It is a total failure now. If you want to manually view pictures one by one, then you can use it. Google photos absolutely destroyed thousands of gif photos I had by chopping out all of the frames after the first one. I spent hundreds of hours collecting those. I'm unhappy this app now fails me.

it has all necessary permissions but still can't save edits and goes in rounds to point the correct folder etc. This started a long time ago and I had to find another app for photos. I kept waiting for the fix of Smart gallery but it seems it will never happen
was stoked until doesn't write anything into an sd card. it asks for confirmation by you choosing the root folder for it, you tap allow, except especially absolutely nothing ...happens.
Now it is not possible to set whatsapp profile photo directly. Very bad 👎👎👎
Have the add free paid version. Can not delete or move photos because it wants access to the root folder of sd card. When I try to give it access it is grayed out. Unable to choose root folder. Without being able to delete or move photos the program is broken.

This was the only gallery app I used over several years and three different phones. Sadly since a recent update the app now asks me to choose a root folder on my SD card, but when I go to the root folder the choose button is grayed out. If I choose a different folder it tells me it is the wrong folder. It never needed me to choose a folder on the past and I don't like this inconvenience.
It looks like a rather good knock off of Simple Gallery Pro by Simple Mobile Tool Sadly, I should not have paid for it. The Simple Gallery Pro listed above let's me choose a subfolder on an external drive (microSD), actually I cannot use the top level for security reasons (not my idea, Google/Andoid's). So, I cannot move a file where I want, so time to uninstall. At least the Show on Map feature works, but F-Stop beats you and Simple Gallery Pro hands down in that respect.
Won't let me transfer photos from internal storage to SD card. The instructions that pop up on screen to allow it are inaccurate and do not help.
Used to be an excellent app with no ads, now you have to pay for it, totally not worth the price there's better ones out there!

This app is horrible. I save favorites, this app in favorites them. I go to share a pic through this app, my phone freezes and I have to reboot. I will be seeking better gallery app.
This isn't that expensive, but this app is far too slow to be a pay app. If it was possible to get a refund, I would get one. Free apps work as well or even better in a lot of cases.
I paid for no ads and am still getting ads
Still an issue, from 11/24/24, to now... -1 star. The only issue I'm having so far is that the slideshow does nothing. Haven't had a chance to check much out, going it will start working once it's finished indexing my phone, if it does that... Not sure why, this is a Samsung Galaxy phone...
Got a few glitches. SD permissions don't work on Android 12. Not cool having SD card you can't write too. NEED UPDATE FIX, PLEASE. downloaded other gallery programs, SD worked find, but this is the one I paid for last year. So the problem is with this app. It deleted my screenshot folder for apparently no reason. Time for update!!!
Significant glitches including it will just delete the images you try to move if there isn't enough space instead of doing the sane thing and giving a warning so don't lose your media. Tons of awful slow laggy problems for anyone with a significant gallery. Which is a shame because the customizability and aesthetics of the app are top notch.
