new skullcandy products such as dime 3 (the ones i have) are "not supported" please fix this 🙏 update: as of june 20th 2026, 2 years later they still are not supported!! i do not understand how after two years they still arent supported, this is messed up!
DO NOT INSTALL I REPEAT DO NOT INSTALL. I used it for my Skullcandy crusher Evo 2 and bass on them has failed. I thought I was imagining things but then I searched up and apparently it is known case. It didn't work even after reset. Wild guess but good chance they done this on purpose so you buy new headphones either way I'm disappointed.
Had zero issues with Spotify IQ and now I suddenly can no longer adjust my volume using the 1 second hold for my Rails DESPITE what my button settings are. Disconnected, uninstalled, re-paired, ALL THAT and they are still treating 1 second hold as Spotify tap, BOTH earbuds. Extremely annoying.
since they switched from skull iq which was good to this garbage the app is horiable. Takes minutes to connect just to disconnect for no reason. They should have just kept skull iq.
Shortcuts don't save. nearly every time I pull my Rail ANC out of the case I have to re-bind my earbuds to my bluetooth, re-open the app, and then re-modify my shortcuts and turn off voice control. The app experience has ruined the Skullcandy brand for me, and I won't be purchasing another of their products as long as I live. edit: Emailed days ago. No response. No, a response to my review on the other app doesnt count. I've emailed separately regarding my issues here and heard no response.
You will have to repair your headphones every time you wash to use them.
horrible experience, automatically swaps your custom buttons to try and force you into using Spotify tap, constantly tries to enable voice ai. cant customize half the stuff you should be able to. want to turn off automatic call awnsering? cant. want to turn off auto pause? cant. want to turn to stop it switching to stay aware whenever you take one out or put it in the case? cant. cant do so many basic features, yet they will forcefully try to shove ai slop and useless updates down your throat.

app is way 2 difficult 2 use now. Very unhappy with it. I'll buy Sony or Bose 2 replace both sets of Skullcandy headphones that I have. this app is pitiful.

Why is this app so bad? It's just the opposite of useful. It takes way too long to connect to the headphones and it keeps trying to connect to my CMF watch every time I open it, which is not at all useful. They should look at the Soundcore app and try to be better.

Not Supported My Skullcandy crusher wireless and App Not working
This thing doesn't even work properly. For example, the Crusher sounds exactly the same at 100% as it does regardless of how low you turn it down until you actually have it off. The Skull-iQ app still properly adjusts the Crusher, which I personally like to listen to somewhere between 40-50% so this needs to be fixed, for sure.
how the hell do you do a software update and the earbuds SESH ANC stop charging with the pod? that's nuts. to make it worse, the first thing the Skullcandy app says the Samsung Watch 4 is not compatible. seriously who cares ??? 🙄

I'm finding this application quite frustrating to use It's consistently failing to perform its core functions as expected it will not stay connected to my samsung TV also connecteing the app to my phone is always a tasks this behavior is making it annoying to use this app I was hoping for a smoother experience with the TV because that's my main purpose of having this headset i truly hope the developers can address these issues soon
The app didn't recognize my earbuds were connected when I tried updating the firmware even though it said they were connected in other parts of the app. I had to unlink the earbuds, restart the app multiple times and it finally recognized the earbuds were connected. Then, when I finally updated the firmware, it still said it needed to be updated and it still said I was using the old version... so, I updated the firmware again... then the same thing happened! Then, I had to force stop the app.

Needing both earbuds in to even change the equalizer is absolutely stupid. Even then it still doesn't register that both are connected and won't let me change anything in the new app. Moving back to IQ to have an actual functioning app.

App doesn't not work well. ANC2's will not do the firmware update, goes through the process but nothing happens. Once I turn off my headsets, it doesn't connect to the app. I have reinstall the app for it to work. Also, none of the features with via the app. My phone is a Galaxy Z Fold 7.

why? SIMPLY WHY you CANT just make BETTER versions. this app is big and useless. i dont need sales pitch. i need a app to SETUP BUDS like the IQ app. PLEASE DO BETTER. EVOLUTION IS GOING FORWARD. The EQ suck. i cant even change it from my tap shortcuts. anc is glitchy and so poorly made give me headache as soon it gets over 30%. find a better brown noise. find a better team that focus on performance and not sales. im about to go back with bose. I STILL HAVENT received my 540 replacement... 1 mo
rubbish setup taps it doesn't remember the settings constantly resets so whenever you use 5he buds you need to program it all over again
New app but cannot compare to the Skull-IQ app. This is more of a sales app than a companion app for my ear buds. I'll stick with IQ thanks

I don't like the sound customization on this app, BUTCHERED the quality & performance to my earphone speakers!! "Skull iq" had the customization set toward's 6 sound octaves, an they were all labeled to know what yu were changing!! This app configuration control only has 5 sound octaves, an they are NOT LABELED!! Also the customization barely even changes the sounds performance on this app, which means yall programed THIS APP to barely even raise the sound performance!! WHY WOULD YU DO THIS?!?
App keeps getting worse. Just bought a pair of Method 360s, and now Im seriously considering returning them. I have two pair of Crusher 2's that I love. Wanted to stay in the same eco system for my earbuds that I use for sleep. App just updated as I was listening to a podcast, trying to go to sleep with ANC on for the one earbud I use while falling asleep. After the update, App says both ear buds need to be on for ANC to be an option - W. T. F. Pretty disappointed that I keep losing features

Skullcandy are wizards with their hardware, but terrible with every software they've ever released. Every time I turn on my headset, I have to open this app, change the EQ profile to anything else, then change it back to custom for it to actually apply, even if it was already selected. They tell you to contact their support, but all they do is tell you to reinstall the app/pair device. Then they say they'll submit the problem, only for it to not get fixed after a year! The PC app is even worse.
This app is unfortunately busted. Despite connecting my earbuds to this app multiple times and ensuring the model of earbuds I was using were covered under the app's range of functionality, I am told the earbuds I am using have no features at all despite me being told otherwise in the app and elsewhere. I paid for a Skullcandy product and now I feel like I ended up getting half of one. This is the very first time in 15 years that Skullcandy has disappointed me.
PLEASE ADD UPROAR ANC!
