keep on asking for premium payment
At the beginning all analysis were free, after that you were getting a several free per week or month, now everything is paid. Additionally, recently they removed the total change of my holding each day, before it was very convenient just to open and check the performance of your stocks each day, now there is no such information.
I love the content and analytic capabilities, but the app is horribly glitchy. Apparently it's not autoclearing cache, as it gets totally gunked up and pages won't open. My initial attempt to resolve is by continually refreshing the page until it opens. Often that doesn't work, so the only solution is to keep hitting back to cycle through all the pages you've viewed in this session, until the app closes. Then you can open the page you are trying to access. Also, the beta AI agent is horrible.
Since this latest update my experience on this app is nothing short of unusable. They now have these AI tabs on my portfolio page which only allows for me to view 3 tickers at a time. Not good enough Seeking Alpha.. Will not renew my sub for a 3rd year if not fixed. Be warned potential buyers stay away untill they fix this clunky piece of unusable rubbish, waste of money.

very slow and most things are subs, which I get but must the analysts' are not good.
stock quotes no longer load in the app.
you can no longer research stocks with the fee version sad. need to make it easier to research stocks
"playback failed" error... on a text based article, interesting. what tracking or scam trash are they trying to load in the background. unsubscribed because the app was totally useless due to being filled with trackers and data miners
with the latest release it became barely usable. When clicking on the search field, it takes ages to get to the search functionality, which sometimes gives me errors right off the bat, sometimes works.
CAVEAT EMPTOR. tried to cancel before billing. site tricked me into thinking cancellation was complete but apparently I had unknowingly been signed me up for a bunch of other services I wasn't using and they kept billing me for customer service kept saying they would refund but liars never did feeling scammed. edit to add: repeatedly comminicated with support who said when I cancelled premium before the renewal period I didn't cancel the right premium service. never received promised refund
terrible. i had a glitch in canceling the trial. they snatched up my money with no refund. app is cool butvnot gamechanging

Very often when I get a notification for a new analysis or a grade change the app freezes when I try to open it from the notification. Lately it freezes even when I'm trying to open it normally. It's incredibly frustrating considering the price.
A lot of opinions from over analytic people that are guessing about like everyone else.
Too many annoying updates! literally this app demands you update the app almost every week.
not showing stock price
Ever since the update there is no more search bar in the app? once this gets fixed it is a great app.
app crashes all the time, takes a long time to load almost every time you open the app. they seem to be sending updates almost all the time which do not update automatically which is annoying: they want you to manually do it then restart the app which also takes a long time. App and desktop version: 1. lacks easy access to technical analysis features and defaults to a line graph which they dont allow to be changed. 2. no price alert feature for a stock reaching or crossing key MA's.
The Seeking Alpha site and/or app is pretty much unusable on any mobile device, especially for graphs. If you want to review graphs on a mobile device, I'd look elsewhere. UPDATE 2/23/2026 - I removed and reinstalled the app and no difference. The graphs are somewhat workable on the tablet but on the phone, the navigation fields almost take up more room than the graph, esp. in landscape mode. In portrait mode, the graphs are unreadable on my Pixel 10. Ultimately, too much info for phone.
Hangs up and doesn't open, often. Works about 40% of the time. Web access works fine, up 100% of the time. The App is a pain to try and use.
I wish would have had this a long time ago 😭
