Design is decent, execution is terrible. It keeps logging me out and sometimes I cannot even log back in. At some point, it disconnected from my calendar and I lost all my data including my subscription for premium features.
For a week now, the calendar shows "Nothing to do today" for each person, although there are daily recurring routines and chores set up. I've notcied this to occur daily from the first use each day. When I try to access the app, it freezes on a blank calendar before sending me to the login screen. Usually, after some time (1 hour or more), the wall calendar and app will eventually load, but this leaves this expensive calendar completely useless while it's waiting to self resolve.
app does not work after update!
most of the time it fails to send pictures and the retry function to upload pictures has literally never worked.

After a few months of working fine, it now logs me out and does not allow me to log back in. Having a shared calendar with an app was the whole reason for buying this product.
I would not recommend this picture frame due to the app instability. For the last 2 weeks I have not been able to upload more than 1 photo as it keeps crashing. Before this, I was only able to upload a few photos at a time due to the app. I am very disappointed and will be seeking a refund if not fixed soon
Forgets account information, does not update on reinvite.
the app isn't working. I open it and it just is blank, never loads. have Uninstaller and reinstalled and does the same thing. once its fixed, I will change my review. But right now I give it 1 star. I would give less than that if I could.

app doesn't load at all, pretty disappointed. tried logging in, went back to the login page after putting in info, closed app, reopened it. went back to log in and it just shows log in and it's greyed out. uninstalled, just will have my wife use her phone instead. not working on s23fe at all
can't log in now. says my wifi isn't connected. clear cache and data. no difference. turned data on, can finally log in. turned wifi on in app. that worked.
Needs to have duplicate and copy to multiple dates. When someone has a rotating schedule, it would be better to be able to select an event and copy it to another day or multiple days. The repeats option does not work in this case. New to the app, came from Family Wall that allows you to do that, but does not have a tablet wall calendar.
we have started to see issues with the tablet on the wall and the phone app is practically unusable. trying to edit a task is almost impossible since it jumps back to a different user. Searching for a recipe when planning freezes the app. it gets harder to use all the time. Would uninstall it if we hadn't had to buy the tablet on the wall. Might anyways.
This app is full of bugs. it seems like things that make it unusable come up almost constantly, like trying to search for a recipe and the app just gets stuck, which happens every time.
constantly had issues. I bought two frames for my grandparents for family to all be able to upload their travels and daily lives and it can never send all the pix and videos at once nor does it even get the same photos downloaded to each frame. ive deleted and redownloaded it so many times. so hard to track which sent and which didnt. resending almost never works. I wish I bought something better, this app is the WORST
Absolute garbage. Got it and started fine once you give it access to your calendars, then the screen shut off with no damage or drops. charger is fine. tried to get a warranty replacement and 16 emails later it started back on a loop asking for all the original info again. Feels like a scam. look elsewhere and save yourself the headache. don't offer a warranty if it's impossible to get a replacement. would rate 0 stars if I could.
Completely unusable. I can't even log in anymore. before this issue, nothing would load when I could log in. I have updated and it only got worse.
Poor login experience. When trying to use a password manager the login screen goes back a step if you have to tab away from the app and come back in. Also why even log me out? this app is not as important as other apps just leave me signed in so I don't have to continuously re authenticate.
Trying to make an account. They send a verification code email to finalize the account creation. I minimize the skylight app to check my email on my phone. The skylight app closes the page automatically that I need to stay open for me to go back to where I enter the verification code from my email. I try again, same thing. So I need another device with my email so I can complete the process. Really really stupid. Really Really annoying.
I can't even log into the system to sync up with my wife on this family calendar. It seems like a glorified, power consuming paper weight. The fact that there is a yearly fee for only a single person & calendar to be displayed is a joke for a subscription that is supposed to help family productivity. This might be a great product for individuals, but it just doesn't work for families. I wish I had saved the $500 & used it on something that actually helped the family stay on track.
Probably the clunkiest app I've ever used. It has like 10 buttons, it's not that hard to code especially for that price...definitely not worth it.

Update: Open the app and I'm met with a feature banner that can't be removed 😕. Still leaving 2 stars. The app should be rebuilt from the ground up after a year of complaints seen in the reviews 😕🤷🏾♂️ Functionally the app "works" but that's all it's doing. It's clunky and there isn't a smooth transition.
I really wish all I had to do is push a button to sync my calendar as that's what's it's supposed to do. it's way more complicated that that though. it's frustrating considering how much I spent on the calendar. Oh, then you have to "Pay" for extra features! Like I didn't spend enough money buying the calendar! very frustrating!
its almost impressive how much they try and charge you for having a touch screen calender but then they also have the balls to charge you a subscription for photos
App doesn't work. I really love the calendar but the app is terrible. It won't let me edit or add events/appointments. I cannot create a new list using the app or edit an existing one. The only thing the app is good for is seeing what is already scheduled and checking off something on a list that I added from the tabletop calendar itself.
It keeps logging me out and will just keep asking me to log in again. It is also way too slow.
I've had Skylight Plus for a year, and I don't see myself renewing. On my phone, the widget is worthless when it is always at least a day behind. On the Frame, the days on my calendar that have plans will occasionally be entirely blank, requiring a refresh. Changing recurring events are hit and miss. Finally, whenever adding a recipie to your calendar, the app ALWAYS asks if I want to add the items to my grocery list - no way to disable it, likely by design since they partner with Instacart.
