Was messaged my order was ready for pick up but when I arrived Joeys pizza was closed and waited and knocked and nobody answered so I went back on the Slice app for text support and to let them know what the situation was and they daid they weren't able to contact the owner so I asked for a refund and they are refusing to refund my money without speaking to the restaurant first. In the meantime im not able to feed my family
it does make it easy to order from small shops. However, don't let them use your location to get your address. their system doesn't have correct addresses. This made it so the driver delivered it to the wrong address. They are very unhelpful and will not refund it!
this is not a good app they charge a service fee to use. Most places allow you to order without paying a fee to order from them. I will not be ordering thru this app again.

this app exists to generate spam emails. no matter how many times you turn off emails in marketing preferences they'll keep emailing you. paul k with their support team was so helpful in telling me to do the thing I'd done 10 times. I still get the emails. I report them spam every time but they keep coming. Edit: they fixed that issue after this review! the app is still awful. I opened up a restaurant from maps once and can't look up any other restaurants now
I no longer use Slice because the prices on Slice are higher than on the shop's website. in addition, the specials on the store's website are not available on Slice. Now I call my orders in and pay less.
support is actual garbage, the app made me order twicr somehow and i only got 1 pizza, said i had ring footage of only getting one pizza and support refused to help, ended up calling the pizza place and got way more help then your trash team update: took me an HOUR to get a regund from them and ya couldnt even help me in the slightest in 2 days
I had maybe 1 good experience in the beginning now they are always atleast a half hour late and just today I never ended up getting my food at all after waiting 40 min past the delivery time and now need a refund and had to order from somewhere else! I even seen another 1 of their drivers who I thought was mine but was delivering for 1 of the other units so clearly they can find the complex and even she said that was bullshyt for how long I was waiting! smh
My first and last time using this sorry app. I set my order for delivery and when I placed the order somehow it was magically changed to pick up. I reached out to customer service and they said nothing could be done. Reached out to customer service again and still no help. I had no way of picking up my food which is why I needed delivery. This is the WORSE delivery app ever. I will never ever use it again. You guys are the worse even at responding to a bad review. I chose delivery!!!

The address it picked for me was wrong, and it isn't able to allow me to put in the right address. As an app to order food, isn't that the bare minimum that has to work?
seems to be full of malware, crapware, bloatware etc. Perhaps spyware too.
this app is always off on the order placement and timing from the restaurant for pickup. every time i use the app my order has been ready for 15 min or more but app does not update. result cold pizza.
Absolutely abysmal customer service. I placed an order to a restaurant who hours do match what they actually work. so obviously when I showed up to pick up they were closing. They kept saying they didnt have an order for me and that I could just cancel it On my end the order showed completed and picked up and my account were charged. After being hung up on and played with by 4 different Slice customer service representatives I will not be using this app again or ordering from that restaurant.

pizza never delivered
Delivery kept getting pushed. Told the restaurant I'd pick it up myself but driver showed up and stole the pizza. Support was terrible. Slice is awful, something told me to stick with Uber eats.
text said install this to see order status. they then required location enabled or address and didn't display order status. I just wanted to see my existing order not given tech bros my address
This app is terrible. Provides a ETA then auto updates to a later time frame once you meet the original ETA. doesn't even provide a status update. used this for several places and they all operate the same.
If you contact customer (non) service through the app to tell them about a problem with an order they just end the chat after reading the message. And if you request a transcript of the chat the app is coded to just give you a generic error message instead of the transcript. You have to do a screenshot if you want a record of the chat.

Delivery never came with my food. Spent $54 and didn't get anything. When I reported it to Slice? Slice was like, "Let's hope it doesn't happen again." and refused to help with a refund. They're thieves.
use at your own risk. it's fine until there's a problem but then nobody's responsible for the problem. this new world where the customer has to deal with everything because it's all outsourced and nobody's responsible. if the order is wrong doesn't matter.. if you show up and they never even got your order at the pizza place doesn't matter. just a broker in the middle. wish I could make mistakes with my own business that didn't cost me any money

I used Slice for a while to support my local pizza place. I never had an issue until a few days ago. I placed an order for pickup, as I had done before, but when I went to pick up the pizza I found out that someone pretending to be a driver picked up my order. How can someone know I placed an order for pickup and go and STEAL it? My local pizza place is amazing and they re-made my pizza and gave it to me at no charger. This is a small business, so I will NOT be using this app ever again.
PT's pizza in levelgreen has gone downhill in the past year,every pizza I've ordered from them has been a big disappointment! They either come burned or not the way you called them to be ordered ,I'm not ordering from them any more because my money's too important to me and I wasted too much on them hoping for a good pizza and embarrassing myself when my friends came over for pizza and I swore up and down how good they were!
The high average rating for this app is misleading. read recent ratings and most of them are 1 star. for good reason. terrible unintuitive interface. doesn't make sense. just easier to contact the restaurant directly.
received burnt Pizza and Slice says the shop was only willing to remake pizza if we picked it up which we couldn't do. We couldn't wait as my husband is diabetic. Will no longer use slice.
Very unhelpful and abrupt .The order I placed was somehow changed to pickup from delivery in the process of entering my payment information. A company this size and they could not change it from pick up to delivery, makes no sense. They then explained it would be 24 to 48 hours before my money would be refunded to my card. Very Unprofessional. would not recommend downloading the app
Terrible app; nothing works at all, a total mess. App keeps crashing. Wastes 200mb storage. No name, no email. Merchant did not get order. Major fail.

Apparently a lot of people are having the same issues with estimated times and early notifications of when the order is completed. Really inconvenient when pressed on time. This App used to be awesome. update 4/9/26 I placed my order at 4:42, the Pizzeria didn't get the order until 30 minutes later, I'm on a time schedule. and I couldn't cancel. totally unacceptable.

Village Pizza in New Hope, PA made me download this app just to track my order. Then the app made me sign up. Then there was no way to see the order I'd placed. It just wanted me to make another order. Complete waste of time. Uninstalled.
The company is unable to send a receipt with a date or even give the date the order was put in. Not good for companies or group use where a reimbursement using a receipt is expected.
ordered a pizza for asap delivery. once payment was made, delivery time changed to an hour and 45 minutes later. no way to cancel or get help from slice. poor business practice.

Slice has gone down the toilet recently. It was great in the COVID years when other apps were under fire for gouging restaurants. Unfortunately it has gone through a series of bewildering UI downgrades in the past few years and is now practically unusable. If you can solve the maze to find something you want to order, you are rewarded by your delivery getting passed to a third party and taking 3x as long as Slice told you it would. Back to calling the pizza place I guess.
They charge both a service fee and a delivery fee. My last order totaled approximately $8.00 in fees. That is absolutely ridiculous. Add in a tip and it makes you not want to use the app any longer. Might as well just pick it up yourself. Whatever happened to the good old days when you had free delivery for pizza? Their greed is palpable. Also, Slice should have descriptions and pictures of menu items. This is for customers trying new places.
Worst company ever! My pizza shows up with cheese on 1 side an under the pizza an all over the box. Hence it was for 3 littles. I was told it was only worth 50% reimbursement that we can salvage ½ of it! SERIOUSLY if id had ordered it that way ok but are you human to respond with such idiocy! an 5 days later after full refund the rep could if done at the point of complaint.
Do not pre-tip if you use this app. Best off Just using door dash or Uber eats because thats who is picking up your food. If you pre tip and get terrible service Slice will not do anything about it because the Terrible service is not their company. So just use the delivery service apps and save money. I paid 1.99 service fee, 4.95 delivery fee and tipped 10 dollars on slice and got my food 1.5hrs after I ordered it and cold, when I reached out to slice, AI (Arlo)said there's nothing we can do.
I already ordered from the website and the app doesn't let me track that order. I have an order number, the app should let me track by the order number
