Ear detection is totally flawed. YouTube video gets paused so frequently and automatically that it will ruin the whole experience.
Unable to turn off daily notifications about tokens, even though notifications disabled in app to try and achieve this, meaning I'll miss notifications that I may need. I've had to force stop and disable all notifications in android app settings. Customer service was useless.

This is useless for any kind of problems with your earphones. It also comes with an AI assistant which means its here only to collect your data, train the AI and exert your mobile system.
Noise cancellation of snoring is so unreliable that I find it unusable as a solution

I don't usually rate apps but the way this app has gone downhill is insane. It was a tool for your earbuds, and that's all it needed to be. now you get ads, they push AI, and they want to serve you notifications to use useless products in the app. it would be comical if it wasn't so annoying.

One of the worst wireless headphone (Q20i) I have ever used. Battery backup is completely degraded just in an year. I used to get at least 20hrs (with ANC) of battery backup when I bought it in May-2025, but now (June-2026) battery backup is just 2 hrs (Without ANC). The application is also very pathetic, doesn't show how much battery left and doesn't have any option to optimize the battery
Lacking integration with Google Find Hub, making it harder to track down earbuds when misplaced, even my JBL speaker has this. The app is also teetering on the edge of bloatware.
THE ONE THING I DIDNT EXPECT TO GET AI You were a great pair of headphones, but with whatever update you did lost my trust. take it out, stop killing the headphones and my phone you were so proud having headphones that were just headphones. now I'm getting notifications when I never used to, headphones keep saying they're dead while still playing you lost a customer because you decided ai, something you don't need, is more important than the user. sad and disappointing, do better

This all sucks. I've tried to connect it to multiple Anker Soundcore speakers and none of them will connect. I tried my speaker first and it kept saying Device not found, even though I was following all the steps. The same with the other Soundcore speakers in this house.
was good, now is 400MB storage, 300MB cache, and spam notifications edit: down to 1 star for being up to 1GB storage, burning through battery in the background, and more spam ad notifications.
This app sucks. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I have no problems logging in on my tablet & all my EQ settings are saved as they should be. However, when I try logging in on my phone with the same email and password (I have a passkey set) it says "this email address isn't registered". Also all my EQ settings are gone. I've tried un- & reinstalling the app but it doesn't change anything. This is super frustrating because I mostly use the app on my phone, not on my tablet. Fix this pls.
doesn't work with liberty 5 pro max
had this app for years and now it just crashes every day with no way to fix. cleared data and Uninstalled it then re installed it couldn't even log in Because it just crashes. not 5 staring this til its fix . s24 ultra ONE UI v. 8.5 Android OS 16 USA VZ
Have to force stop the app otherwise it will stay on all the time. Forcing AI where it isn't needed, nor wanted, which is just another piece of spyware. Now I make sure the rare times I want to change settings on my headphones I 1) open app 2) change setting 3) force stop app 4) clear all user data. How about get rid of the garbage and make an app that only does things like change settings and nothing more?
I can't even add my own Device into the soundcore app, despite getting the latest version, it keeps telling me to retry and make sure to do the 4 things but I already did, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong here because I literally reinstalled this app 4 times already and even restarted my own earbuds.
🤕 Toomuch head ache while using ANC in soundcore R60i NC both earbuds and the charging case are always fully charged when this issue occurs. I can see that both earbuds show as fully charged, yet the problem still persists.
ads and annoying junk in the app. stop constantly prompting to run in the background or display over other apps - that's straight up malware behavior. notice that the silly AI features are free for a limited time, which means they're going to try sucking even more money from you. pro-tip: block notifications and background data, and set a 0 minute screen time limit to prevent it running when not actively in use. edit: it looks like soundcore just tried to buy a bunch of good fake reviews
NOBODY wants AI junk in this app. We only have it installed because we need it to adjust settings. Nobody wants this app...
My experience has been terrible. Every time I try to load it, I get an "error force close" message, but the app remains open and continues to run. The controls are a bit awkward to use, and the customization options are not user-friendly. The overall look and feel of the app still seems cheap. It would be better with more simplicity and clear illus The bass option would be good to have with the signature soundcore sound eq, would, and would be nice. offer optimization sound or AI algorithmic.

How do I turn OFF the AI that you added? I do NOT want an AI "that listens to me." Just make the headphones work.
why do you have AI ? why do you take a 1GB of storage if you are just needed to switch modes for headphone ? this can be done under 500mb
why am I getting ads? The application gives a redundant notification everytime it is closed: "soundcore has been running the background". The widget is also completely useless. Instead of giving you quick access to (for example) changing the audio modes, it is simply a button redirecting you to the app.

never use soundcore products. they manually make it worse. don't update liberty 5 to 4.90 - noise cancelling now worse 10-20%(due to liberty 5pro appeared?)
