thieves!. I packed the books in the box, checked twice then sent inpost to be told the most expensive books were not recieved. they were defenitely there as I packed them all together and they are def not still here! so £15 went down to £7 for 19 items. why lie when they are worth so little to begin with. I could have sold on other platforms and got several £ more for the books and not be treated like a mug.
Consistently rejects one or two items as "not received" despite me double checking them into a single box and securely taping it up. I guess they work on dropping a few pence here and there to improve their profits. I won't be using them again as there are better alternatives out there.
The books valued at £44.50 got £31.00 .! I was meticulous in checking they were all in the box. Many books were rejected without pictures of why ( unlike we buy books who photograph any damaged books and show you proof and reason for rejection, they were significantly quicker processing order and payment. BUT..! to say that the Readers digest atlas THIS IS A BIG BOOK wasn't in the box when that book alone dictated the very size of the box is nothin short of ridiculous..!
Thieves and liars sort the books and claim either not received or not saleable condition. DO NOT USE
The app itself is good, but unfortunately they dont want most books that ive scanned and even quality hardback ones that sell on ebay and vinted for over £5 were valued at just 10p and 20p. Unless you're having a clear out and dont mind giving the books away, it isnt worth it.
doesnt accept any dvds
I have sold books to World of Books on numerous occasions and each time they steal one or two books by falsely labelling them 'not received' this time they attempted to steal £7 worth of books out of a £10 trade and this was the last straw. I personally packed the books. This fraud.
They give you a price after you scan the books and then once they have received the books they lie to you by saying that the books are in a bad condition and then offer you next to nothing. Then they say that they can't return them but they will recycle them, yeah - yeah. They will soon pick them up though. Avoid like the plague, scumbags.
rip off
useless
they ate a con kept saying they hadnt received part of package. 2nd was last time they are a bunch of thieves and know you vant prove them wrong and they dont respond so be warned
AVOID. SCAMMERS. Sent two parcels of books and Dvds and after a week got an email to say some weren't in good enough condition and will be disposed of and they won't return them. Nothing in the app says that and you no doubt need to wade through tons of T&Cs to see that. If I knew that they won't return rejected items I would never have sent them. I won't be using this app again and want my items back or I'll take the matter further. As far as I'm concerned your now stealing my items.
promo MARCHTIDY would not work!

Initially good then as they process your books they lower the trade price my first trade box started at £18 but final price was £7, there's no way to reject this and get returned, SCAMMERS !!!!!
