You guys deserve 3 stars at best, my YT app does a better job than this shiz ever could
Scan the music too fast. Not even 3 sec already trying to find the music keep popping out the wrong song. wish there is an option to scan for how long

2026 and same thing is happening once again 2019-I used to love this app. Now it doesn't even work, since the last update it tell me no result for songs it has previously identified. The update prior to this last one seemed to cause this whole not being able to identify songs. I guess it's now time to find an alternative app to identify songs.
my phone was forced to update this app and since the update it is absolute TRASH! Shame on whoever approved the new update, you ruined your product. New Shazam can't recognize "live" versions of songs. Old Shazam could easily pick up which song was bei played, even if it was live. Old Shazam found EVERY song except maybe 2 or 3 throughout the years. new Shazam can't even pick up a clear song playing on YouTube one foot away. what is wrong with your company that you would make your product WORSE

It seems reliably knows only actual apple music catalog. What a joke.
The previous version was MUCH better in all regards: functionality, appearance, simplicity, and interface. Now, I was forced to upgrade to the latest version - that is cumbersome to use, has a hideous black background (though I later figured out how to change it), and overall seems too complicated and user-unfriendly.
