While I'm sure many companies also include tracking numbers, the company I ordered from ONLY gives tracking through the shop app. They will only tell me it shipped via email, the actual tracking requires the shop app.

Horrible, I had ordered my prom dress off a online website (I know horrible idea) and tried to track it off the app but never received ANY updates on the dress or shipping. Worst part is that I NEVER received the dress and had to find something last minute mind you I brought the dress on April 1st it is now May 7!!!
Update 5/7: I didn't think they could make this worse, but they did. With the latest update, my past orders that are unshipped are no longer at the bottom of the screen. Nope. Now I have to scroll through every single past order I've placed trying to find the ones that are outstanding. At this point, the app is no longer useful to me and I'll be uninstalling it. Way to make a fantastic app completely useless.
Too many ads. All I want is updates for my packages, I dont want to look for my orders. They should be on the home page
**EDIT: Developer response to this review is utter rubbish and makes no difference to the functionality of the app.* "TRACK THIS PACKAGE WITH SHOP!" the website proudly exclaims. Ok, where's my tracking details? I still have to click the tracking link in my email to get updates, sure, the app can see what I ordered but still reads "Waiting For Details" despite the item arriving today. Poor form, an entirely unnecessary app.
wrong me every time I order something
Can you lot please fix the unsubscribe on emails? Like I've had to unsubscribe from mailing, from the shop app, for products I saved at least 20 times. At this point I'm almost willing to go to the feds about this cause this, is law in Canada, it's anti spam legislation. An app notification is more than sufficient to let me know a product I like is in stock. My email is for correspondence, not to get gummed up with spam, Amazon doesn't do this to me, they just notify of shipment, that's it
it's fake app
Shipping notifications are not a separate category of notifications that you can individually enable. If you want shipping notifications you have to let them clog your notifications with ads. Not even necessarily for a specific company just "hey you should spend more money please." Disgraceful.
I just had this app send me a message saying I bought a $500 Apple gift card. I can't find any way to report fraud.
I don't see the value in the app vs looking individually. I don't see any savings.
Forcing people to download and sign up to track packages, then it provides no tracking info.
Tried to use this app to track a delivery from Eddie Bauer; it asks me to log in with my email address, then tells me to enter the code that it has just sent to that address. Problem is the code never arrives. I've tried multiple times, checked my spam folder, even checked on my email provider's server, but no luck - it simply doesn't work. ETA: the same process works just fine with the Eddie Bauer website, using the same email address, so using different email not a solution.
giolb a business in this shop app stole my money. I had ordered 4-18 and it's 5-7 and still not received my order, I was getting my dad a denture kit for his birthday on the 16th and these rip-offs are taking people's money and giving bogus tracking numbers. so no stars for this app
This app is always inaccurate and completely useless. Only thing it's good for is transferring you to the shipper to get accurate info.
rubbish still waiting for an order placed on 1st of April sent numerous emails but no response from SHOP
I am not new to anything that should effect my use of this app. I downloaded to track 1 order. 1 singular order. Why do I need a middleman for that? I do what my order confirmation says to do. Thus the nightmare began. Log in. Verification email sent. Verification sent to my phone. Log back in? Ok. Verification email sent again.. Verification sent to phone. Copy & paste. Not hard. Why are we going in circles. Here I am, 7 verifications later and I still haven't tracked my order. I hate this app.
I love finding great deals at shops selling items I already know I want... unfortunately that is now incredibly difficult given the stupid ai assistant they force you to use instead of a regular search indexing system. I don't need a robot to explain to me what the product I'm searching for is. I already know. Because I'M SEARCHING FOR IT. If I wanted more information, I'd go to a search engine. When I search in the app, I just want to see stores that have exactly what I asked for.
