Got OpenSwim Pro today. I installed the app, setup the headphone, and having connectivity issues using Bluetooth, and unable to sync local audio in MP3 Mode. After 30 minutes, the application used 17% of my battery. I uninstalled the app, and no more connectivity issues.
Absolutely useless, will not connect to headset despite my headset effortlessly connecting to my phone. The app is pointless.

Fails to detect an OpenRun Pro headset on a Pixel 6a running Android 16. The headset works perfectly otherwise. Tried factory reset for the headset, reset the BT stack on the phone, fiddled with BT scanning and the developer options, inspected the BT stack logs, rebooted and re-paired everything, but no dice. Ah well.
Headset connected to my Pixel and it can't find it. Also, I shouldn't need a special app to manage my headphones.
Needs a simple feature to work better. I have a pair of cheap bone conduction headphones that handle multiple devices way better than this more expensive brand. I can have both my phone and computer connected on the cheap pair and it simultaneously let's me go back and forth and automatically goes with the new dominant sound. Whereas Shokz lags so much just to detect and switch. Often times I find myself having to disconnect Bluetooth on 1 device just to get the other to get primary sound.
Does not support all of shokz products. lame!!!

Imagine you have your headset multipoint paired to your two phones (work and home/workout). This app can't work on both phones using the same email addresses. Also it can only work with 1 of 4 headsets I bought from the company. Not even just to show battery level. Sad.

Useless app unless you have one of their supported products. They don't give you this I do unless you go searching.

Open DotsONE is not ideal for calls. It does not isolate your voice, which means that if someone else is talking nearby, the person you are speaking to will hear them clearly, and your voice will be reduced. A software update is needed.

won't connect to open run device
The app requires access to your location, camera, personal information and contacts! Why?! I have the Open Run Pro and I never saw an update for them or additional option. The headset doesn't support HD sound or spatial sound and the app is pointless.
So few models supported, what's the point of the app when so many of the popular models are not supported.
Lies. Says on description "does not share data with third parties." AWESOME. Downloaded this Shokz app & the first thing it says is "shares data with third parties that may be outside your jurisdiction." Wait, what? If you hit "disagree," your only options are to "disagree & exit" or let it share your data. WTH. What happened to doesn't share our data? Bad Shokz. Hey Google!

doesn't find the headphones DESPITE THEM BEING CONNECTED. Absolutely useless for the open swim pro. save yourself the money and get a different brand because the actual headphones are just as disappointing and they don't properly connect to your phone half the time, meaning they won't play any audio. I'll give the headphones back tomorrow.
can't find openrun SE. it is listed as unsupported device in the app. but you don't tell me this until after I register an account and do everything. lame. you don't support updating firmware on SE? returning to Costco.

downloaded the app to activate classic bone conduction mode on the shokz openrun pro 2 but the option isn't there. the whole point of the app is to change the EQ modes and it does not have it
- the Android app was unable to connect when the headphones were multi-connected to my PC (using the dongle). Other than enabling multi-device and firmware updates, this app is incredibly low featured. ie. no option to disable the voice prompts (ie. going in and out of mute). No option to configure the multi-function button. Etc. ie. vs. other earbud apps (Jabra, Nothing). Will prob de-install the app since it adds so little value.
so far it's garbage - asks for a serial number I can't read and then when it says it's searching for a device it can't find it asking me to make sure it's near and connected to my phone (it's on my head and I can hear music coming out).
my headset always drops to zero volume after it's been in it's case and holding the one in my right ear for an eternity is the only way to get the volume up. I'm sorry for anyone else dumb enough to waste their money on these. maybe there will be a firmware update hopefully soon. but if you haven't bought them yet just buy sony or senheiser
I can't even register my open run headphones because the app doesn't recognise my serial number. Plus the app won't connect even though my phone has connected fine. total waste of time.
not support for all types
This app can't find my headphones even though they are connected to my phone. I installed the app because these headphones are useless for performing a call. The caller on the other end just hears garbled nonsense when I am speaking. I thought the app might have some settings for the microphone but it can't even find headphones paired with my device.
I'll change this rating when they add custom EQ presets that allow customization of the use of the bone conduction driver. Why can't the subwoofer and conduction driver work synchronously at full capacity? The classic mode shouldn't be a strict mode. Make it possible to incorporate bass! Please also make it possible to separate left/right functions. Some people have a disability in one ear, making the bone conductor beneficial for one and not so much the other.
Useless app. Despite being paired it doesn't recognize my Shokz at all. Happy with the headphones but the dev team responsible for this needs to be replaced.
I have a samsung fold phone and am stuck on the first screen after registering because the button is misty need to tap isn't shown on my screen format dimensions.

Brand new headphones (OpenRun SE) just bought from a major retailer. Turns out it's one of NINE of their own products their app can't even connect to AT ALL. Last Shokz product I'll ever buy. This headphones is going back to the store.

People are complaining about background noise. I couldn't set it up, or the noise cancellation really works very poorly.
Meh. Well, you can see your headphones. Not much else. No button customizing like you can do on much cheaper headphones. I bought OpenRun Pro for the app and I am disappointed. There is a EQ preset, but it isn't persistent.
