App violates Google Play Developer Policy "Users must have a readily discoverable option to initiate app account deletion from within your app", and there's no option to do so in the Sonder app. Data/account deletion apparently requires a copy of drivers licence and a written form. No user selectable deletion option exists within app.
Have to fill out a form to get help. The form returns a 'something went wrong' message. Tried a few times. Gave up.
would not let me in with work email just went into a loop
Does not allow sign in using work email. Useless.
Does not sign in at all with the corporate credentials. just goes into loop.
Does absolutely nothing. Has no promised functionality. Should be removed from the Play Store.
wouldn't even let me create a password 😔 disappointed to say the least.
lame app no use
waste of time
cant even dl it. says not compatible with device
They can't even be asked to fix the log in page, if I can't log in, I can't use the app. It's unusable 0/10.
Poor quality and slow support
App keep spamming with messages even when you change settings to safety messages only.
Can't login with work email, extremely frustrating.
I type in my work email in the login box, then hit the next button. It says it's logging me in using my browser, and nothing happens. It just goes back to the login screen. What a waste of time.
Was ok until they automatically assumed my attacker was male
Useless app
It doesn't even open.
Another middle-man data harvesting app, this time for all your health information. Tried to access EAP and unfortunately the support staff wasnt really clued (no anger towards them) into how they specifically access your employee info to verify identity The justifications arent transparent and people can tell theyre being manipulated. App slowed down significantly once I started mentioning death in a chat. This whole app reeks. Canned dev response. Already took this to Ops manager at employer.
App doesn't open when I need it. So much for helping people when they need it.
Genuinely the worst service I have encountered, and an absolute travesty of an "EAP solution". If you want to receive regular alerts about irrelevant topics, this is the app for you. If you are hoping to arrange medical care, think again! All you will find here is a frustrating hellscape of a chatroom where various gatekeepers may eventually (if you are lucky, and patient) end up referring you to an external provider.
Hi Users, please avoid using this app. Instead, use your local emergency service numbers such as triple zero (000) or 911. I don't understand why McDonald is promoting this app to employees in groups.
Can't access my employer's EAP without providing my phone number. There is no way to reach the content unless you provide it and you can't opt out. It's invasive and complete unnecessary. Edit: Understood, but it doesn't specifically state that as a reason to seek personal information. It says, verbatim, "In case your safety or wellbeing is at risk, we'll use this number to call you."
Terrible social engineering....
I put my email in and it says, please enter a valid email. Tried again, no luck
I don't have this app. I have never had this app. Someone from the app came to my house while I was at work and told my wife I had never arrived at work and that my well-being may be in danger. I was at work the whole time, and no one had called my work or my boss to see if I was at work or not. My wife has her own mental health issues and was distraught afterwards. how do you explain this sonder. how can you claim to care when you hurt my wife so badly.
Set up an account, got talking to someone who gave me a link to an Australian website which I would've had to pay for, app crashed and when I went to login CV to get back to the chat I had to set up a whole new account as there's no clear way to log on to the created account. It's easier to just deal with my personal health issues by myself
Dodgy data sharing with employer and accessing personal data.
I've never had a conversation with these people that hasn't left me feeling worse than before I contacted them. Every conversation feels like they're copying from a script and were very impersonal. So many conversations just involve them trying to hand me off to someone else or give me numbers for other helplines when I just want someone to listen to how I'm feeling. The real villains here however are companies who consider apps like this to be a reasonable EAP provider for employees
App seems like a pitiful excuse at hoyts trying to be caring, support is limited and basic and honestly I don't know why I would ever use this instead of just calling a GP
App regularly sends nuisance irrelevant notifications. Haven't actually needed the app yet. Turned off notifications and it still spams me. I don't need sonder to tell me commonwealth banking is down or warn me about online scams. Uninstalling.
App doesn't have my organisation on its service and my organisation said something about the app, won't let me login to my organisation network sign-In.
Can't access it to begin :( I need a code or an organisation connected which isn't clear from the description at all.
Does not work
Can't confirm your at your destination once if a chat is active.
I've tried to create an account that NSW Health sent me and I can't the app keeps glitching.
Cannot get it to work. I've tried 3 times, using the link and code sent from NSW Health and it keeps saying to request a new code or it dosnt send me a confirmation email. I can't even access the app. Very disappointing.
Tax payers money should not be spent for Panadol advice. Uninstalled after the first call.
Absolutely useless, wouldn't even let me log in to even see what the app us like.
No option to export transcripts of chats. Waiting over a week just for this information to be sent, but they will send ambos and cops to your house at an instant
App just keeps on crashing when trying to create an account. Reinstalling it doesn't work. Sent an email weeks ago about it but heard nothing back.
You'll get more help talking to your dog
Doesn't download ...read through reviews n find comment re having to pay for service ...not good when not advised of this prior ...just as well don't need whatever service is offered ..
I have tried to start several chat conversations with you (as i have phone call anxiety so i can't call) and no one ever answers, so i end up feeling worse
Have tried to start a chat 3 or 4 separate times now and my messages never deliver.
It WAS good until the latest update when the 'Safety' tab disappeared so now I can't use it to track my journey, which was pretty much the only feature I used on it.
annoying to use
Enter the name and encounter an error
It was great when i forst downloaded it however it now wont load anything i cannot update my details i can only see the home screen nothing else works
Really mixed experiences using this service being excellent and terrible with the registered nurses and operators. I wouldn't rely on it.
