Scammer company bought the app a long time ago, just go on apk mirror, download an early version and never update it. It's free and without ads. That's what I did when the scammers got the app. their replies with "Rest Assured" it's the cliché scammer language, just go watch any scam baiter video and you'll see. I reported this fraudulent company to Google couple time. I really hope they'll get banned to sell. they'll probably flag my comment and I don't care. Scammer. Full of fake Reviews.
dont try recording on laptop, its horrible, the voice doesnt come true so dont waste your storage on this app if your on laptop Chromebook (Hp)
This app has become unusable. I am not paying a weekly subscription equivalent to 10% of my monthly income. I can't use it without 10 minutes of ads. You have earned yourselves an uninstall.

I don't know why it takes so long for the app to start working the moment it's opened. not to mention, annoying ads playing at the most inconvenient of times.

Can't get past the ad at the start
used to be a good app, now its filled with intrusive ads. i cant even record anything now because i get an ad every 5 seconds, and it doesnt even let me X out of the ad after i get it. its just stuck on the ad screen forever until i leave the app and come back, which then typically leads to me immediately getting ANOTHER ad upon opening the app again. its just an endless loop of ads and never being able to record anything.
It's a scam, it claims there are no ads, then as soon as you open it, you get an ad. And it wants payment to not show ads.
This app served up an ad that I literally couldn't exit out of. It even made my OS back button not appear. Took a minute to figure out how to take control of my phone back. SO UNACCEPTABLE!!! This company was originally data conscious and respected privacy, hence the name. They were bought out and the TOS changed a lot. Deleting this app.

forced ads. forced permissions, recording function worked like garbage for ambient noise intake. terrible. 1 star.

Full screen ads for a voice recording app, save your time and find another app on the store, bound to be one thats not a blatant money grab like this.

Pros: records sound. Cons: Unbearable, constant, heckling, full screen, in your face adverts. Recommendation: uninstall the app, bin your phone, throw the bin into the sea, set fire to the sea.
pay wall and constant ad bombardment
It works but... Ads are very disruptive and sometimes cannot be exited without closing the whole app. Subscription fee is so expensive ($15/week) that it seems more like a scam, where people forget to cancel their free trials and have to pay up for a very simple app.
