Jhaatu app, wasted my 50 Rs
Was a very good app, but then randomly started charging and now it doesn't load. Look for alternatives.
Can I get money back? the tutor is not adequate and is too basic

I'm a new chess player with no knowledge of the game. I am looking for a chess app to teach me how to play. This is the second app I've tried and unfortunately, like the first one I tried, this app does not explain, show, or teach you how to play either. This app gives you tactics to try but tactics are rather useless if you don't know how to play chess. I will keep searching for an actual beginner friendly chess app.
Elo scale is horrible. Don't let your kid get discouraged by playing to against a "1400 Elo" opponent. What a joke.
Forces draw when I clearly will win.
Used to work fine offline without google services. Now they require a google services online check and signed into the account that paid for the app, ridiculous.

It was great until the update. For the tactics feature, we are forced to tap "try again", "stop" or "continue".. Which is a hassle.. Previously we could tap anywhere on the screen to dismiss the message and continue playing..

There is an unexpected problem that I am facing When I open app and want to play it always goes blindfold mode(invisible) No chess pieces show on board.. Plz resolve the issue
It's been years and the have been no improvement on the app. No review of your games or puzzle arrange in categories to practice a specific part were you need improvement.
I have lowered my rating from 5 stars because Shredder chess has failed to evolve at all. Yes its a strong engine but that's really it. Do something to make it better. For instance, when it says "that may not have been the best move. Add why? And have it explain why and what it leads to. Add more teachings like classical openings, defenses, variants and again, (a why button if you try variants), famous games library. This app is so old and has changed zero. It 100% was not worth the 7$ I paid.
Interface is barely usable, and trying to use the rating slider is pretty frustrating. I mean, just for fun - I should be able to set it to 1600, not 1601 or 1597. Elo rating scale is a joke anyway. Too bad the entire package feels like 1995.
Feel conned. Bought and installed on tablet, can't also install on phone without paying again. If this is intentional then it should be made clear that each device needs separate purchase
