Apparently this app doesn't work in the USA because "catalogs" s showing Madrid Spain even when I allow "locations" looked promising, but I don't plan on going overseas to do.my shopping.

Since the October 2023 update. I can no longer add items to my list. It tells me the item has already been added when it hasn't and it is not there. Tried both typing and speaking to add the item(s) and get the same result with both. Please fix quickly as this has been a great app up until now and I would like to be able to continue using it.

Seems like it should be simple to write an app for a shopping list. I just want something I can either use my laptop or my phone to put items on and have them sync. I guess i could use some kind of cloud service to sync documents.

To the dev team: I have noticed a bug that seems to occur when editing the names of certain items. This deletes the "price history" of that item. In turn, when moving the item to another list, As there is no longer a price history, price is not available in the cloned item. This leads to a lot of unnecessary time re-pricing items. (Giving 1 star as this may make this issue resolved faster, apologies as I like this app so far)
The business model for this app was initially a one time fee, which I paid. After a while they moved to subscription based, which is OK. What is NOT OK is that in order to not get adds, I now need to start paying the subscription. AFTER I ALREADY BOUGHT THE APP ONCE. The solution from the developer implies sideloading an old version of the app, which then updates to the newest app version automatically. Refunds are declined as well. SO NOT OK!
Clumsy, unintuitive interface. Switching to another app then returning to Lister would cause all the check marks on your list to disappear. Unusable...
When I try to add anything, I get a pop-up "Action failed to execute" and asking me to email the status link. Their reply is that they have "many emails" and it will take 2 weeks to respond.
That is unacceptable. I purchased the full version but developer thought that was not enough so I'm seeing ads anyway! Why did I pay my money then?
Feel robbed, as I've had adverts popping up, after I'd already paid for the app. Was a reasonable app, but now adverts keep popping up all the time, there are better apps, that do a better job and are advert free for this kind of price.
Already paid for pro version but still got ads and ask to pay more annually again. Rob money app
Why not just increase the cost for new users. The ads seem to be right in your face too. Sadly deleting a good app
FRAUD! CONMEN!. I paid to get rid of adverts. I parted with my money on the basis that I wouldn't be pestered by adverts. Now the developers has moved the goal posts and wants me to start paying either monthly or annually in order not to see adverts. That is a total rip-off and fraud. If the developer wants to introduce monthly or annual payments, then it should apply only to new purchasers of the app, NOT to those who have already paid for no Adverts! Total rip-off!! :(
Developers have switched to an expensive subscription model. A reasonably decent app, but under the new pricing scheme I cannot recommend it. There are much better options available.
Paid for a pro version and now need to pay monthly or yearly subscription to not have ads . Pretty sure that's extortion! Avoid updating app if you paid for pro version
I paid for no ads! Now you want me to pay a subscription for features I don't need or want. You tell me to turn off automatic update to stay on version 8. Not so simple, I must then selectively update my apps to NOT update Lister. Why not have in-app purchase for additional features...oh, you believe you'd earn less subscription income because most users don't want additional features.

Can't sync, I have Uninstalled and updated. Everytime I try to sync with my husband I get an error and have to email tech. Not very convenient if we have to have separate lists.

I'm still trying to figure it out. But I know for sure that Out of Milk is finished! I've had the paid version of OoM for years, & it is kludge nowadays.
Have used and loved this app for years. No incident. With new phone, it doesn't seem to perform as well despite using it the same way. When selecting the item (long hold) to check it as purchased, nothing happens. The only option is to modify the item which I don't need to do. Have tried changing the settings of the list, uninstalled and reinstalled wirh same results. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but hoping it's an easy fix. Otherwise, would give it 5 stars.
Serious screen orientation bugs on tablets. My tablet is locked on a screen orientation of portrait mode, as is Lister. Nevertheless, when I exit lister my screen orientation frequently (but not always) changes to lanscape. I have to go into tablet settings, unlock the orientation option, shift my tablet to change to portrait mode, and then relock the orientation again. This makes lister annoying and frustrating to use on tablets. It's fine on phones.
