Worked fine for years but tonight it asked me to log in again (usually I'm always logged in). It wouldn't accept my user name and password. So I tried on the website. That rejected it too. Now it seems my account is locked as it says they need to lock my account until they "triple check" everything is secure. What's going on Screwfix. I need my account working.

I've had to uninstall because of how much slower it is than the website
screwfux are selling tools knowing the manufactor won't honor the 3 years warranty. i bought to attention that company won't honor their warranty to whuch they ignored

I wonder how much Screwfix spent on an app that is somehow worse than the book they used to do.

Works fine, just that all the API calls the app makes, and/or the rendering, are ridiculously slow, making the experience of using the app frankly infuriating. Every UI response takes at least 5 seconds, even just clearing a popup. Also reviewers here would be better to review just the app and not Screwfix itself as a company, which is actually very good
app use to be great but now cant order online to pick up materials as every time I come to pay the cookie consent page comes up and freezes not giving me the option to consent so now have to go to store and takes ages when its a large order sort it out Screwfix

the basket needs to automatically clear once paid its bloody annoying going back in to store with a full basket
please go back to browser only. this app is painful. slow, restrictive, crashing, only few items at a time and then wait for to load a few more just painful to use. I will shop less in Screwfix purely because of this app. update my review - have got to uninstall this, its terrible and so limited and so slow.
not all products available for delivery. why would I pay extra when you cannot deliver 😒

Horrible. The website was much better. Adding and updating the basket is glitchy. I get the message "Something went wrong." and that's it. Need to do it a couple of times before it works. Loading next batch of product while browsing takes a long time or I get the message "Something went wrong". Google pay works when it wants to. Most of the times I get the message "Something went wrong". So "SOMETHING" needs to change. Also the new kiosks at the shops are the same.
I am unable to run this app on my samsung tablet or phone, however I think that I may have found the reason. I use an app that requires VPN to be used and the Screwfix app doesn't seem to allow VPN. Not having the catalogue and unable to use the app has saved me money as I have stopped buying from Screwfix.
Doesn't work at all. I've installed and uninstalled multiple times and its never worked.
No Rewards?????????? Ive literally spent thousands and rewards do not show. It keeps showing "update now" in the reward message bit and you click on it and it takes you to the playstore where its already updated but still doesnt show Rewards. whats up with this?
have used Screwfix for years but now when I log in on the app it doesn't work . I can't log in not even put my details in! so I went to continue as guest..find what Im looking for click collection then it throws me back to the log in page which doesn't work hence why I went to the guest page in first place! absolutely pathetic!
the app just does not work. I have a account and have done for years. yet since last update it does not work. put in my password an email says does not recognise them so I click on new pass word add email get emailed a new code write a new password then says does not recognise email. which it must off as it send me a new password code. rubbish. use tool station new.
this app will steal your personal data such as bank details and share it with third-party companies , awful

Despite re installing app loads of time it locks on loading screen making it impossible to use . Use Screwfix daily so keep getting emails to use rewards, can't get to them . Pretty useless really .

What has happened to this app? Can't get past the "loading content" screen!! "Force stopped" it....cleared cache...uninstalled and reinstalled but no joy. Been happening for weeks. Oh well....Toolstation it is then!

I only installed the app for the ability to collect my order and I have no idea how you do it. There's no button to say you're at the store anywhere, no"I'm here" function or whatever. I got the app to do one thing and it doesn't do it.
very glitchy and unreliable app. also my rewards don't work so I'm loosing out on all the vouchers. spoke to customer service but they were unable to fix it
keeps telling me to update to latest version. Uninstall and Install again 3 times. even 2 team members in shop done it for me but still won't allow me in to it.
on galaxy s26+ you can't add the last product to basket on results page as it doesn't scroll down enough. also when viewing photo you shouldn't disable back button

Slow to load up, and when you try to check out it keeps failing. website works no problem Needs to have the bugs fixed before I reinstall, would be worth having if fixed
Plagued with adverts and reviews by absolute morons, can't trust a single thing on the app
I love Screwfix, but this app is so painfully slow that I often just use Amazon instead. Also, where are the safety ratings of PPE? You can't search by ISO or EN number, and the descriptions don't always have the rating.
The app is nice and speedy. I would use it all the time but it has two major flaws, so I stick with the website: 1. Once you go to a product, I can't find a way to see and browse the category it sits in. For example on the website, if I go to a specific trimmer line product, I can then easily jump to the 'trimmer line' category. There is the 'Similar products' thing, but that's not what I want. 2. The bar at the bottom is white, but the nav buttons don't change to black as in other apps.
