much like everything they want to shove ai into the app. im not a blatant ai hater but theres really no use case here and all it does is slow the app down and make the experience worse.

app keeps requesting location permission for any interaction although not needed and I don't want to grant that permission. in dark mode, device metrics are showing with white background. is no one testing this software? Also many views are lacking dark mode implementation. And how can I fully disable AI in thus app?!
Will not connect device to WiFi. Completely useless...
pushing ai and random ads I did not ask for and pop ups has made it a terrible experience I am now considering uninstalling
The app is getting bloated with useless features, I JUST WANT TO TURN MY LIGHTS ON AND OFF! I don't need AI slop chatbots, I don't need my life managed, I don't need health advice, I don't need any sweet deals and subscriptions! You guys need to get a grip and a realty check!

Unable to use with Samsung S3 FE. All my devices have recently disconnected, and I cannot connect them back up. There are no option tabs and the display is very limited, unlike before. My friend has the same app, and it has fully updated with no issues.
Used to love the app, now it added tuya and the stupid ai is 1. useless, I never needed support the whole 6 years I've used this app 2. takes up my screen so I keep accidentally clicking it, and 3. has no off switch. Why in the world add a useless feature to an already well rounded app smh. I've legitimately been using my actual in home switches to avoid dealing with avoiding the damn ai, which defeats the purpose of using the app at all. what a disappointment
Remove the added AI, no one wants it. Make a stand alone app for that useless function.
Stopped working with dumb AI update, devices disconnecting randomly, commands not working. There is an alternative app that works as this app used to, its called "Tuya - smart living" i swiched to that app and my devices works as intended

since most recent update it changed my Internet connection to Mac! I don't have Mac. I use windows. nothing now works which is a disaster for a disabled person

Requires account, which would be fine if the app didn't ask you for you account number before you have created an account. how am I supposed to give you an account number if I'm not able to create an account without an account number???!!!
Calling this app "Smart" is misleading. It's one of the most frustrating, poorly designed apps I've ever used. Basic tasks are unnecessarily complicated, reliability is questionable, and the overall experience feels like a chore. To make matters worse, the app increasingly pushes ads, to the point where it feels like you can't do anything without being interrupted. I would avoid any product that requires this app. The app alone is enough reason not to buy into this ecosystem.

Since updated, all devices and automations completely disappeared. Forced to have an account now. Everything worked fine before. With the update everything is gone and it's even not possible to add the LG air conditioner again!!! Update destroyed everything and AI is absolutely unnecessary. Looking for another app!!!

Die Benachrichtigungen sind prinzipiell eine Abofalle. Digitale Souveränität: Fehlanzeige. Da steh ich lieber auf und drück die Knöpfe. Instant Uninstall. Zurück ans Zeichenbrett mit euch.
The AC routines are not functioning correctly. Even after trying the AI‑based solution, nothing works because the app triggers multiple unnecessary actions instead of executing the routine once. As a result, the AC keeps switching off continuously throughout the night despite high temperatures, and I have to turn it on manually.
was great for a few years. absolutely awful today that I am going to get rid of it. all of a sudden, 1 light was stuck on, then 2 then 3. I deleted them all and tried re-adding. I have track lighting on the same switch, and it won't add more than 4, and not the same 4. And once I add one, and then go in and try to add more, it deleted the previous one. GO BACK to how you were running a year ago. you keep adding all of these wasteful AI features, and you're screwing up your base product!!!
Need to create accounts for full functionality. I'm not doing this for a freaking door knob. Accounts should be optional.
AI search bar on every device page and covering the on/off buttons preventing me from being about to toggle devices
The new update made impossible to click on the settings menu when you try to set up your own notifications. It's now blocked by the Create your own Avatar button on top of it and it won't disappear no matter what you do. Fix this please.
stupid app and their useless AI support bot. I'm throwing out the brand new strip lights (all 5 sets) because the app can't connect and the artificial "intelligence" is useless. they want me to pay a subscription not only for controlling the lights, but also for AI support. chucking the lights and deleting the app.
Now with AI slop no one asked for. Give me a way to disable it!!!
worthless no ability to add anything or group anything
after multiple tries uninstalling reinstalling the program it just gives me a network configerrat error . so the program doesn't work I've got two $50 water controllers that are useless also

just installed it and while it looks good it doesnt do anything unless you subscribe. its the only app my device recommends so find that disappointing. would expect basic features to work for free and then offer advanced features for a fee.
