Horrible thing. Can't be used for it's intended purpose. Absolutely refuses to be used to print from phone. Only way to make it work was by installing Mopria app completely bypassing this Selphy app entirely.
doesn't work well with WiFi.
Cannot print when printer on local WiFi. only by direct connection. cannot edit photos in any way. cannot adjust colours.

Won't connect to my new CP1500
Forced to use the direct WiFi and not possible to go through router. And there is no option for the auto-recognition of the paper.
Really disappointed and annoyed! I installed this app to ensure compatibility with my phone before purchasing the QX20. App installed, looked good, but when I bought the printer I found the app won't connect to the printer. It's installed an older version of the app on my phone and won't allow me to upgrade to the current version. I've searched for an alternative app but nothing else works. Now I can't return the printer or paper or ink because they have been opened. What a waste of money.
You can't have more than one phone connected to it. I share this printer with someone else which means I had to factory reset it to get it to connect to my phone (which it has 0 indication about having to do) which means he's gonna have to do that again to get it to work with his phone when he wants to use it next
The bookmark layout is no longer available, which is disappointing. The app now offers a different layout option, but it doesn't function the same way. The original bookmark layout was much more practical- it accounted for the spacing between the two columns and included a helpful cutting guide line, making it easy to neatly split the photo paper in half. The new layout lacks these thoughtful details, making the process less convenient overall.
App works Getting a new phone to register to the printed is a fuss and a confusion and such much hassle. Because the instructions are not clear!
some photos aren't showing up in the app. there is no way to share from the photos app.
Hadn't used this app for almost a year. It's unbelievable the backwards difference it now feels compared to whichever version I now need to go and find on alternative app stores. Why do some companies now feel the need to change the UI just for the sake of changing it (or "updating"...) When tweaking photos (be it angular, or the other dials/options, the numeric indicators are gone! Also no option to adjust the different sliders by touching on buttons at the edges, just a non-clear dial approach
it is not a great program. There are not options to edit the photos
Owned a CP1300 and now a CP1500. I replaced my CP 1300 because the cartridge jammed and the sheets jammed in the print roller. I thought that it was perhaps due to handling but it turns out the same exact thing has happened with the cp1500. The print quality is excellent but using the cartridges is problematic because if the cartridge jams the print cartridge is ruined and it is difficult to extract that cartridge without damaging the printer. Spend your money on a Pixma 6000
