started off great. but eventually you learn they don't too much care for the drivers and the support is not that great. the app will constantly crash on you from things like processing or even delivering because sometimes the addresses aren't accurate but you will still be penalized and they won't forgive the stats like the messages that they send you say. of course if the stats don't reflect near perfection your account will be canceled. some of the same orders are on other apps for more $

Overall a good app, but the customer service will treat you like you're an idiot. They routinely allow customers to order out of stock/nearly out of stock items, and not every customer is responsive. Better than doordash, but don't overextend yourself or they'll fire you without any real appeal process.

I worked as a Shipt Walker for six years as of today. If you are in New York City and you're a Walker, then you probably should look for a new company to deliver from. I could not bypass their vehicle prompt, and I called customer service only to be told to rent a car for the vehicle information. I do not drive at all! Why would I do that? No one in their right minds should recommend that to a non-driver.

​Shipt is a joke. They demand the most labor, strict metrics, and "above and beyond" service while hiding tips. Why waste hours shopping for a mystery payout that barely covers mileage? DoorDash, UberEats, and Grubhub show pay upfront for 1/4 of the effort. Even the true kings, Spark and Instacart, provide full transparency for shopping. Shipt wants maximum effort for minimum pay. They are being blown out of the water because professionals don't gamble. Spark is far superior in every way.

App crashes on a daily basic, support agents gives different informations each time i contacted them. They sent out notifications that they will "forgive" all the stats affected by their outage but never did. when its not even my fault to begin with, you can't even call it "forgiveness ". The customer expects you to run around the whole store getting everything for them and deliver on time with $1 -$5 tip and have to message them to chat even when there's nothing going on with their order 🙄

shipt customer service sucks! They are rude and unforgiving. They deactivated my account when I had great reviews and was a preferred shopper for a lot of people. My rating never got below a 4.7 but that was due to traffic in the city of Atlanta so deliveries would be a few minutes late which customers understood living here so points were deducted by ship but I still received good reviews by the customers. They are not a good company.

We cannot shop orders for stores not affiliated. West Main orders go to west main store. Westnedge goes to Westnedge store. Stores go by inventory. If I were to shop a west main order at Westnedge it would throw theor whole inventory off.

New rating system is just another excuse to make sure you don't reach Summit. When you ask support anything you will get the full run around from agents closing chat on you to eventually hq telling you to email a different support team so they can run you in circles some more. Other drivers will get bonueses all week, but you will get excluded( have picture proof). Offer prices have also gone done yet again despite rising gas costs. Used to but no longer would reccomend to anyone.

poor app, majority orders are late popping up and go 45 minutes into the delivery time before refreshing (delivery is 5pm-6pm 545pm . they do not care if you hit traffic doing long distance orders. you'll get let go. they do not even pay enough for half the orders. where I live the nearest target if you live out in the estates is almost 35 minutes away.. don't waste your time dealing with shipt unless you live within 5 minutes or less. you can request them to update stuff and they never will.

Then we get bad ratings for something out of our control. Rating forgiveness is denied within minutes, which raises serious concerns about whether reviews are actually being checked. Shipt needs to fix messaging and ensure fair rating reviews. Until then, shoppers are being penalized for app failures.

Shipt claims to value its shoppers, but they let picky customers drop 1-star reviews (or sneaky 3-4 stars) on hardworking, reliable ones with zero feedback or reason given. Then those same customers get confused when a newer shopper does worse, it's because bad customers caused it by getting the experienced high-performing ones pushed out. Shipt prioritizes customer complaints over protecting the workers who actually make the platform run. if i could give less than 1 star I would
