Moments ruined conversation! So if you've looked or woofed at someone you get whatever naughty pics they are sending to 200 other gays. So real communication is at a minimum now. Also you can get canceled for certain emojis that have double meanings. Scruff requests that you have no nudity in profile pics but we get a lot of butts and avatars instead of real guys. My complaint is don't have standards and then be selective on whether you're going to uphold them down the road.

Ok I will leave you a review because you begged for one. I pay for the app. I have the toggle to not get ads. I get ads in addition to your review begging. I don't want ads. You are not Disney+. You are not going to get me to continue to pay you to double dip and show me ads.
Too much spam and fake profiles
constant location errors. app thinks I'm 6000 miles from my actual location and the all the guilds to fix it have failed.
same old bs as grindr... no filters so if you hide or block profiles that you are not interested in, a hundred fake profiles fill the gaps...
I was a paid subscriber for YEARS! Something happened to my profile, whether hacked or deleted, I dunno. Customer service slow to respond and incredibly unhelpful. The app itself isn't too bad, but good luck if anything ever happens to your account. Seriously the worst customer service for any paid subscription I have ever experienced! How difficult is it to find the profile of a paid subscriber?
I have zero interest in "moments" . no I HATE the intrusion of them. HATE HATE HATE. what is this Instagram gay edition? please get rid of it , or at least give an opt out.and scruff won't stop pushing them and sending me notifications about them, and I can't disable them. real close to deleting the app.
too limited to the United States. I have already sent feedback via ticket generation . in this day and age it should be inclusive of any part of the world. even Europe is not on the search let alone cities of England.
Falsely accused of spam messaging. Banned from app. Customer support won't even load.
That went downhill fast. 2 profiles suspended in 2 days for "spam" and support tells me further review is required. Clearly someone turned the AI up too high because I haven't been chatting, let alone spamming. Good job ruining your rating so much though.

DON'T DOWNLOAD! This app is just as bad as Grindr. You not only have to pay for the search feature, but the amount of guys on here that only want supermodel twinks or big dommy daddies is toxicly commonplace. Don't try this app, and please ignore the fake positive bots, they're not useful. Oh, and btw, if your response to a bad review is "download the app you hate to talk to us by doing so and so", then that only proves that this apps creators only care about god damn popularity and profit.
INSANE PAYWALL! The amount of BASIC functionality that's locked is completely wild, and unacceptable. The app only lets you read the last 20 messages in a conversation! You can only see the first couple pictures when someone unlocks an album. and if they send them individually through messaging, they're going to be hidden by the time you finish complimenting them. You can't make an album of your own. $10 per week for *BASIC CHATTING* is unforgivable. I

getting close to uninstalling the app. I just get spammed by messages and woods from people half the world away. why? why am I being pimped out by the app on another side of the world? like if you want to feature me, feature me locally or at least within the same country I'm in.

I was suspended for repeated spam messages that I never sent. In fact, I rarely, if ever, initiate a chat. I tried to straighten out the issue months ago, with no luck. You have to send a ticket to explain your problem & then someone finally contacted me about some number needed from my android. So, I just gave up. Tried again today. Same issue. I'll never bother with or recommend Scruff to anyone. How could I be suspended for Spam I never sent? Bad customer service. 0 stars!
Pay to chat. Its weird forcing people to pay just to see your chat. most conversations I just move to another platform so I don't have to pay to see my chat history.
they unfairly blocked my account from sending links ever again because I was sharing a few links of hobby information with a friend last night. basically they're punishing everyone because the software developers don't know how to create spam filters. this company is something else, what a joke

The new & nearby is far from nearby & as for the match facilty, most of the profiles on it are bogus accounts & scammers trying to access the personal info of its customers & putting our privacy and safety at risk. Instead of shoring up its security for the clients. I'm afraid to say in an attempt to keep new ideas and innovations fresh, customers online security is being compromised
Decent app but almost every feature is paywalled including basic things like message history. Madness.
a lot of the profiles are more than 3,000 miles away, meaning not in USA. most guys are tired of seeing them here.
to much is locked behind a paywall, and the subscription rate is cheap. either consider lowering the subscription costs or stop putting so much behind a paywall.
lots of fake profiles, not as bad as grindr but still a lot.
