The app is pushing spam apps. very bad app. The app should be predominant not the add. The ads take over and are taking over the device. Difficult to turn them off. This app is not reliable as is. Needs better ads management.

this is absolutely garbage why pay a subscription to get 15 ads before you can even view your cameras.. I going to cancel and get something different.. don't waste your money! greed at its finest.

Avoid this company. They were good and now they are barely a 1 star. They force everyone to watch ads before monitoring your cameras. Doesn't matter if you're a paying customer like I was, you'll still be forced to watch the ads. Go to a different company.
this app was amazing and I would've given 5 stars after having it for years. however, they have recently added ads whenever you open the app which is an absolute joke. if im checking my cameras, I obviously need a fast response but now I just watch 3 minutes of ads before I can see what is going on inside of my home. do not recommend.
Why are ads on this app now?
I too have been using this app and cameras for several years, and have a paid subscription, but now when I open the app I see ads. By the time I'm able to view a device what I wanted to see has already happened. VERY disappointed. I'm looking at just cancelling and throwing all these cameras away since it's Prime week and their sub is the same price or better. PLEASE REMOVE ADS

Absolute garbage. I've used the cameras and app for years and now I have to watch ads before I can see my camera? Once I finally get past the ads, it doesn't stay on any one camera long enough to even see what is going on. The alerts are useless unless you pay for the cloud storage, otherwise it only tells you there is motion but you can't see what it is, and by the time you do finally get in, whatever is going on is missed. I'm switching away from this as soon as I can.
Customer service is awlful. A lot of glitches. Do not reccomend. Update: As of a few weeks ago, you now have to wait and watch 2-3 ads BEFORE you can view your live feed. Ridiculous! I will be cancelling my service.

I hate it. Horrible horrible, was bad when you add adds before we can access the cameras since yesterday now the ads takes even longer to go away takes too long so we can close it. Do you even realize that this are security cameras right? Time matter takes forever now so we can access the cameras this is absolutely ridiculous, when I signed up for the yearly package there was no ads on it I paid more than 300 dollars to have this? You guys want to have all people un installing app right,
I am highly disappointed in this app. I've been a user of this app for years. When you open the app to see why you are getting notifications (you have to watch a commercial or ad) hoping that your not get ripped off in the process. by the time you get see whats happening it's over and done. (im in the process finding a surveillance system) It only makes sense to not make ads the first thing you see when trying to view your cameras.

Buyers BEWARE!!! Been with zmodo since the free live footage days and now pay for cloud service for 4 cameras and the zmodo doorbell cam. The app is SUPER slow, the live feeds are out of sync by minutes, and access to cloud footage is nonexistent. And to top it off they now make you watch an ad before presenting your camera. All while charging a premium fee for amateur service. Support is also either a bot or extremely hard to contact. Just read the review responses, they show no concern!!
I previously gave this 5 stars. Because of the ads I have to watch for at least a minute with no way to close them, I don't recommend this at all. I'm a paid subscriber and these ads started about three weeks ago. I won't pay for cameras and watch ads when I try to open the app. There are other companies I'll be happy to pay for service
Free version used to be good enough a couple years ago but they kept chipping away at it and now you can't even start the app without hard to close ads or view the 15 sec recordings. Garbage
why am I paying $10 a month for a subscription and still getting just as many ads as when I was using it without subscribing. if I'm paying I shouldn't see any ads....I will definitely be finding a different app for my cameras. the delay in waiting for the feed to come up is so frustrating! I used to love this app but I'm uninstalling and unsubscribing as soon as possible if this isn't fixed. I found a work around pretty easily and it's much cheaper. this will be the last $10 you get from me!
We have the subscription for unlimited cameras and you now have ads!!! Unacceptable when I PAY for this service. I rely on my cameras to ensure my family and pets are safe!!!! I have to wait for your ads to view my cameras. Fix this issue immediately!!!!

im paying monthly for four cameras, and I cant even seen an alert when its happening in real time cause of fricken ads...... this defeats the whole purpose of an alert. but a few months ago there was never ads, but now you dont have that option. sounds like your money hungry and dont care about your customers 🙄

I use this app to watch my pregnant mares, so timing is crucial. I was horrified when I tried to open this app, and could only access a full screen advertisement. The entrance to Smart Eaze itself was a paper-thin tab, and clicking on it still went back to the ad. By the time I was able to get to my camera, my mare was down. This app used to be good. it's gotten worse and worse. It's unreliable and now seems to prioritize profit over quality.

Ads in a security camera app? And they're "exploring options" for removal of said ads for people that BUY their product? Sounds like someone took a course in "New Coke, or How to Tank Your Business in 1 Easy Step." I'll spend more for another companies products now, because this is absurd

They have removed every single helpful feature of their app. They now force you to sit through unskippable ads, with audio, which is hilarious since they advertise these as having audio and they do not. It isn't even useful anymore to look at the live view. Garbage. Scam. Dishonest. We have been paying for their clips service for years, and this is what it has come to.

I used to love this camera and app and recommended it to people. Then they added ads?! And not just banner ads, ads that you have to watch before you can see your camera. So when I got an alert I had to wait almost a minute to even see what it was. AND I'm a subscriber to?! If this was just the free version it would be one thing, but I actually pay for this. Its making me reconsider if I should even have these cameras.
The new ads are very irritating. I have 20 cameras and will be throwing them away and buying tplink cameras to avoid the ads. I am a long time 10 year paid subscriber and should not have ads forced on me.

Horrible ad promotion at the opening of my app! It delays if I need to see something urgently, and also the cameras take forever to show what they're viewing. I pay for a subscription, and this horrible and dangerous practice can delay action by the owner if someone is in danger. STOP IT NOW AND REMOVE IT! I'M FINDING ANOTHER RESPECTABLE, HONEST, AND AMERICAN-MADE CAMERA SYSTEM.
