In poor connection cannot send messages it takes long time. No notification on Android auto. Lagging freezing and slow. P.S. No group messages transfer, usability sucks, and still don't have Android auto notifications. When opening correspondence with someone there are just black page. Im using Galaxy S26 ultra. Guys fix it please.
The Auth flow is horrible. It requires the code but the code isn't sent. The whole "spaces" concept thing has poor UI. You can't find when to check the signed in devices. Settings on the desktop are scattered and confusing. And I hate the notification sound. Even once a month.
very poor and had to drop project because of this app not working correctly.

this is the singularly worst UI for any app I have ever encountered. try to figure out how to log out and it takes you 15 minutes. the confusion between workspaces accounts invites events there's just too much going on and no one has given the thought to redesign from scratch they just keep adding and adding and adding to the confusion of using this app
Isn't it paradoxical that a productivity app is optimized for engagement instead of productivity? I understand why Facebook doesn't want to give the user a way to see all their pending messages in chronological order. What is Slack's reason?

Not reliable. I turned on all notifications but they don't pop up. So I'm missing a lot of important stuff.
huddles working fine over desktop but since a very long time huddles doesn't ring over my mobile phone, really pathetic.
i want to join a call and it asks me to rate the app, getting in the way
I have integration issues when doing huddles on two devices. I wanted to chat on my phone while sharing my desktop screen
Really awful experience just rings once like a notification tone even when someone is doing a huddle/call invite on the slack missed so many meetings because of it

one of the most chaotic products I have ever been forced to use
the browser version is made deliberately bad (and practically unusable on mobile) to essentially force you to use the app. I don't care how good the app is at that point, whoever made that decision can go sleep on a lumpy mattress in a slightly too hot room.
update 2 years later. no change, this is still a horrible UX. With each update, this app becomes more of a burden to efficiency. The fact that so many businesses choose this is less about its superiority than the lack of a viable alternative.

the whole company switched from Viber and now the communication got fragmented and difficult to keep track of ... and we're paying for it 😅
