another headache. Overall, it's a very frustrating app to use.

this app is clunky and not worth using. literally garbage even after update the forgot password link doesnt work. Just stalls after pass code is input. literally yall are worth billions. hire someone to fix your app
Can't even log in. Keep getting error message. Website works fine.
Doesn't allow me to log in, keeps looping back to the sign in screen. I may need to find a new bank.
The app doesn't work the services don't work nothing works. I tried forgot password once, my number was blocked on the backend so I had to call with a different number, my verification call magically went through after being hassled with security blocks I was surpassing (I went through 3 different security checks and finally complained that I was giving away way too much information by the time the person on the other end quit). Now I'm getting an error on the password reset screen, as if.
Zelle QR scanning just shows a white screen, then crashes the app.
There is ZERO customer support, the only support you can get from them is just a sympathy if something goes wrong. I had to contact them three times in 15 days period. I cancelled my open order and it went to Pending Cancel and it took them 11 hours to cancel my order. Today APA stock traded through 33.44 which was my stop limit order and it didn't execute. I ended up losing more money, the agent said these order are not guaranteed Lol. How about you guys close the business.
What happened? You had it going until recently It was fast, navigation was easy. Now it freezes, it hangs, it loops, No Login. Did you replace your coders with AI models trained on a fax machine?

Im going to move all my money because I shouldn't have to update my app to a bigger app they won't let me see the money without updating but the last update was may 21 2026 and it's mid June.
last update caused me to not be able to log in. it buffers after i enter the pin. this is theft, for i cannot reach my money.
What is Schwab doing! This app is terrible. Schwab needs to pay attention and learn a few things from Webull and Ninja Trader.
I've been a Schwab customer for 21 years and love the banking service. But on the brokerage side, they only allow automatic monthly investing into their own Schwab-branded mutual funds e.g. SWTSX/SWPPX - nothing else. This is to incentivize their own products and add friction for non-Schwab funds e.g. an ESG ETF of your choice. If you are a responsible long-term investor dollar-cost averaging into a non-Schwab fund, look elsewhere. I am switching my family to Fidelity who have this feature.
New interface stinks.
I've been prompted many times on opening to enable notifications. If I don't want to enable notifications don't harass me every few opens about it.

I'm having extreme difficulty just logging into the app after being logged out. with no code going through to my number, after 15 YES 15 ATTEMPTS trying to call customer service within a 2 hour span. I'm giving them a 1 star and. PSA their AI answering machine is broken beyond belief. still no resolve to the situation. I have assets locked in this account... this is a problem.
this is the worst financial or banking app I've ever used. it's so counterintuitive. I just wanted to see my balance over time and I had to call someone to figure it out
They update it a few times a year and have managed to produce the worst product available. The user interface sucks. Why didn't they use any of the TD Ameritrade software that they bought? I've voiced my complaints with customer service and they literally do not care.

The app does not work like Ameritrade app used to. There is no connection to the advanced charts eg no Money flow, the MACD, RSI or Stochastics. Today I cannot even download the app.! What a waste of time it is to continue with this Schwab account. Today is another down day & I am dis-illusioned by what is being "offered" by Schwab.
Outdated, data streaming is slow and not intuitive. So many steps to put on an options trade. It's 2026 people, update or deprecate this.
Why is there so much empty space and a lack of information... Bring back the Ameritrade app. Simple, easy to read, and has the data you needed on one page.

Why the latest update made the font too small to read when its says only added new features and fixed bugs. I don't like when you you're about to get comfortable with the UI and a new update chages it again. please don't play with the UI when its not broken, and make the numerical fonts biggers, it's hard to see for us 60s and older
This app has been used on this Samsung phone for many years. Today, per app's request to update, I did. Now the font, button and line sizes are much bigger than they were, that made the app almost useless because only a few info can fit in a screen. For instance, data and buttons wrapping to second line, it is very user unfriendly. I looked into the app setting, there was no tool to adjust the font, button, or line spacing sizes either. This version of the app should never been released.

Horrible experience. Out of 5 financial institutions this is the only app that wouldn't allow me to link my bank accounts online, and customer support was absolutely useless as well.
Oh no - I just updated the mobile app and everything is reduced tiny....the writing, the charts, everything has been reduced. DO NOT UPDATE!
The Investment Income amount amount keeps dropping by approximately $8000 overnight on a modest portfolio without explanation. I asked multiple Schwab staff to have this corrected. One of them told me that I had a good idea, but they would need a lot more people to complain.
With every update, the screen is more cluttered and now displays false balances. I miss the TD Ameitrade app.
made font stupidly small
Forced to change from retirement app. The app goes into a circular login error but not an error. Can't login as says my credentials are for the retirement account. I go to create account and it won't let me as it says account already created under the retirement account. Can login on the website without issue. Sheesh.
Screen bounces as info populates!!!! Lack of displayed information compared to competition.
The new update glitches like crazy when on the order entry page. I prefer the Schwab app over ToS but will have to start entering all my trades there.
Today I'm having trouble typing the price for options. Typing the price on stock/etf is still ok though
Kinda dumb that the app doesn't tell you what companies are in a ETF! It's the most basic of necessary information and the app won't show you. Even Robinhood does that!
I don't like it at all
I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and I use the app as of it was a normal phone, but being optimized for it would be nice. Add a Refresh button instead of swiping down to refresh. How am I supposed to navigate a chart when it tries to refresh the screen rather than move the chart? I get incorrect market values and percentages. I had a failed call option that would tell me it had a $150 mkt value and when I try to close it changes. Also inputting numbers for an order is bugged and irritating.
there's bug in the latest iteration. the " review order" button disappears after you type in a number into the purchase with dollars or purchase shares. please fix ASAP
every time I want to check my balance it has been very difficult. I didn't have this problem with the previous two brokerage houses.
why does this app need to be updated every 3 days
